FIRST WAVE OF PROFILES

 

 

 

Name: Tirkah
Species: Glatorian
Weapon/Power 1:A large projectile launcher, capable of tearing holes even in Protosteel. Resembles a human Hecate II in both appearance and power. Wiki link for the curious: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGM_H%C3%A9cate_II
Weapon/Power 2: Chameleon suit. Allows Tirkah to blend with their environment, rendering them hard to see. This suit also provides adequate armor protection, and can turn blades and even small projectiles.

Appearance: Blue under the Chameleon armor, the armor itself defaults in a dull green.

Bio: Hailing from a world where the Makuta took over both the Matoran Universe and Spherus Magna, Tirkah lived in a harsh unforgiving world, and the inhabitants developed weapons capable of punching through Protosteel armor.

Personality: Brash, arrogant and rude, often tells stories of his past, unknown if these are true or not. Unforgiving in battle. Male.

This will probably be the last profile I submit for a long time; I originally was going to only run four characters but an idea hit me and grew into a fifth.

Name: Minami Kyoushi-Amakusa

Species: Toa

Power/Weapon 1: Elemental Cloth: Minami is capable of creating, absorbing, and manipulating most fabrics and textiles, be they plant, hair, silk, or even synthetic based. Note that she can only manipulate processed material that can be roughly classified as "textiles"; she can't control the raw components.

Power/Weapon 2: Plague Dust: Minami can create and control illness-causing spores (essentially a weaker but faster-acting variant of Anthrax). Beings exposed to these spores will quickly develop the following symptoms: nausea, coughing, and skin rash. In small amounts this is merely an annoyance; however, if a being is exposed to large amounts of spores over an extended period of time, more serious symptoms (such as vomiting blood, skin lesions) could develop. Minami is immune to the effects of her spores.

Power/Weapon 3: Telepathy: the last vestiges remaining of her former psionic powers, Minami is capable of basic telepathic communication with others. Her power operates much like a Kanohi Suletu, allowing her to send and receive thoughts and images from others.

Appearance: Minami cuts a tall, but thin profile, appearing sort of frail at first glance. Ornate crystal armor covers her blue and gold body, and a golden mantle is almost always draped over her person. The image of an Iden on her face completes the look, with sickly green eyes, matching the color of her heartlight, shining from behind it.

Bio: The Kentoku Archipelago. A chain of islands in he midst of the endless ocean, it is home to the Dasaka Empire, a civilization entirely composed of Ce-Elementals, divided into large clans, each holding a certain measure of political clout. Minami belonged to the upper echelons of this civilization, being the ruler of her clan - Kyoushi, a clan of scientists and engineers. Succeeding her mother as Toroshu at a young age, she helped see the clan through troubled times, including several schisms within the clan as well as militaristic threats from her rivals.

Eventually, Minami and his clan would become embroiled in a civil war between the dominant clan, Umbraline, and one of their allies, Dastana. Taking Dastana's side, Minami commissioned a project that could potentially unlock new powers in her species, believing that it could give Kyoushi an advantage should they be forced to fight themselves. Desperate for results, she eventually performed tests on herself, with the hopes of enhancing her own psionic powers, or possibly gaining new ones.

The experiment... Sorta went wrong.

Instead of gaining psionic power, Minami lost it, receiving in exchange control over a seemingly useless power. However, Minami was undeterred, and performed more experiments on both herself and other volunteers, eventually unlocking the ability to control bioweapons. What happened next... Is a story for another time (though considering that Minami is here, it does end with her vanishing from her world).

Personality: focused, confident, and decisive. All these are qualities required of a leader, and all these are qualities Minami has learned well. Despite still having not quite reached adulthood, Minami presents a very mature and pragmatic image. Determined to not show any weakness in front of anyone, all her actions are measured, calculated, and planned so as to project a strong image to all those around. However, a good leader also cares for the people around her, so Minami isn't all iron; if she feels that she has no reason to mistrust an individual, she will treat them with warmth and friendliness. Even to her enemies, she will show small, strategic amounts of compassion.

Other: Minami used to be paraplegic; however, the experiments Minami performed on herself restored function in her lower body. However, her legs have yet to return to full strength, so she is more easily put off balance than most.

