Popular Post Ayliffe
L'Supervivere Over the course of several years during the great industrial age, this mechanical suit was created by the lesser-known Professor Stewart Phoenix out of disused parts scavenged from various scrapheaps and abandoned factories around the outskirts of Victorian London, hence L'Supervivere's rather cobbled together and complex appearance. The original and sole purpose of L'Supervivere was to be used by Professor Stewart Phoenix to protect his family and his estate, Phoenix Manor, from destruction, but over the years this technical monstrosity was also used for several other suitably vital causes, such as fixing leaks in the Manor's roof and rescuing cats from trees. The most notable alternative use of L'Supervivere was during a lengthy voyage abroad, in which it was used to navigate the treacherous rainforests of the Amazon and defend a party of explorers (including Professor Stewart Phoenix himself) against any threats they may have encountered. At the end of Professor Stewart Phoenix's long and fruitful life, he proclaimed in his last will and testament that L'Supervivere would be passed down to his eldest and only son, Dr Joseph Phoenix, on the sole condition that it mustn't be used for any type of criminal activity and that at the end of his life, he should also pass on L'Supervivere to his eldest son, and that this son should pass it on to HIS eldest son, and so on until what is only described within Professor Stewart Phoenix's will as "The end of all days", but so far no-one has been able to fully understand the meaning behind this choice of words. Mysteriously, after being passed down through several generations L'Supervivere and the Phoenix bloodline completely disappeared from public view in the early 1920s. It is still rumored that L'Supervivere still exists in its original form to this day, but the location of the suit itself and it's rightful owner is currently not known... More images on my Flickr. Pohatu: Uniter of Stone
10/10 rocks, this MOC is quite smashing! Excellent blend of system and technic, and the detailing is beautiful. 1 Quote I HATE SCORPIOS ~Pohatu Master of Stone, 2015
Akavakaku
So cool! The shape is beautiful, and the Bionicle parts work very well. 2 Quote ( The bunny slippers hiss and slither into the shadows. ) -Takuaka: Toa of TimeWhat if the Toa you know best were not destined to be? Space: Ocean of Awe
...Whoa. I really don't know what to say, because this is just so awesome! I love the colour scheme, the detail, the shape...everything. Not a single thing seems out of place, unnecessary, or lacking. =) 2 Quote "Baby, in the final analyses, love is power. Toa Doublebee
While this is no doubt one of the best mocs in this section, it doesn't seem much steampunk to me. I can't really seem to explain this, but to me, the steampunk elements are kinda lost.

J46 Nui
It kind of reminds me of a Bohrok because of its squateness and somewhat roundness. The canopy kinda looks like a the Bohrok's transparent forehead and the vents by it kind of remind me of a Bohrok's eyes. This is a pretty cool MOC. I like the little bits of asymmetry in the details. 1 Quote PSN ID: darthlegoGamertag: SPARTAN J46Steam name: jumpy46
Munty
Outstanding! This is excellent and I definitely see the steampunk in it. The only parts that don't do it for me are the larger foot pieces in the shins (and feet ) The use of Mata heads is clever and the cannon arm is incredible. Not a big fan of the claw which seems a little flimsy in comparison to the rest of the build but otherwise this is a seriously formidable Victorian Dreadnought!!! 1 Quote Check out my Bionicle store on Bricklink here!> > > Bionic Bricks < < < Let me know if you can help me find these last few collectibles! Also looking for WILD KRAATA and a VMKK Yo!!! Lenny7092
Wow! It looks awesome! I love the armor, claws, and cannons. They look epic! Anyway, it looks like either a version of Metalbeard from The Lego Movie or an Autobot from the live-action Transformers movies with Rahkshi feet. ChocolateFrogs
Love it! Full of steampunk goodness, and a great backstory. The build is fantastic, looking like a steampunk thing that actually does something here and there within its cogs and layers, yet still completely functional. -CF
Durahk
WOW, when I first saw this I thought it was a bohrok revamp (and that's not a bad thing!). I Love this mech!

Stantium
If only the Hordika sets had shins that were that solid *zing* In all seriousness, I love the build, especially the Hordika foot shins. Ayliffe
Wow. Just wow. When I originally posted this MOC way back in January as an attempt to integrate unusual pieces into my models, I was expecting it to be mostly forgotten after a couple of days and to be instantly buried, as has been the case on nearly every other forum I go on. What I didn't really expect was a ton of positive replies from all of you lovely people praising my MOCing skillz skills and a load of those reputation-upvote-like things. And then last wednesday at around 11 o'clock I got a tweet in my twitter feed saying that my silly lil' MOC was featured on the frontpage. I literally didn't even know how to react as it was so late at night, leading me into thinking that the whole incident was just a really good dream when I got up the next day. Then I checked back at this thread again. Oh my I didn't see that coming. Anyway, I'd just like to thank all of you lovely people 'ere for liking my MOC, it really means a lot to me and it gives me a ton of motivation that I'm not just wasting my time fiddling about with lego aimlessly. I'd also like to thank whoever posted my creation to the frontpage (I think it was Andrew or someone, I dunno what their username is on 'ere though...), this isn't really something that's happened to me before so thanks for giving me the chance to show off my building skillz skills. As for future projects, you can certainly bet that I'll have some more MOCs up soon with some more integration of obscure elements. In fact, one of my upcoming MOCs has a piece that could be considered out of these dimension(s)... Okay, I'm sorry for the double post, but I has some important(ish?) news... IT'S UP ON LEGO IDEAS! GO SUPPORT IT! #ShamelessSelfPromotion Edited March 26, 2015 by Makaru 2 Quote "In the beginning the Universe was created.
