CeziuM
**The mini version is now up! You can order it here: http://shpws.me/DEHV ** Eyyy, since I’ve seen more and more people try to replicate the Gen2 mask stands, I figured I might as well make one available for printing! I’ve made it available for 3 materials, since others are much more expensive. Wish I could’ve priced it lower, but it’s the absolute minimum Shapeways accepts. So yeah, outsides are completely accurate to the NYCC stands, so if anyone wants one, feel free to order it here: http://shpws.me/CaA6*Note, Shapeways is down at the moment, it should be back up in a couple of hours. EDIT: Shapeways is up and running once again. Edited January 26, 2015 by CeziuM 6 Quote Want your own Mask of Ultimate Power? Pohatu: Uniter of Stone
WOW! This is beautiful! I'd order three, if I could. How deep does the axle hole go? Quote I HATE SCORPIOS ~Pohatu Master of Stone, 2015
CeziuM
WOW! This is beautiful! I'd order three, if I could. How deep does the axle hole go?Thanks! Sure thing, if Shapeways' pricing isn't too much for you, you can order them as soon as it's back up (in around an hour probably). The axle hole runs pretty deep, at around 2-3 technic lengths, can't remember quite correctly. Quote Want your own Mask of Ultimate Power? Makaru
Smoley Hokes! Absolutely beautiful. You have definitely captures the look of the totems. I would love to see someone who does a lot of customization paint and etch one of these up to look like the renderings. A version with the ridges is actually underway, but I went ahead and released the "clean" version first in case people would like to modify the stands themselves, or if someone simply preferred it without the cuts. I believe this answers both questions. Are you planning to have Shapeways produce these in metal variants? If people don't mind paying for them, I don't see why not. I didn't make them available already because some of those prices were a bit too high, but I guess I might as well offer up that too. Quote Want your own Mask of Ultimate Power? Shadow Destroyer
I love seeing this sudden influx of shapeways items! This looks really cool, and I'm considering buying the sandstone variant. Too bad shapeways is so expensive though. I look forward to the day when 3D printing is a lot cheaper... Quote Thank you to the Dark Beings Banner and Avatar Shop for the banner! MrSciFiGuy
If I could justify this expense, I would immediately order it. Alas, school books come first. But great model man and it looks amazing! IXRollOutIX
Did you ever order any of these yourself? I'd really like to see some in person pictures of a couple of the materials.