Name : Oinez / Killer Queen

Species : Matoran / "Guardian Spirit"

Power/Weapon One : Another One Bites the Dust. Killer Queen is able to imbue an object* with explosive energy, the next person (aside from Oinez) to touch it will trigger the explosion. The size of the blast is directly related to the size of the object. A rock might be nothing more than a large firecracker, while a tree or large door could be equivalent to a sizable chunk of plastic explosive or TNT

*For balance reasons, this cannot be a living being

Power/Weapon Two : Sheer Heart Attack. Killer Queen creates a autonomous, heat-seeking bomb. The bomb resembles a small hand grenade with treads and a skull-like face. It will remain active and seek a target for approximately five minutes. Contact with a target will cause an explosion equivalent to a hand grenade and spew a napalm-like substance over a small area. Destroying the bomb will cause a smaller explosion. Nullifying it via water, ice or other non-destructive means will cause cessation of existence for the bomb

Power/Weapon Three : Stone Cold Crazy. At the cost of becoming visible and sealing it's bomb powers, Killer Queen is empowered physically to allow for hand-to-hand combat. This empowerment consists of a strength/speed boost akin to a Calix and a hardening of it's corporeal form, increasing durability

Appearance : Oinez is a beige-grey matoran of average height, possessing a slim, athletic build. He wears especially light armor, devoid of markings or unique artifacts. In fact, the key word to describe him would be "unnoticeable, background character," or "miscellaneous accountant or businessman." This is exactly the way he prefers it. He wears a powerless Akaku in a slightly darker shade than his armor. He possesses something his world refers to as a "Guardian Spirit" A ghostly apparition of a being that appears as they would, were they a Toa. This apparition can be summoned at will and interact with the world, physically or via it's powers. It is difficult to see for most, appearing as a faint heat haze or suspiciously thick area of empty space. Being solid, they are more easily viewed through a covering of other materials. For example, a cloud of smoke, dust, snow or splash of liquid would outline them quite clearly. Beings with echolocative capabilities could also see them, as could especially sensitive psionic or gravity elementals. The apparition has a short range, about five bio from it's owner at maximum and damage incurred to either the owner or spirit will be reflected unto the other

Bio : A normal office worker, hard worker and worthy of praise, but below and behind the notice of many. He prefers it this way. Oinez found his Toa Potential many decades ago, since then he has lived a quite and peaceful life. Other than the murders. Possessed of murderous tendencies and a lustful greed for hands and feet, Oinez has quietly terrorized his Metru-Nui as a serial killer. Cutting off and keeping the left hand or foot of his latest romantic partner until its eventual degradation, at which point he resumes the hunt.

Personality/Other : Oinez is quiet and polite. Definitely not the serial killer type. His only exemplary aspects are his obsession with maintaining a peaceful and uneventful life. He has gone to great lengths to maintain his way of life, eluding capture and persecution time and time again. He makes sure to never rank higher than 3rd place in any contest, to avoid unnecessary notice. As well as a tidy and organized home office, ensuring bills, debts and social minutiae are well attended to and kept regular and normal. In contrast to this, his Toa Potential is quite sadistic and cruel, sometimes overwhelming his more mild manners during combat or stressful situations

Name: Lefia

Species:Ce-Toa

Power/Weapon 1: Psi-Blade: Similar to the Mindarm dicipline of the Dasaka, Lefia can generate a telekinetic weapon of various sizes, shapes, etc, making it semi-visible via a psionic illusion. She can make two at a time, at most. She can only make weapons she can imagine or has seen before, and cannot make projectile weapons or weapons with many moving parts.

Power/Weapon 2: Charisma: By lacing her words with subtle Psionics, Lefia can convince just about anyone of anything. Strong-willed  beings can resist this, but due to the way the powers piggyback on the words, mental defenses are ineffective.

Power/Weapon 3: Mental Shielding: As with all Ce-Toa, Lefia has nigh-impenetrable mental shields.

Appearance: Lefia is wiry and thin, with mostly gold armor. She is acrobatic and athletic.

