Interactive Window Debuts at Chicago Lego Store

Recommended Posts

Today, the Lego store in Chicago, Illinois will be debuting an interactive window that uses a motion-sensing camera to convert audience members into the minifig star of a game. Similar to motion-sensing hardware like the Xbox Kinect, players will be able to control their minifig avatar with their own physical movements. Download a screenshot, or click through to see it and read the accompanying press release.

The Kinect is really interesting software. That would be an intriguing thing to experience firsthand, assuming a LEGO store near me gets one. Also I'd probably look really stupid in it.

Well, the motion technology they used is something similar to the Kinect, not the Kinect itself.Looks pretty cool. They probably could improve the technology a little more to mimic facial movements.
