INTRODUCTION

Bionifight

Bionifight 2: Madness Returns!

Bionifight 3: Madness Returns Again!

Bionifight 4: Hyper Fighting

Bionifight Ultimate

Bionifight Ultimate: Drift Force

Bionifight Infinite

Seven games over the course of seven years. Here we come to the final chapter, the final instalment. A special occasion designed to be the shortest and fastest of the series, highlighting a single new concept that builds upon the Bionifight of old. This is the final chapter - the last horizon.

Bionifight: Last Horizon

This is it. This is the final instalment of the Bionifight series that I shall host, and for now, it shall be the final instalment of them all. While Infinite will continue to run for the next several months if all goes well, Last Horizon shall be the last new game in the series. I hope you enjoy.

And if you have never played any of the others… do not worry. You will be able to fit right in.

LAST HORIZON

The rounds in this game are structured over the course of two weeks. The first week will be a Free For All match, pitting every fighter against each other; the second week will be a team boss battle known as the “Last Horizon”.

During the Free For All round, players can earn points; one point is given for every point of damage a fighter deals, and five points are given for a KO. Players MUST keep track of their points and HP in every post. During the Last Horizon, the players will battle alongside their respective boss (either the Host or the Queen) in an attempt to KO the other team’s boss.

The highest scoring players on each team from the previous round will play as their team’s boss; each boss will start with health points equal to the number of points their team managed to accumulate the previous round.

During the Free For All round, each player will have one free 5-HP respawn the first time they are KO’d. During the Last Horizon, there are no respawns. Each player starts the round with 20-HP.

PROFILE SHEET

To join, simply fill out the profile sheet below! There is not a limit to how many players can join; however, there is only one fighter per player.

Name: [Character’s name]

Species: [Character’s species or race]

Power/Weapon 1: [A power, elemental or otherwise - or a weapon/tool]

Power/Weapon 2: [Another power or weapon/tool]

Power/Weapon 3: [Another power or weapon/tool]

Appearance: [What does your character look like?]

*A quick reminder that every player will begin each round with 20 health. Cheating regarding the amount of health you have will not be tolerated.*

BOSS PROFILES

Your character shall be assigned to work for one of these two characters by myself, so that I can make sure that the teams are as even in numbers as possible.

Name: The Host

Species: Unknown

Power/Weapon 1: Teleportation of himself and others.

Power/Weapon 2: Telekinesis, including levitation by telekinetically lifting himself.

Power/Weapon 3: Mimicry. The Host can copy one other power at any point; in order to copy a new power, he must lose the old one.

Appearance: Physically imposing, standing above most fighters, the Host is clad in regal red and gold over black. He wears a dark decorative cloak, with a hood that hides his face, but does not muffle his booming voice.

Character Name: The Queen

Species: Unknown

Power/Weapon 1: A golden trident that can be summoned back to the user.

Power/Weapon 2: Elemental Control over Psionics

Power/Weapon 3: Accuracy - this power is always active at a low level, giving the Queen slightly better accuracy than most beings; however, when focused upon, it becomes impossible for her to miss her target.

Appearance: Like the Host, the Queen stands over most fighters. Her armor is a mixture of light blue and gold, with silver and gunmetal accents. She carries a lightweight golden trident, and her armor often shimmers, giving her the appearance of being underwater.

RULES

1. BZP rules apply, of course

2. No god-modding (avoiding/dodging/countering all attacks, never taking damage, dealing insane hits, etc.)

3. Do not control other player characters without their permission

4. Use the tag “IC” when posting in character, and “OOC” when speaking out of character.

5. Keep things fair - it doesn’t matter what your powers are. If I believe that you are not following this, the harsh judgement of the PIG shall fall upon you (with a handy explanation of what you have done wrong).

5. Have fun or you shall be fed to Xaeraz. This is always the fifth rule, even if it’s not.

Name: 0579

Species: Okotoan

Power 1: Golden Mask of Water: 0579 wears a replica of Master Gali’s mask, granting him Elemental Power over Water.

Power 2: Ethereal Blade Generator: A small metal emblem attached to 0579’s chest that enables the creation and control of blades made of solid, non-elemental energy.  The more Ethereal Blades created, the more concentration is required.  This item’s powers can also be combined with those of 0579’s mask, allowing him to create Water Blades.

Power 3: Dialga’s Spires: Four diamond spikes, two jutting out from each shoulder.  These allow 0579 to stop time for one selected target for about 10 seconds (5 seconds if targeting a player), and then must take around 30 seconds to recharge.

Appearance: Gold and black armor with a design similar to that of the Mask Makers and a black cape.  Wears the Golden Mask of Water, has two diamond spikes on each shoulder, and has the Ethereal Keyblade Generator on his chest.

Name: Elly

Species: Toa?

Power/Weapon 1/2: A large sword with an intricate pattern on it, which has been modified to fire crossbow bolts from the 'top' of the sword using a trigger. The size has been made to fit her, and be more efficiently wielded.

Power/Weapon 2: An intricately patterned shield

Appearance: Larger than most Toa, Elly wears specially made armour to fit her, which tends to be white and blue. Her mask seems to be a Great Mask of Shielding, shaped like it would be in Metru Nui; however, she never seems to use it. In fact, she never seems to use any powers, and it is questioned a lot whether she even has any powers.

Name: Bastigan

Species: Toa-like

Power/Weapon 1: Moderate general durability/resistance. Bastigan is extremely resilient, far more than a normal being of his size and stature should be. This is a power based in means of energy or spirit, rather than physical armor.

Power/Weapon 2: Instantaneous teleportation. Only works short-range or via line-of-sight.