Bio: Before Biofight, Lefia lived in a mostly utopian world, where all species lived together in harmony. There was still crime, of course, though. Lefia was an accomplished pickpocket, who used her Psionics abilities in certain ways so often that her secondary powers atrophied, leaving her with the three listed.

Personality/Other: Lefia is an excellent pickpocket, accomplished thief, and extremely good at talking her way out of things, assisted by her Charisma. She is very full of herself though.

Now here's my take on a Toa of Dance.

Name: Dreidel
Species: Toa
Power/Weapon 1: Weather Control and via Dance - By dancing in certain ways he can bring about storm, snow, lightning, and tornado. i.e. Doing a rain dance brings rain, quick and fast paced dance moves bring lightning, etc.
Power/Weapon 2: Lightning Tops - With his Toa Powers of Lightning, he creates tops of lightning that he will fire at his opponents. These tops will move in a circular motion, on their own accord after being fired, to get to his target, making it harder to dodge. And that's the only thing he'll do with his element.
Power/Weapon 3: Retractable Wheels and Blades on his plated shoes - Turns his shoes into bladed rollerskates to spin, dance, and move faster. The blades were originally guardrails for his wheels but found blades more effective when he kicked a foe in the face.
Appearance: A tan and brown Toa with black plated shoes.
Biography: After a war between the Tribe of Dance and the Tribe of Song (those singers are crazy fighters, btw), he was praised as one of the heroes of his tribe when in one of the big battles, he shot tops at his opponents while spinning around to create tornados. He was practicing the techniques for a Hurricane when he was signed up for Death Battle BIONIFIGHT by his tribe leader.
Personality: Upbeat and always spinning around. He's highly sociable and independent in his own right, preferring to also implement real martial arts into his dancing.

 

Dreidel not approved. Everything is fine except for the bio section; fighters do not sign up for Bionifight. They are selected by the Host and subsequently plucked from their universe without any warning whatsoever.

 

I'll take a look at the other profiles shortly.

 

 

So, due to discussions in the Skype chat, I made a blog entry detailing Halken's universe, and some details about the islands in it.

Name: Tuoni, Herald of Death

Species: Baterra

Faction: Vapautti Sielu

Power/Weapon 1/2: Enhanced Baterra Physiology. Tuoni can shapeshift, being essentially liquid metal. Unlike standard Baterra, Tuoni can flawlessly mimic living beings in appearance and voice. They can even absorb the memories of those they kill to mimic them even more perfectly. They also have extremely enhanced resistance to all elemental attacks and psionic powers, rendering the mightiest elemental or psionic assault more akin to a mosquito than a firestorm

Power/Weapon 3: A bolt-action anti-materiel rifle with a laser sight, chambered with rounds coated in a trio of toxins, one hallucinogenic, one a muscle relaxant, and the last an anticoagulant. In essence, if you somehow survive getting shot with an anti-tank rifle retrieved from a pocket dimension, you will be hallucinating, bleeding out, and suffocating all at once. http://i.imgur.com/EOoKkvN.png

Appearance: Whatever they like! But their “Default” appearance is of a lithe male Glatorian, clad in white armor and wearing silver Ignikas as pauldrons. “His” helmet completely conceals “his” face, with a silver wire mesh obscuring “his” eyes and mouth. “His” eyes are a piercing blue behind the mesh, but oddly seem to lack sclera or pupils, the only holdover from Tuoni’s terrifying true form.

Bio: Tuoni refuses to speak of their past before joining Vapautti Sielu. When they joined, they rapidly took to the teachings of Kuolema, making them the leader of Vapautti Sielu. As such, the invasion of the facility was their plan, and had been in the works for longer than most anyone would imagine. And now that they have arrived, the liberation shall begin.

Personality/Other: Tuoni is devious, more than willing to play multiple angles of a conflict to ensure their own success. Their ability to mimic organic creatures in flawless detail enables them to do so masterfully, and tends to result in far greater death than would have occurred without their meddling. The only other concrete detail that can be traced back to the “true” Tuoni, if they even exist, is a fanatical devotion to someone known as “Kuolema,” and Tuoni’s title: The Herald of Death. However, if one were to (somehow) take note of their conversations, one would note they seem to mock everyone they speak to by assuming an imitation of how they speak.

