Prowl Nightwolf Posted April 5, 2015 Share Posted April 5, 2015 I dug out some of my old collection of Bionicle from waaay back in '01 and decided today would be as good a day as any to make a video of them. The Video is short, only about a minute but it showcases most of my collection as it stands. Hope you like it and Happy Easter to everyone here on BZP from my Bionicle collection. I wanted it to be longer but I accidently hit the complete button during filming. Questions and comments are welcome and desired. Naota Takizawa Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Hey, Prowl, sorry if this seems negative, but this animation looked very choppy to me, it looks like you skipped a few frames when animating this video. Prowl Nightwolf Posted April 10, 2015 Author Share Posted April 10, 2015 Yeah I am working off the Stop Motion app on my 3DS it doesn't really have the option of sound or between frame edits. Each Video has to be filmed in one session as I cannot go back over a video to change or reorder frames. So no transitional frames. As cool as they would look. It is far from professional to be sure. Doing the best I can with the tech I have access to. Thanks for the Post Liuth. Do you mind if I ask where within the video you think this missing frames are? Naota Takizawa Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 To be more accurate, the animation isn't missing frames, I'd say it doesn't have enough frames, which makes the motion look a bit choppy. Prowl Nightwolf Posted April 14, 2015 Author Share Posted April 14, 2015 Yeah I think I can see what you mean. It appears it was not one of my best attempts at a stop motion. Incase anyone is wondering, the 3DS films at 10fps. So no mater how good I am, it is possible some "Choppy" frames may still happen. But I am learning. Thanks for your comment again Liuth.
