Name: Tahnok Nuva

Species: Modified Bohrok chassis

Power/Weapon 1: Shadow Krana Xa - a Krana mutated by Makuta to emulate the strength of a shadow Kraata, it is, however simply a strong Krana Xa that has been stripped of any light it had.

Power/Weapon 2: A large War hammer with which it channels its fire based attacks. Upon the neck of the hammer is a Kualsi, a mask it has ripped from the face of a Makuta, and is there as a sign of power

Power/Weapon 3: It can manipulate heat of an area to its whim, if it channels enough power, it can transform the space around it, ground turning to magma, turning water into heated steam instantly and making the air burn.

Appearance: Being an extensively modified Bohrok, it is a hodgepodge of parts used to stabilize the shell, which had been introduced to energized Protodermis and mutated. It is much larger than an ordinary Bohrok, around 10 feet tall, due to the heavy containment armor. Many rough spines cover its back as a design element a Makuta wanted incorporated. some of these spines carry over to its right arm, which carries its hammer normally. Its other hand is quite large and can easily hold a matoran. It has thick, reinforced legs carrying its large torso. It has two pairs of eyes on its slightly larger head. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Drakua/Creations/image.jpg

Bio: Created in a matoran lab under the supervision of a Makuta, the Tahnok Nuva was an ordinary bohrok that the Makuta in question wanted to figure out how to control. It underwent many experiments, but all were failures. That is, until the Makuta gave the matoran under his employ access to an experimental shadow Krana. With the shadow Krana under it helm, it became smarter, biding its time and following orders until it could escape and return to its queens. Unfortunately, the Makuta didn't stop at making it obey. He introduced the bohrok to energized protodermis, morphing it into something almost unrecognizable. But the process caused more problems than it helped. The newly changed bohrok chassis was unstable, and prone to violent power surges. One of the Matoran working the project saw this and got to work repairing the body with newer mechanisms to replace the damage. But, upon reactivation, the now complete Bohrok Nuva attacked the worker, and went on the war path towards the Makuta responsible for its pain. Thank Nuva eventually was able to confront, and kill, its creator, and took the Makuta's Hammer and mask as a trophy of his defeat.

Personality/Other: Tahnok Nuva is an angry soul, normally quiet and contempt of the creatures around it. However, when it comes to the Makuta, it is quick to want to smash their shells and burn their essence. For a Bohrok though, he is quite a bit smarter thanks to its Shadow Krana Xa powering its quick and strategic thinking. It only cares to serve its queens, but due to their absence, it has learned to make due on its own, destroying whatever gets in its way. He'll only make conversation when it suits his needs, taking on a masculine voice and demeanor. He is however struggling with his newly found sentience, and may occasionally revert to its prior programing when not thinking about it. He seems to be using this tournament as an outlet for his anger and contain his primal urge to cleanse.

I hope Tahnok Nuva gets accepted. He is eager to let loose.

Since the Krana Xa's power is "merely" complex strategy, I think it balances out with the physical advantage that Tahnok Nuva may have over other contestants; for that reason, Tahnok Nuva is approved.

So, question. If the Host tried to copy the power of a powerless fighter, what would happen? Would he retain his previous power, or get the power of powerlessness, or what?

If the Host tried to copy a power but there was no power to copy, nothing would happen - he'd still retain his prior copied power.

Okay, so, followup question. If he tried to copy the power of a previously powered combatant, whose power has since been sealed away or reduced to uselessness, would he be able to copy it at full strength, or not at all?

Cool. So how will he be introduced to the story? Or would Tahnok Nuva have been there since the beginning?

Full strength, or stronger. And even normally, when the Host copies someone's power, his copied version would tend to be stronger than the original one. Trust me, there's an actual plot justification beyond staff characters being OP... but that's spoilers.

Characters that are approved after the beginning of the story are introduced as if the organisers had just teleported them in, so Tahnok Nuva would simply appear in the corridors or wherever without any weird timey-wimey shenanagins going on. Hope that helps! :D

Correct. Thanks for covering that.

Do I smell Infinite Gems? :P

I'm sure you do, but that's not related to the staff characters' power levels. ;)

What if the person's power is to be a cute little girl?

You never told me what'd happen to the Host in that case.

The Host doesn't need to use the power he copies... or even copy it in the first place...