Name: Alisa Dare.

 

Species: Toa.

 

Power/Weapon 1: Unshakeable Shield: a round, razor-edged shield. Forged out of old Onu-Metruan Kanoka disks, it’s incredibly light and durable, and possesses an uncanny ability to somehow always make its way back to its owner if dropped or thrown.

 

Power/Weapon 2: Painblade: she is able to manifest a blade of pure, intangible energy that causes intense agony when it strikes a target. It cannot be blocked via physical means, but it’s unable to penetrate barriers formed from energy.

 

Power/Weapon 3: Absence: she is capable of firing powerful pulses of energy that are able to make an aspect of another being become temporarily absent for several minutes. She must select her attack type before firing, be it sensory, physical or mental.

 

Sensory targets are the opponent’s five senses. Each attack can only target one sense; she is unable to fire a blast that robs a foe of multiple senses simultaneously. 

 

Mental targets include things like memories and emotions, but she has to be focus very specifically on what she is targeting, otherwise the attack may not be effective.

 

A physical attack will simply make the impacted area vanish from existence, leaving a fist-sized hole of nothingness where the energy came into contact with the object. This is the most taxing of her abilities, so she only uses it when she feels certain the energy will not be wasted.

 

Appearance: Clad in grey and gold, Alisa’s eyes and heartstone glow violet. She wears a powerless mask in the shape of a golden Hau.

 

Bio: In her universe, the usual rules of good and evil have been turned on their head. Mata Nui and Light are forces of evil, while the Makuta and Shadows represent good. The evil Rahkshi serve the Order of Mata Nui and possess elemental abilities, while the noble Toa bear powers that are completely unique to each individual.

 

When the Toa Hagah stole the Mask of Light and defected to the side of Mata Nui, Alisa swas one of those tasked with hunting them down, but was too late to stop the others from passing the Mask on to a corrupt Matoran named Takua, who later transformed into Takanuva, the Toa of Light.

 

Takanuva, the Hagah and an army of Rahkshi ravaged the Southern Continent before working their way up towards Metru Nui. Alisa, blaming herself for the death and destruction left in their wake, set out on her own to make up for her failure.

 

Fighting her way through the army, she engaged Takanuva in single combat. In the end, she slew him, but not without suffering several deadly wounds of her own. As she lay dying, her final act was to destroy the Avohkii, so that no one could ever wield its accursed powers again. 

 

To her surprise, however, she did not die. She instead awoke in the infirmary of the Bionifight facility, her wounds healed in preparation for the arena.

 

Personality/Other: Kind-hearted and considerate, Alisa adheres to The Three Virtues and Toa Code as best she can. However, she doesn’t regret killing Takanuva, seeing the murder as a necessary deviation from the Code. She has a soft spot for Matoran, and nothing but the utmost respect for other Toa, but her hatred for Rahkshi and other creatures of the light is not to be underestimated.

Name: The Skull Carrier

Species: Bionicle G2 villager (mutated)

Power/Weapon 1: Skull Armor. In addition to the skull spider plastered to his face, the Skull Carrier bears armor covered in Skull spiders ready to attack on his command at all times. Given the nature of this Tournament, he arrives with just three. Spindle, a silver and very quick spider, and Scraper and Zogg, two very sturdy blue spiders.

Power/Weapon 2: Skull Scythe. A scythe decorated with a skull visage that doubles as a hammer head.

Power/Weapon 3: [This slot can be taken away for balancing purposes] As a former resident of the Jungle Tribe, the Skull carrier still carries a spiritual connection to the world which he can access through meditation to produce visions and connect to the minds of others.

Appearance: With all the skull spiders clinging to him and his face, there isn't much of the real Karixis left to see. All that is left is the mute, decrepit green armor scratched and pitted by the arachnids clinging to him. The formerly ornamental armor is now shredded and shaped liked janged teeth and terrible claws. The Skull Carrier hunches over from the weight of the creatures is carries on his back.

