I want to get some of the Dark figures but without a console to play it on there is no point in buying the game outright. So do I dare ask how much Chaos is going for on Ebay? It was released singly, but it was once won on ebay for… you really don't want to know... $160 I am currently bidding on about 13 $10 Kaos traps. I won't go over $20 at the time. I've been trying to get a complete set of Bash myself but to no luck. I have a friend who has a S1 Bash for me but have not been able to get it from him to date. Have not been able to get a S2 Bash for a reasonable price either. Though keeping in mind that some figures like Love Potion Pop Fizz do share an in-game color scheme, others like the gold or silver releases of characters do not and while they may display a "Special" tag when summoned, they look no different than the original in the game. I have such a figure in my collection. The Halloween Pumpkin head release of the Giant Eye Brawl while looking cool in figure form, it does not carry over to the game. So paying an outlandish price has to be weighed based on the value you take from the item in question and your reason behind it. Completest who want every single figure released including extremely rare releases just to say they have them... could pay out the nose to get a Chaos trap. Others like myself have no use for it and wont pay above retail if that. Mind you if I had a mainstream console my story could change drastically. I think I need either a Light or Dark skylander as in one of my levels it has a ? portal. The most Prominent being Spyro of course. While the lovable dragon has always had a dark counterpart to all his releases, they have all been of the magic element same as Spyro himself. Keeping in mind however that I am trying to remember based on a single passing of reading the article. As I cannot seem to find it again, there is no telling exactly how accurate that is. Also the article in question could just be speculation on the writer. As I believe I read it on one of the wikis. This becomes even more plausible as being only speculation. Without finding the page I read it on to verify any truth. Still I don't think if they intended to bring in a new element(2 in fact) they would only stop at 2 characters for each. Adding in that each element has it's own trap there must be villains either in Trap Team or the future release that can be captured within them. Seeing as how I don't ever remember them releasing a figure or power-up prior to the game it was intended to play on(These 2 packs say Trap Team) Unless it was a promotion just before the release. For a prior game in the series it could not be used on. It is safe to say that somewhere in Trap Team there is both a light and dark villain to capture. P.S. Each triple pack comes with a bonus level item so maybe the villain is in those. Still would have to have been coded into the game prior to release or otherwise capable of being patched in. Seeing as how I do not own the mainstream version of the game I cannot speculate on the possibility of DL patches for such content. My favorite skylander (among ones I have) is deffinentaly Chop Chop. With my other favorites being Swarm, Boom Jet, Sprocket, Double Trouble, and Rattle Shake. There is nothing funnier than a little goblin giggling about his massive ammo supply... Course there is Countdown...though he reminds me a little to much of a TF character I made up years ago... For example I have a pirate ship that came with an adventure pack that also had Terrafin and a spiked catapult. The ship opened an extra zone/level(s) in my Giants game, however in Swap Force and Trap Team it becomes just a power-up that shoots cannon balls on the screen. Because I have several of the extra levels as does a friend whom has the console version of the games. I've never played Spyro adventures, only from Giants onwards. So I do not know on that. What I do know is the levels that worked in Giants and Swap force specifically, do not work in later games as more than just a power-up.
