Metru Nui Legacy: Nokama

Ehi there! Today's Toa Metru is Nokama, which is probably my favourite character in the Bionicle series along with Vakama. She is the only Toa Metru to have a articulated waist, which allows a great poseability, she also has these Kiina pieces on her lower arms and legs, to give her a more unique look. I also used many Visorak feets on all over her body, and her torso is built with many gear-looking pieces.

Hope you'll enjoy this MOC!

I made her a double barrel Crossbow as Toa Tool. I'm working on additional weapons right now, probably similar to the original ones.

I tried to made some kind of quiver on her back to give her a bit of asymmetry. I think it looks kinda cool.

As always feel free to suggest improvements  :D

Check her on MOCPages too!

She looks badly anorexic with a one-module-wide waist like that.

Elemental Rahi in Gen2, anyone? A write-up for an initial video for a G2 plot

I really wish everyone would stop trying to play join the dots with Gen 1 and Gen 2 though,it seems there's a couple new threads everyday and often they're duplicates of already existing conversations! Or simply parallel them with a slightly new 'twist'! Gen 2 is NEW, it is NOT Gen 1 and it is NOT a continuation. Outside of the characters we already have I personally don't want to see ANY old characters return. I think it will cheapen the whole experience to those of us familiar with the original line...

Well, she's a little bit tall and thin, but looks good. I'd suggest removing the metru armor pieces and maybe adding some chest armor.

She needs more waist armor.

She looks badly anemic with a one-module-widw waist like that.

Thanks for the suggestions. Tomorrow I'll post a Update, I improved her waist, her upper arms and made her chest bigger. Also working on a additional weapon :V

  • 2 weeks later...

Still working on her. Here's some updates, I made her taller and slimmer, especially her shoulders, made her legs bigger and also her neck longer.

Also made a bayonette to her Crossbow. Left that piece on the heater for about 10 minutes to make it malleable and then locked it in the technic piece.

She now has flippers!

Huge variation from the Vakama moc... really like the variety! Fantastic usage of unconventional pieces for armour and the proportions are super stylized yet works for the overall aesthetic. It's a busy MoC but that's okay cause it looks more like a futuristic war suit and I feel like there was some inspiration from that.

The revamped version is a lot better with the armour placement and weapons. Matau and Whenua are looking pretty slick as well. Again, lots of variety and I really like it!

Thanks for the nice words! The only thing that I didn't like of 2004/5 was that each villain/toa looked so similar (2001 Toas had more uniqueness and Bohrok had their own style, but Nuva and Kal had this kind of problem too). I tried to fix that in some way. Glad you like it!