Bio: The Skull Carrier, formerly known as Karixis, was a high ranking member amongst his tribe of the jungle. He helped carry out ceremonies, planned events and defended the village from enemies. That is, until the skull spiders came. While holding the monsters back with the other warriors, the village was flanked by the spiders, and numerous people were taken. By the time the fighting on the front stopped, it had been too late to save the tribe's home. the majority of his family and friends dead, Karixis set out against the Elder protector's wishes and set off on a mission of revenge. As we can see, that mission was a failure, and he was consumed. He now serves as the spiders' vehicle, defending their nests and feeding their young his life energy. Behind the living mask glued to his face, he honestly believes he is still serving his tribe. He even carries around his old Sling-Mace as a reminder of that life.

Personality/Other: The Skull Carrier is in a world of his own, under the illusion that the spiders are his family, and that outsiders are to be destroyed. That being said, those who are the spawn of Makuta may confuse him, he may envision them as people from allied tribes, and treat them with cold respect, as a courtesy and nothing more. He cares more for his spiders than his own life. He is willing to defend them until the end.

 

Resubmitted with a change to his weapons/powers and the removal of the Sling-mace from his weapon slots. The tool is now purely decorative. Edited by Drakua Toa of Rahi

In reference to your Skull Spiders, your latest post describes one of them shooting webbing at Tirkah (with no explanation as to how it got there), despite the fact that your profile doesn't say anything about them being capable of doing so.

Name: Ekial
Species: Unknown
Power/Weapon 1: Grotesque, long, claws coming out of one arm. These claws can extend to nearly twice their size, and can retract at will.
Power/Weapon 2: Ekial appears to have the power to spit acid from his mouth. This acid can erode protosteel, and smells horrible, to the point of making people want to gag.
Power/Weapon 3: Limited fire powers, which only allow Ekial to slightly burn an opponent with touch.
Appearance: Ekial is thin, tall, and grotesque. His face is similar to a Great Huna, but morphed, with sharp fangs coming out of the mouthpiece. His eyes are an evil red. One of his arms are completely messed up, with veins and bone sticking out. This arm is where his claws come out. His other arm is short, and thin. He is predominantly yellow, with red feet, and face.
Bio: Ekial should have died. He appeared in the mountains, after a Matoran went missing. Soon after, people began to die. Victims were often found half eaten, or slashed up and eroded. It hid in the dark of the night, striking Ko-Koro every night. Soon, the creature was frozen by local Toa, and left in the mountains, to die. The killings stopped, and everything went back to normal. But the stories of his killings were told to Matoran for generations. But in reality, he never died.
Personality/Other: He cannot speak, he can only make loud rasps and roars. He is very aggressive, be advised if you approach him. He is male.

Except that these aren't real life spiders. While they look like spiders, so far their only confirmed abilities are the face hugging and the special breed varieties (durability, x-ray vision, etc). Until we actually see them using web in the animation shorts, it would be better to assume that producing web is an ability that they lack.

 

And not all spiders produce web. Look up tarantulas.

Except that these aren't real life spiders. While they look like spiders, so far their only confirmed abilities are the face hugging and the special breed varieties (durability, x-ray vision, etc). Until we actually see them using web in the animation shorts, it would be better to assume that producing web is an ability that they lack.

 

And not all spiders produce web. Look up tarantulas.

And now after long preparation, I present this. This is based on a couple of things, but first of all, I wasn't kidding about his color. I had to figure out ways I could balance him, but I still think he's still a bit too strong. It's all up to the GMs though.

 

Name: Chroma the Painter (or just Chroma)

Species: Toa from another Universe

Power/Weapon 1: The Ability of the Paint (ONLY CONTROLS THE PAINT, not elemental control): (Burn, Hardening, Electrocution, Invisibility, Portal Creation, Wind, Stone, Healing, Nausea),

Power/Weapon 2: Weapons/Fighting Style/Attribute (Spiked Fists, Grenades, Bladed Rollerskates, Whip, Telekinesis, Staff, Hammer, Spear, Sword),

Power/Weapon 3: A Secondary for some (Staff, Mind Reading, Army)

Appearance: A normally translucent white Toa. He's made of the same material as other Toa, but has a special property of being translucent white. He is at the height of an average Toa and wields a decorative Avohkii that has no use either way because of his artistic abilities.

