My main criticisms are that the pose feels somewhat awkward (her lower body is very open while her upper body is very closed off), and the mask is very abstracted, so details like the "swim goggles" are very difficult to discern. Good use of form when shaping up those CCBS bits to form more rounded armour. Pretty darn accurate and translates well to your style. I wonder what has her vexed? A common misconceptions is that armor needs to be molded to a female's chest when in actuality, that could cause all sorts of harm to fall upon the wearer. Either that, or I have no sense of perspective. You know, considering how often I draw characters with their arms crossed, I'm glad I apparently figured it out. xD Glad you like it. Epic! Love the physique and detailed shading. Fun thing is, I never even saw 'swim goggles' in the original mask until you pointed it out. That's probably the issue here, that I often miss out on some details while others totally catch my eye. ^^" As for the pose, I guess you're right. CCBS works unexpectedly well with my style, due to the sleeker, more streamlined nature of the armour shells (I think). I was pleasantly surprised myself by how natural the translation felt. =) This looks great! My only complaint is that it appears you've fallen into the Chest-Mould Trap. Either that, or I have no sense of perspective. I have walked into that trap knowingly, to be honest. But don't worry, I am well aware of the problem and its implications, and have done some research on the topic (historical armour as well as problematic depictions in contemporary media). Compare Hahli Inika from last year for a more sensible approach where I actually paid attention to armour being useful. :] (old habits die hard, though. I realized recently that lots of my older fanart was shaped by the media etc in a rather, uh, bad way. I'm working on it. ^^) Quote My art collection topic - updated! The shading, the crisp detail, the eyes. All of it is fantastic, and my favorite thing about it has to be how the armor flows and perfectly contours to fit the body. The beginning of the thighs also felt kinda weird when drawing, so something's definitely gone amiss there. Should you happen to find out what exactly it is, do let me know so I can avoid that mistake in the future. :3 For the most part not just even human eyes, but complete faces; I like having something to work with in terms of facial expressions.
