First things first, the Nuva masks share powers. All Tahu had to do was walk next to Onua or anyone else with a Pakari and he would have been fine.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you confused Tahu's Pakari for his Suva. Tahu would be the one not needing to carry a Suva, since his was destroyed when Ta-Koro was. And I mentioned the mask-sharing just a few words before the part you bolded.

 

Second, the Turaga DID hide the masks. Sure, they may have done it as Toa, shortly before awakening all the Matoran, but we know they hid them.

Um... again it looks like you misunderstood me. I was talking about the "where only a Toa could reach" as the rest of that quote makes crystal clear (I'd think? ). I'm well aware more than most that the Turaga hid the masks because it was my theory, posted on BZPower, before we heard the confirmation and it was awesome to find out I'd been right -- one of the least likely things I could forget.

On another note, how the heck did I miss the bit about Tahu's Suva getting destroyed? After thinking about it, perhaps the Matoran made him another when they got back to Metru nui, figuring he might one day have a use for it again.

I agree with Prowl. This is going to attract all the wrong sort of attention to this otherwise excellent topic and I'd really rather that didn't happen. PLEASE do not respond to this oddly placed statement as it has zero bearing on what's being discussed here. I'm finding it very hard not to repsond myself but must lead by example