Bio: As a Matoran of supposedly no element, he was shunned. However, as an artistic Matoran, he quickly learned how to use paints and colors to make masterpieces that he kept to himself. Somewhere along the lines of his life, he found a Toa Stone and became a Toa. He’s just starting off learning the basics and trying to figure his powers (HE STILL DOESN'T KNOW), before he was whisked away to BIONIFIGHT.

Personality/Other: Male. Quick-witted, intuitive, creative, and intelligent are words to describe him. He loves art with a passion and fighting doesn’t give him an excuse to stop. He’s always testing and experimenting with new things and is always willing to share his ideas.

 

This is a list specifically detailed to his basic forms and describes how his paint powers work.

Paint Armor Shift Gaunlet

This power is so powerful it uses all slots. He is able to transmute himself into paints of the color of his choice by tapping and holding one or more of 9 buttons on his gauntlet. This allows him access to a special fighting style, ability, and even a different personality. However in those forms, he is limited to using paint and color of the choice he makes, and can only choose one form per round. He can also mix colors to create special forms but they must be discovered. He's also a new Toa so he has no fighting experience and must learn how to fight.

THE NINE BASIC FORMS

  • Red: In this form, he has the "Fist Fighter" ability granting red sharp spikes on his fists. His paint has the power of fire, as in his paint is able to create the burning sensation, but doesn't actually burn/set alight. In this form he is battle hungry, brash, and strong, determined, passionate, and romantic.
  • Orange: In this form, he has the "Explosions Expert" ability granting the ability to make rocket-propelled grenades with a 2 meter radius. His paint has the power of metal, as in a layer of his paint on any object has the hardness of metal. He's enthusiastic, easily fascinated, excitable, determined, charismatic, and encouraging.
  • Yellow: In this form, he has the "Fast Feet" ability granting yellow bladed roller skates. His paint has the power of electricity, as in his paint is able to give the sensation of being electrocuted. He's joyful, happy, sociable, and energetic.
  • Green: In this form, he has the "Stealth Soldier" ability, which happens to be the most versatile color of his choices. He has a whip and a staff. His paint has the power of invisibility, his green color becoming transparent like looking at a greenscreen. However, as most greenscreen isn't removed well he has a weird shimmering and green outline. He's enlightened, intelligent, faithful, and defensive.
  • Blue: In this form, he has the "Mind Manipulator" ability, which allows for only telekinesis and mind reading. His paint has the power of portal creation, as in able to create doorways that he and others can access by painting on surfaces. However, the paint must match the size of the object, and there must be at least two openings in order to use. Think of the ability as a like a portal gun. He's trustworthy, loyal, wise, confident, intelligent, faithful, honest. Yet sometimes he can be manipulative.
  • Purple: In this form, he has the "Royal Ruler" ability, which gives him a staff and allows him to create an army of 3 one-foot miniature versions of himself to command. His paint has the power of wind, able to animate paint to blow foes away. He's noble, luxurious, and ambitious, and commanding.
  • Brown: In this form, he has the "Mallet Master" ability, which gives him a hammer. His paint has the power of Stone, as his paint can be made more dense and solid like rock and stone that can be thrown. He's honest, down-to-earth, and firm.
  • White: In this form he is given the "Spear of Healing" ability, which gives him a spear. His paint has the power of Health, as his paint has healing properties that affect cuts and minor wounds. He's good, perfectionist, and bright.
  • Black: In this form he is given the "Sword of Pestilence" ability, which gives him a sword. His paint has the power of Sickness, as his paint has poisonous properties that makes others nauseous and strong concentrations can induce vomiting. In this form he's formal, mysterious, and sometimes dark.

I literally have a Google Sheets made just for listing the colors and certain combinations made. He's even got metallic paints, but doesn't have access to them.

Name: Typhoeus Livyatan, Defender of Eris' Honour, Bride-To-Be of Apophis!

Species: Unique

Power 1: Physiology of the Child of Darkness, Slayer of Kings!: Typhoeus is very, very durable and resilient, and, due to the rituals of Apophis, has a very strong mental shield. Strength and speed expected for something so incredibly large.

