Hapori Tohu Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Eric Vespe from Ain't It Cool News is out at the Santa Barbara Film Festival where they held a screening of The LEGO Movie for a group of kids. After the movie, Chris Miller and Phil Lord came out on stage to answer questions. Regarding the upcoming LEGO Movie sequel, they revealed it will be about "Emmet and his sister in a 'weird, dystopian version of Bricksburg'" and that, "the time frame is gonna be a few years after the events of the last movie." I think this is the first we've heard of Emmet's sister, so that's pretty awesome! I wonder if that's an idea they had during the development of the first film, or if it's something they just thought of for the second installment.
