Name: Dio Folle

Species: AI similar to that of Mata Nui, encased in a Baterra.

Faction: Vapautti Sielu

Power/Weapon 1/2: Baterra ability of shapeshifting. Effects all weapons in contact with her only in size and shape: The weapon will still do what it was built to do. One of her favorite tricks is to manipulate her arm into a long blade like protrusion, or morph into someone else.

Power/Weapon 3: ability to enter one's mind, and manipulate their senses to see, hear, feel, smell, or taste something that is not truly there. (Example: She can make one hear a voice that is familiar to them while she is talking.) She must have complete focus, however, and generally, during a sword fight, she can not use this ability.

Appearance: Looks like a Baterra generally, though can shapeshift. Also, in her Baterra form, she has dark purple eyes, signaling that she is indeed different.

Bio: Dio Folle was, in her universe, the original programming for the MU. However, she was deemed too unstable and far too dangerous for the inhabitants in the MU. As a result, she was extracted and archived, until one day, she manipulated a worker to retrieve the chip she was stored on, and inserted into the Baterra. This worker was never seen again. She roamed, destroying villages in her wake, until teleported to join th cult. Thankfully, most of her great powers were gone when she joined the cult, so as to make her easier to control.

Personality/Other: Dio Folle is insane and incredibly dangerous. She does not generally play well with others, at least those that are equal to her, and will try to manipulate as many people as possible to serve her, using her mental powers, and intelligence. She was one of the most dangerous entities in her universe. The AI was programmed to be female, though there is no real concept of gender with her.

Power/Weapon 1: Baterra ability of shapeshifting.

I might just point out that one of the new GM characters is a Baterra, and his shapeshifting takes up two slots.

Well, Tuori has advanced shapeshifting, including perfect replication of others down to their voice. Baterra shapeshifting is just basic replication of inanimate objects. I think we have another Baterra who got through with one slot of shapeshifting.

Their shapeshifting takes up two slots because they also essentially no-sell elements and flawlessly replicate living beings.

That said, Bionifight is not a valid starting faction for the time being because the facility cannot bring in new fighters. As such, all new profiles for the duration of Landfall must be prisoners or cultists.

You'll need to edit the bio; it still talks about Dio being pulled into Bionifight, rather than joining the Cult.

Name: Anguish.

Species: Unknown.

Faction: Vapautti Sielu.

Power/Weapon 1: Kanohi Mask of Negativity – can only be activated when the wearer is in the presence of negative emotions such as fear, pain, anger, etc – the mask increases the wearer’s strength to match that of a pakari user.

Power/Weapon 2: Shadows – however, he lacks the ability to perform a nova blast, create a shadow hand, or travel using shadows.

Power/Weapon 3: Agony Lash – his right arm narrows into a bladed, whip-like tentacle/tendril able to inflict savage wounds.

Appearance: A spindly black being clad in copper-coloured armour, his body is covered in translucent green spikes that give off a sickly glow. He’s about a head taller than the average Vortixx, but often moves hunched over, lower to the ground.

Bio: His past is a mystery – even to himself. All he knows of his life is roaming the wailing cliffs and serving the will of Masenna, the Herald of Misery.

Personality/Other: Devoted to the cult, Anguish serves the will of his Herald with unwavering loyalty. He knows no fear, nor is he dissuaded by pain, and he will never consider failure to be a valid option. He rarely speaks, but when he does, his voice is dry, lifeless and husky – like dead leaves rustling in the wind.

Well it looks like the Infinite System is wrecked. So since Maglev and Aeolin died and haven't been played yet, it would be weird if I had them revived. Is there enough staff to deal with the revival during time after Maeus killing half the staff and before Landfall? Or can I just act as they've already been revived and are hanging out like usual.

Everyone who was in the War Games and died is alive, unless you chose to have them have died during or after the facility crash.

I apologize for my... well, whining and complaining. Its been stressful lately, and I've been in a bit of a funk. When everyone else sees something different then I do tends to contribute to that. Anyway, reworked profiles for the mech and Gyro.

