Need some help removing a pin

Hey, guys! So I've got a little predicament that I need some help with.
A while ago, I took apart all my Protectors to build some mocs. Over the last few days, I've been putting them back together. I ran into a problem when I was assembling the Protector of Earth.
I put a blue pin into his crystal shield, but it will not come out.
Here's a picture of it.

Are there any ways of removing it? Simply pulling it doesn't work, or at least at my level of dexterity.

Well, the easiest method would be to use your teeth to pull, but you run the risk of damaging the pin.

I would recommend finding a thin, sturdy object to stick in the holes surrounding the pin, then use it as a lever to push it out.

Thanks guys! I went with the toothpick idea, since every blue pin has a special place in my heart, so I wouldn't dare hurt my babies. ( :P)

But yes, it's out now.

If you get a pin/axle stuck in something else, try attaching the pin to something with a pinhole, like a lever, and something with a clip beam, like a lightsaber blade. Then pull on both of them. The combined friction should be enough to get the pin/axle out.

Ah yikes, good thing you solved that. o:

my younger brother got a red 2m pin stuck in one of those, and i couldn't get it out at all (it's still in there!)

so i guess this confirms my suspicions the morning-star head piece has a tough grip on pins?

(i dunno, anyone else have this particular issue?)

Usually I just find another pin to push on the stuck pin and get it out. Same works for axles.

This one looks like that technique wouldn't work, though. You can try attaching it to a Technic beam for leverage and yank them apart. I'd try that before resorting to the Leatherman bottle opener.

I'd suggest putting a long, loose fitting, similar pin through the other end, it forces it out and gives you simpler solution,

I know how to pull it out but it maybe "WAY TOO HARD" to do, all you need to do, is use your teeth and pull it out or get a nail clippers and use that to pull it out...            also I'm pretty sure you don't give one  :madgo: :music: :onfire::censored: if the pin get a small cut because we just going to have ♪♫Too Many Pins♪♫

Yes, on two counts, resolved with levering it out from four points each time.

I have used my teeth carefully in similar situations in the past, but yeah the Tr. Kl.Bl.Vio Half Spike Ball does seem to have this issue more often than most other Bionicle pieces... Thankfully it's a relatively straightforward fix in the most cases.

Needle-nose pliers work amazingly for things like this. The tips are sufficiently small that you can partly insert one into the center of the pin to grasp it on one side and pull it out.

... I'm a bit surprised and repulsed people are actually suggesting using your teeth.