Power/Weapon 3: A shotgun. It is crafted from a special exsidian-based alloy that causes it to be immune to manipulation via powers in the vein of iron or magnetism. Bastigan's kept this weapon with him for a very long time, and it's proven almost as sturdy as he is. Due to some time-space shenanigans, Bast's gun doesn't need to be reloaded; it automatically reloads itself. From hammerspace.

Appearance: Bastigan is a somewhat thin being approximately the height of an average Toa, clad in armor of silver and dark green, with bright orange accents on the shoulders, wrists, and knees. His mask, a slightly lighter shade of green than the rest of his armor, is shaped more like a helmet than a common Kanohi; it is somewhat boxy (vaguely triangular if viewed from the top), with a black visor resembling that of a Kaukau hiding his eyes.

Personality: A happy-go-lucky guy in spite of experience that would make most closed-off and cold, Bastigan has given up on taking life seriously, adopting an absurdist standpoint that allows him to be outwardly optimistic, polite, and generally positive even in the midst of conflict. At times, Bastigan seems to have some otherworldly nature about him, due to being so seemingly unfazed by violence. The flip side of his perpetually upbeat and unaffected persona is that he seems to lack the ability to make real personal connections, instead treating basically everyone just the same.

yeah yeah personality's totally unnecessary

and I know it's odd that I of all people would include personality when I don't need to

let's hope I have time for this because I can't even say how much I hope I'm able to play this to the fullest

IC: Zakaro (HP: 20/20, Pts: 0)

"LET'S GET THINGS STAAARRRTTTEEDDD!"

With a whoop of joy, Zakaro proceeded to slam his phone pole into the ground, causing an earthquake that would affect pretty much everyone because hey, everyone just looked kinda confused and lost, gotta start somewhere!

IC: Miras

HP: 20

With a leap aided by a self-created weight loss, I avoid the earthquake, landing back down on the volcanic soil. Dodging multiple bursts of lava thrown up by the tremor, I create a patch of shadows near the Toa, shadow-walk over to the instigator and send a blade of shadows at his throat.

With a grin, Bastigan glanced up to see Zakaro creating an earthquake. He teleported himself into the air to dodge the tremor, and allowed himself to fall for a few seconds before teleporting safely back down. He would wait for the enemy to come to him.

IC: Zakaro (HP: 20/20, Pts: 0)

Reacting instantly, the Onu-Toa ducks downwards and allows the blade to fly over his head, before swinging his massive weapon at his opponent. Without missing a beat, if he missed he planned to continue the swing alll the way around, making it very possible that if

Miras tried to get behind him, he'd be greeted by one very heavy corded phone pole.

IC: Rekhhur

HP: 20

AP: 0

Rekhhur grins as he sees the Onu-Toa bring his unorthodox weapon down and waits until the precise moment. The ground under his feet breaks, and the Mutilator leaps to the side, lashing out with his tentacles. If all goes as planned, the tentacles will ensnare the pole and hopefully wrench it from the Toa's grip.

"Oh dear." Bastigan rolled his eyes as the ground shuddered again. He kept an eye on the summit for impending lava flows, teleporting slightly closer to Charlinia.

IC: Unit [20/20] [0]

The earthquake caught Unit by surprise, knocking him off his feet. He rolled as he fell and got back up almost immediately. Scanning the area, he noticed several fighters attacking Zakaro and figured he had been the source of the quake. A flash of light caught his eye. He spun around to see Charlinia pouring lava into the volcano. Not really wanting an eruption to occur at the moment, he send a stream of sound at her, trying to break her concentration before she could cause too much damage.

IC: Zakaro (HP: 20/20, Pts: 0)

As his phone pole apparently whips around and gets caught by some tentacles, Zakaro staggers for a second, off balance, before wrenching at his weapon, trying to remove the log from the grasp of the other fighter. This however distracted him from Luroka's attack, which sliced across his legs, earning Luroka the first of the many points. (-1 HP, 19/20, 1 Pt. to Luroka)

With an angry growl, Zakaro pulled back, deciding that this strange sea-creature could either let go or be brought along for the ride, and swung towards Luroka, trying to catapult the Mutilator at the Makuta.

Bastigan/20/0

Bastigan watched as a sonic blast was launched at Charlinia. Best not to attack Unit, then, he thought. Charlinia was a primary target considering their environment, and the enemy of Bastigan's enemy was at the top of Bastigan's list of people not to kill.

Turning his attention elsewhere, Bastigan saw a cluster of fighters surrounding Zakaro. He wasn't exactly happy about being earthquaked, of course, but it was no fun if the Toa of Earth was ganged up on so early.

Narrowing his eyes and raising his shotgun, Bastigan teleported towards Rekhhur, ending up behind the sea-beast. Stepping backwards to preemptively get out of range of any retaliation, he fired two blasts at the back of Zak's attacker.

Bastigan teleported again, this time to the side of where he expected Rekhhur would collide with Ferronox, firing a series of blasts right at the two fighters.

"Whoa!" Bastigan teleported laterally, dodging the water blast, and firing again to taunt Rekhhur. He knew Zakaro or Ferronox would attack the sea-beast from behind if he focused solely on Bastigan, and counting on this fact, Bast began to back away down the mountain, checking over his shoulder to make sure he wouldn't be ambushed by Charlinia, Unit, or any of the other fighters.

IC: Rekhhur

HP: 19

AP: 0

Growling, Rekhhur ducks under the shots and starts to follow Bast, but stops after a few steps. His powers are useless unless he can get close to the fighter - unless Bast comes close enough on his own, Rekhhur decides not to go out of his way to damage him. With that, the Mutilator charges at Unit, slicing upward with the blade on the left arm.