Name: Gyro

Species: Autonomous Combat Drone (Prototype)

Power/Weapon 1: Hyper-Kinetic Plating- Gyro is covered with plates on hydraulics, and is able to curl into a ball, where all the plates are positioned and can interlock and form a perfect sphere. The plating absorbs and dissipates all kinetic force directed at it by 'rippling' at the molecular level until the ripples are played out. This only works when in a complete, unbroken sphere, where Gyro can only move by using his own internal gyroscope or by using forces beyond his control, like attacking forces. Gyro can extend and retract plates at will, and is able to use them to quickly roll around, or extend his plasma blasters. This plating offers no resistance whatsoever to energy attacks, which may damage the plating enough to null the protective features of the hyper-kinetic plating. Gyro's sensors are sophisticated enough to not be blind when retracted into sphere mode.

Power/Weapon 2: Plate weaponry- when in humanoid form, Gyro can form the plates on his right arm into a short blade formed of two straight, bladed plates. These are specialized, and separate from the carapace.

Power/Weapon 3: Wrist-mounted plasma blasters- On each of Gyro's wrists are a dual-barreled plasma blaster. It is capable of rapid-fire, and can spin to be used in Sphere mode as a pursuit weapon. They accomplish this by extending from the sides when Gyro is rolling forward in sphere form; they can swivel to keep their bearings, but can only move along one axis. When extended, the absorption of the plating is compromised.

Appearance: Gyro is a humanoid combat drone, approximately Toa-sized. Gyro's entire body is covered with plating on two servos that allow it to move the plates independently. His head resembles that of an ant, but lacks mandibles, and is otherwise smooth, and with two plate-servos serving as antennae. He is primarily white and silver, with a bit of blue for his glowing parts, such as his eyes, lights on his limbs and chest. In his chest cavity, there is a spinning gyroscope. When in sphere mode, the sphere is entirely white, with lines that indicate that it is assembled. His processing systems are solid state, and he is primarily contructed of lightweight polymers in addition to protosteel reinforcements for limb components, a significant exception being the gyroscope in his chest. This means is lighter than a Toa of his size, but is not overly vulnerable to Magnetism and Iron; not more so than any other combatant.

Bio: Gyro was a prototype assassin, which utilized an unstable AI. After he was hacked by some of his targets, he gained a crude 'morality' module. He no longer wished to fight for others' commands, but for his own beliefs. He was appointed a covert operative, and hunted down his inventors before they could make more like him.

Personality/Other: Gyro is technically genderless, but prefers male pronouns. He is cold and ruthless, but not without an itch of morality; his awakened AI allows him to evaluate a situation and rely on his own judgement rather than his pre-programmed combat protocols. His synthesized voice is to-the-point, but somewhat soft in its inflections.

Gyro for modification approval. I wanted to clarify his construction; moreover, so anyone with Magnetism can't instantly wipe him, but also some other stuff.

Also, this.

Gyro clarifications Approved.

Yeah. Mobile is glitchy right, now, and I have no access to a computer. Pretty sure it is the browser's fault. Should be good now.

K cool.

So here's a cultist.

Name: Frostbite

Species: Mutated Bipedal Takea Shark

Faction: Vapautti Sielu

Power/Weapon 1: Bone-Mail Plate - Bone laced within chain mail. The bones are very dense and comes from a Muaka. Since he is "blessed" by the god he serves, the Bone-Mail Plate has become like an exoskeleton. He often likes to wear skulls for helmets or shoulder pads.

Power/Weapon 2: Ice Fangs and Claws - His teeth and claws secrete some kind of liquid that is like liquid nitrogen when biting or cutting an opponent. Due to the fact that he is a shark, he has lots of teeth. His teeth and claws can be used to dig.

Power/Weapon 3: Bone Manipulation - Used to fire his teeth at opponents, as well as to regenerate and heal damaged bones. He also can manipulate the bones on his armor to protrude outward like spikes. He can also control a skeleton from a deceased body to use for tricks or battle.

Appearance: Think of Charger, that Kane-ra Dark Hunter. But he's blue, white, and black, hunched over like a Rahkshi, and has the head of a Takea Shark. He also wears bone-chain mail armor. His teeth is translucent blue.