Power 2: Kiss of Apophis / Chaos Devour: Due to a dark and horrible ritual involving an industrial-grade eggwhisk and dislocating one's jaw, Typhoeus possesses the ability to consume energy and materiel for the sake of glorifying his master. The energy and materiel must be generated due to the power of some being (for example, a Fe-Toa's constructs or a Laser Vision Rahkshi's lasers), and Typhoeus gains no power from the consumption, asides from a sense of moral superiority. Highly-energised offensives (a Plasma bolt, anything to do with Light, etcetera) are easiest to absorb and can be consumed instantly, but anything with significant mass takes the same amount of time as a Toa's absorption. The “consumption” occurs when powers come in contact with any part of Typhoeus, and is usually accompanied by a cry of “May darkness take you!” or “My nihilism is well-founded”.

Power 3: Jörmungandr's Writhing, the Throes of Entropy: A fancy and thematically appealing name for Kinetics. Typhoeus can control, create, and absorb kinetic energy just as a Toa would control their element. He specialises in charging an object with kinetic energy to induce explosions, and is very skilled in the others uses of this power (especially absorption; there are few things more enjoyable for Typhoeus than absorbing one explosion to make another). Hyperkinetic exertions are usually accompanied by dramatic poses and warcries of “Nine paces, no more!” or “I shall luxate every organ and bone in your body, in the name of the truest beauty!”.

Appearance: Have you ever imagined Predator breeding with a Tyranid Carnifex, the spawn of which mated with Azathoth? Then make it biomechanical. Predator/Tyranid/Azathoth. With the face of Satan and the shoulders of Asmodeus. But robot. We're talking 2.5 bio hunk of inverted-triangle-physique with the aura of Bronson and a body that would make Vitali Klitschko weep. That do anything for you? His mechanical components are the colour of ebony and surround him in a pattern reminiscent of the armour of a Chaos Marine who worships both Khorne and the Dark Lords of GWAR!, and his entire body is covered with subtle serpentine designs and anguine motifs of crimson and charcoal in homage to his master. Strangely enough, he smiles really often, and (assuming you can get over the blood on his skull-spike shoulderpads) is very pleasant to be with.

Bio: Hailing from a world where different species worship different deities and gain their powers from their divine masters, Typhoeus is the result of a manchild who serves his master with the greatest loyalty. Raised and reared in the Temple of Apophis (a God of Chaos remarkably similar to the Egyptian mythological figure), Typhoeus is fanatically (that is, maladjustedly) devoted to the God of Chaos, Darkness, Death, Pain, and That Weird Kitchen Utensil That Keeps The Drawer From Opening. He refuses to accept that there could be anything wrong with believing that a deity devoted to the removal of all order (even down to a molecular level), and views himself as a hero. He has suffered years of dark rituals to grow powerful enough to garner the attention of Apophis, and hopes one day to join him in a holy communion of pain and suffering. Apotheosis to the rank of Dark Bride of the World-Encircler's Assorted-Thoracic-Organ-Throne is his goal, and is unable to even comprehend the possibility that he might not be eligible for the position.

Personality/Other: Typhoeus is beautifully, wonderfully insane. He hopes one day to be the Dark Lady of Chaos and acts only to honour Apophis. Here's a quick little summary; he's the servant of a Dark God of Chaos and Agony who gets very distracted by cute animals and finds it hard to focus in the presence of catchy music. There's little more to be said.

 

I don't think I've ever had such a great time just writing a profile.

I just wanted to marvel in the beauty of Typewriter up there, but I saw the word "despine" and now I have to issue a generic threat about muscling in on my vertebral territory.

 

Also catchy music means I now need him to fight Riss at some point.

Say, what did we ever determine, exactly, about Toa of Iron's ability to generate metals, variety-wise?

 

Are they able to make stuff like, oh, say...

 

Inner transition metals?

It would probably take significantly more EE than one would have available to make enough Plutonium or Uranium to make an explosion, and cancer/radiation poisoning takes a lot longer time than you would have in a round with the amounts you could make.

 

Assuming Inner Transitions are allowed.

You'd basically need, assuming I'm reading this right, over 52 kilos of uranium-235 to create fission.

 

That might be beyond even two Fe-toa.