But the Host would obviously become an even cuter littler girl I guess?

Name: Venom Huntress

Species: “Protector”

Power/Weapon 1: Huntress has the control of Poison.  This grants her immunity to all toxins.  She also poisons anything she touches, causing plants to wilt and animals to become ill.  She has learned to control this power to some extent, and can modulate between mild sickness and life threatening.  She can use this power to coat her weapons in venom.  She normally wears gloves.

Power/Weapon 2: She carries two large, curved daggers.  When laced with poison wounds inflicted by these blades quickly become infected.

Power/Weapon 3: Small, hand held gun, It fires off a quick burst of six shots before it must be reloaded.  The shots are painful but leave no permanent damage.  When poisoned the wounds will not be any more serious but the pain inflicted by them will not go away.

Appearance: She is roughly the size of a Matoran/Agori.  Her armor is green and purple.  She wears the standard mask for her species, it is green and yellow, swooping back in a V-like shape.  She wears gloves to help control her power as well as a black cloak.

Bio: Huntress was training to follow in her father’s footsteps and become the next protector of the jungle tribe. She was loved by everyone in the village. However, one day she discovered that she had a strange control over poison.  People fell sick and plants wilted and died at her touch.  Soon the people of the village distrusted her and her father requested that she leave, for the good of the village.  She has been wandering the island ever since.  Never staying in one place long enough for anyone to find out about her powers.

Personality/Other: Once friendly and open.  Huntress has closed herself off, not wanting to make friends she believes she will eventually hurt.  She prefers to be alone and gets angry when people don’t realize that.  She is also very clever and patient.

Six Kingdoms Characters: Mazor, Jephro, The Janitor, Informant

Approved!

I do believe this is the first G2 character in the RPG, so that's neat.

The cute little girl power is a passive, always active one.

Though I may have misunderstood his copying, I assumed that if he copied say, Tahu. He would receive both fire elemental powers and the Hau's power.

The Host copies specific powers; he doesn't copy a person altogether to get each of their powers.

Within reason, of course - you aren't allowed to take enough food to starve the other fighters, for example. :P

Phazur is dead, finally, so I can post this other profile :)

Name: Feli Gemshimmer

Species: Female Cy-Toa

Power 1: Elemental powers of Crystal. Allows her to create and control protodermic crystal.

Weapon 2: The Lightbringer, a great sword made out of an alloy of protosteel and protodermic crystal. It's almost metallic in appearance, but is slightly transparent and shimmers like a gem.

Tool/Power 3: Kanohi Sana, the Great Mask of Healing. Allows her to quickly heal the injuries of others.

Mech: The Wraithknight

Appearance: Feli is very tall for a Toa, and quite muscular. Her body is strong and agile. Her body is coloured light blue and yellow. Her eyes and her heartlight glow turquoise. She wears a decorated white cloak.

Bio: Feli is a templar knight of the Order of Hope, an organization dedicated to protecting and helping the weak. Their knights strive to be strong and virtuous. Feli is an experienced member of the order. She was forced to fight in a Bionifíght tournament once before, but she didn't win.

Personality/Other: Feli strives to be a good person, just like all other knights in her order. She's honourable, brave, kind, compassionate.. really, most of the positive traits you can think of fit her. However, she lacks humility, and often overestimates her own skills and abilities. She is very arrogant when dealing with people who appear sinful and wicked. She can also be rather temperamental sometimes, and lacks patience. She is also a very trusting person, meaning that it's easy to betray her. This will make you her mortal enemy, however.

Allies: Donrioda

Enemies: None as of yet

Question: if a character is a toa, does the toa's elemental power count as using a weapon/power slot?

"It's all a trick, you see. They want me to pretend to betray them. They want you to concentrate your forces here against an attack that won't come. But I decided: Why pretend to betray them when actually doing it would be so much more fun?"

Well, you may want to tell the Rahkshi that.

We've been stuffing our faces practically every time we've gone in there.

But they aren't trying to starve anyone. They're just blown away by the fact that there's decent food.

Did Dayeth the forget that the average Manas can stomp a handful of Toa? Not to mention an intelligent and empowerEd Manas..

She's used to Manas obeying her, not attacking her. She's too irritated by that to care much about it's capabilities.