Bio: When he was born/mutated, he ended up on the coast of small islands where he terrorized (and ate) the Matoran. He was eventually captured and put to work by the Shadowed One of his universe. He served as a Dark Hunter until he was teleported to serve Tuoni and Kuolema due to his love of killing and wearing of skulls. During his time before Landfall, he has often swam over to the Wailing Cliff collecting some dead folk for use if he needed a body. He is eager to challenge and attempt to kill the fighters of Bionifight in the name of his god.

Personality/Other: He refers to himself as a male. He enjoys killing and most importantly loves bones. How they work...how they are made...and how they break. He also likes to drink milk with the occasional cookie to keep his own bones (both on the outside and inside) strong.

I'm hoping the Host will reveal what systems need repaired soon. Ganesh will want to help with that.

Name: Samantha

Species: Hoi Turtle

Gender: Female

Faction: Prisoner

Power/Weapon 1: Thick outer shell which resists the efforts of sharp objects such as swords. Can be used to slam into others, but not without damage to itself. Can be shattered if it sustains enough force, which is a serious injury that can be fatal.

Power/Weapon 2: As typical of all Hoi Turtles, Sam can fly. In fact this is her primary way of getting around usually.

Power/Weapon 3: Pakari - level strength.

Bio: Samantha was an ordinary Hoi Turtle on the Island of Mata Nui in a dimension where Makuta was chained to the floor of Aqua Magna by some other evil bad guys, which resulted in a massive flood that killed everyone in that dimension. Except for the ones killed or captured by the invading cultists. Probably death was better.

Personality/Other: Sam is actually somewhat shy, much preferring to hang out in her shell rather than seek combat. Or torture.

Not sure where I would start this PC out, but I'd think this would work OK somewhere.

Name: Zvuk Voyny

Species: Tahtorak Cultist

Faction: Vapautti Sielu (under Sota)

Power/Weapon 1: Skin of the God of War: Zvuk is heavily armoured, his armour covering nearly all of his body, except for important joints where it could adversely impede movement, and is unnaturally integrated with his body. While it gleams like silver in the sunlight, upon closer examination one will find it to be composed moreso of a whiter metal, looking similar to sun-bleached bones. This is because Zvuk's armour was crafted from the skeleton of every other version of himself he had been able to purge from other universes. After having killed a version of himself, he would have their bones crafted into various plates of armour for him, and then those plates would be welded to the natural armour that Zvuk already posessed, or sewn to his skin, and ultimately it would grow to become a full part of him.

Power/Weapon 2: Stature of the Champion: As a Tahtorak, Zvuk is a highly intelligent being who is thirty feet tall - not a gargantuan like the Tahtorak of Metru Nui, however. With this great stature comes great strength; he can crush beings with jaws or paws if he so chooses, and a good swipe from his tail (discounting anything else he might do with other parts of his body) can take down a building.

Power/Weapon 3: Blessing of Sota: As a loyal follower of Sota, Zvuk has received a 'blessing' (more of an upgrade, really) from his supposed God (from other cultists, but hey, he got it for good service, it counts), that grants him a new power: specialized technological implants in the tips of the five feather-like frills on his head allow Zvuk to launch bolts of energy that are comprised of sheer pain. Via damaging and overriding the nervous system of the target wherever the bolt hits them, the energy forces the frayed nerves to send nothing but pain signals back to the target's brain. These bolts also do impart a level of physical force, able to potentially knock back those who are being hit by them, and also possibly used to facilitate environmental destruction. At lower levels this power is mainly a nuisance and a small distraction; at mid-levels it is dangerous, and will take time to heal (and as such will lessen the effectiveness of whoever was hit); and at the highest levels, it is deadly. At lower power levels, each implant is able to fire spontaneously, and quickly, one bolt coming from the tip of each frill in rapid succession, following wherever the focus of Zvuk's eyesight is. At the middle levels, the bolts originate from the space between each frill, where the now higher-power bolt is charged; this charging takes a small amount of time, and has a small amount of recoil on Zvuk. At the immediately lethal power levels, the bolt originates from just above Zvuk's forehead, taking more time to charge, and those bolts have much more significant recoil against him. Prolonged use at any power level will cause the implants to overheat, requiring cooldown before they can be used again. And, when the bolts are charging, this can be seen by the targets, if they are looking carefully, giving them time to get moving and dodge the attack. The time to charge varies from none at all for the lower power levels, a split second or two for the middling power levels, and four to five seconds for the highest power level.

Appearance: Zvuk Voyny is an impressive, imposing sight. Covered head to toe in armour crafted of metallic bone, he gleams almost blindingly in direct sunlight, and the clinking of his armour announces the presence of a Champion of Sota on the battlefield; he is not a stealthy fighter, but he doesn't have to be. His eyes are a deep, baleful, and pupil-less red colour, looking like rubies in his head. His teeth are long and sharp, as are his claws, though most fighters never see the teeth up close unless they're being ripped apart by them. And, beneath his armour, the presence of his significant musculature is still very noticeable.

Bio: Born a rather average Tahtorak on the island that was home to both his species and that of Keetongu, Zvuk was, from a young age, noticed to be a very violent young Tahtorak. His personality was cold and cunning and often did not reveal any anger whatsoever, but he fought with a tenacity more befitting of the enslaved, desperate Tahtorak on Zakaz...and even some of them thought his tendency for destruction to be frightening. Eventually when he was older he managed to escape to find whatever his own destiny would be, hijacking a boat to leave his island. Eventually he found his way to Stelt, where he tackled a man with an Olmak, and forced that man - on pain of death - to send Zvuk to another place, another world, another dimension - anywhere where he could truly find himself.

That man, thinking he had come up with a good method to make the young Tahtorak regret his actions, sent Zvuk to Saarella Kirottu. He could not have been more wrong.

Soon enough, Zvuk found himself a prisoner of the cult - and quite quickly after learning more about the cult, he found himself joining the specific portion of it that followed the war god, Sota, above all else, and Sota's Herald. He quickly rose through the ranks of that specific portion of the overall cult, and still tries to climb higher - to become Hevias's second in command, and ultimately, his inward desire - kept hidden from all others - is to become the new Herald of War.

And, an important note - soon after arriving, he led the cult back to his universe. His universe was promptly purged. The first person Zvuk killed? The man with the Olmak, who had thought to try and play a sick joke on Zvuk.

Personality/Other: Zvuk is cold and cunning, with a reptillian intelligence and the patience of an apex predator. He forms careful plans, and even when his plans go haywire he is able to adjust on the fly to continue with what he is doing, and is quite adaptable. Normally, his emotions are under complete lockdown - sometimes, however, a dreadful, terrible anger can find itself unleashed, the heritage of Zvuk's race, prompting him to go into a berserker rage terrible enough that entire cities have quaked beneath his anger before.

Kind of pushing the envelope with this profile...

Name: Ignika Fallen (I.F.)

Species: Kanohi Mask (with Toa body)

Faction: Vapautti Sielu (under Kurjuus)

Power/Weapon 1 and 2: Life manipulation. I.F. is capable of using its life-based powers to:

  • Drain/give life force to a living object (similar to Avsa + Reverse Avsa). I.F. can only use one "side" of this power at a time.
  • shapeshifting of other beings (NOTE: THIS REQUIRES THE SHAPESHIFTED PARTY'S EXPLICIT CONSENT. IT ALSO CANNOT GRANT INDIVIDUALS NEW POWERS; IT CAN ONLY CHANGE THEIR FORM. The changes from the shapeshifting will also revert in an hour's time.)
Power/Weapon 3: Skyboard (similar to Toa Ignika's but without blades; it's just a flying board)

Appearance: Basically a blue, black, and silver version of Toa Ignika (with a slightly different armor pattern). It usually wears a hooded robe to cover its own appearance. The mask on its face is usually a solid black color but will glow golden when it is using its powers.

Bio: I.F. was the Kanohi Ignika of a timeline where it was forced to wipe out all life in the Matoran Universe. This also being a timeline where it become Toa Ignika and gained the experiences of a mortal creature, it was very distraught by its own actions. When the mask was taken by Vapautti Sielu to Saarella Kirotu, it quickly took to the teachings of the cult, probably as a way to escape its own guilt. That guilt eventually caught up with it though(see Personality/Other), and it ended up attaching itself to the pathy of Misery. To this day, I.F. serves Kurjuus and the Herald, Masenna.

Personality/Other: ironically for a Mask of Life, I.F. is obsessed with death. It truly believes that to die is to be set free; yet it does not believe itself worthy of death; not out of cowardice, but out of a twisted guilt complex resulting from its purge of its universe (for some reason, I.F. is convinced that all those killed by it purge were not "set free" but are trapped in a sort of limbo; this causes it immense guilt). I.F. is also very melodramatic, being easily brought to tears and... Dramatic shouting (probably due to still being a child - or an adolescent at most - mentally).

I.F. has been heavily modified by Vapautti Sielu, having been heavily weakened. It won't leak life energy if damaged and its command over the power of life has been heavily weakened (restricted to the powers described in Power Slot 1+2)

Name: Thak

Species: Fe-Skakdi

Gender: Male

Faction: Prisoner

Power/Weapon 1: Thermal Vision

Power/Weapon 2: Big Bertha, a handheld cannon of curious make, it channels Thak's natural Iron Element to fire subsonic bolts of Iron in whichever manner Thak chooses; be it simple pellets or large chunks.

Power/weapon 3: A pair of Protosteel knuckle dusters with studs.

Bio: Thak came from a wasteland not unlike this one, where metal machines and eldritch terrors ruled.there he was a treasure hunter, seeking fortune and glory all his days.

Personality: greedy, boisterous and generally very Skakdi like. Good natured unless it comes to money.

Appearance: burly, as befitting the Iron element, Thak is Handsome by Skakdi standards, and even by some other standards. His body is Gunmetal and copper, as are his spines, which are curiously blade like in shape and toughness. Orange eyes and a trademark toothy grin complete the rogue.

Name: Scriva.

Species: Toa.

Faction: Prisoner.

Power/Weapon 1/2: The Power of the Written Word – this power allows Scriva to make any piece of written prose – so long as it consists of at least three sentences of decent length – to come true. This power has several limitations:

  • If the user wishes to effect an object/person, the prose must be written on them, or an object in direct contact with them.
  • The power cannot be used to directly cause harm to another, but can be used to heal, if the person is willing.
  • The power cannot be used to summon objects from nowhere, or bestow new powers upon people, but can be used to provide temporary boosts, which weaken the object/person once they wear off.
  • The user is unable to apply the power directly to themselves, only to other people or things.

Power/Weapon 3: The Pen is Mightier than the Sword – at first glance, it looks like a perfectly ordinary ballpoint pen. However, when the top part of the pen is twisted a certain way and the pen clicked, a thin, stiletto-like blade springs forth.

Appearance: Clad in the blue and gold of a Ce-Toa, she wears a tattered, threadbare grey cloak and gloves over her armour, to help cover up the severe scarring left by her near-death in a fire long ago. Damage to her voice-box caused by that same fire has left her unable to speak in much above a harsh, rasping whisper without hurting herself.

Bio: Imprisoned in the Ga-Metru Asylum for no justified reason, she helped the other patients overthrow the corrupt wardens and doctors, and aided in the defeat of the monster that had been plaguing the facility. But as the inmates began to celebrate their newfound freedom, the Vapautti Sielu invaded, and she was imprisoned once more.

Personality/Other: Scriva mostly keeps to herself, and tries to avoid attracting unwanted attention. She is quiet, shy and observant, making note of the comings and goings of other in a small notebook she keeps on her person. She’s desperate to escape her prison, and the recent Landfall of the Bionifight facility may provide an opportunity for her to do exactly that…

Don't give them any ideas. We already have Heralds with undead armies out back. We don't need to add to the fray.

Urge to create a zombie character is growing....

Hey guys. Guys. Guys guys guys. Quick reminder that there is apparently one area that is entirely made of up of (apparently occupied) graves. And that Jorth has a Tryna. I can see that becoming enormously useful at some point in the future

Except the occupants of those graves apparently have a habit of crawling out of them in the night. I'm not sure a Tryna can wrest control of corpses that have wills of their own....

Also worth noting is that the Tryna requires ever increasing amounts of concentration per animated corpse, making using it to create armies of the undead rather difficult.

Regardless, if I do not at least try to have Jorth resurrect an army at some critical moment then I think I have failed the story. We need one of those moments of awesome where everything seems at its bleakest and suddenly, boom, undead reinforcements.

Failing that, I will settle for one zombie T-Rex for Jorth to ride around on. Because I have been wanting to have someone do that for a long time
