Hapori Tohu
Today during Star Wars Celebration, LEGO has revealed the next Star Wars constraction set coming out later this year. Clone Commander Cody can be seen in 360 degrees in the short video on Twitter, which is awesome. While I like that the back of the torso is filled in, the back of the legs really breaks the feel of the character. I like some of the new armor pieces though and am interested to see if those are stickers or printed parts. I can't wait to see the final figure soon! dviddy
Those orange shoulder pads... I need that part in my life.
Tenuk
These remind me of those Technic Star War's action figures from the early 2000's. Quote Don't Click It
Rooster Nui
There's a nice assortment of pieces, but as a completed model, I don't quite like it. However, a lot of kids will, and that's the main thing.
Xan
Oh that looks nice. You could remake order 66. (Sees back) Oh no....
Munty
Yuck... It doesn't look awful from the front (probably better than Obi Wan and his plasteel tunic) but every other angle is just horrible. I wasn't expecting human sets to work in CCBS and they certainly aren't so far! Jobber
Why Lego, why?! Why must you keep taking my money?! GAH!!! Be that as it may, I'm definitely going get all of these, except for Anakin sadly. Probably not all at once, though due to cost.
Rahkshi Lalonde
loks fine from just about all angles to me. o: maybe it looks worse ocmpared to the source material? idk, i haven't seen SW in a while. :

Mr. Cup of Fail
Wow, Commander Cody is just about the best one out of all of them, only that he doesn't have anything on the back of the legs like the others and I'm pretty sure that armor piece is printed like the chest and head. Also it would had been good to see those hands in orange or maybe printed hands would be new. Ghidora131
I hope we get a Jango Fett as the final build, and then a Boba Fett later on. Anyways, the only complaint is the helmet. How is it constructed? Hollow? solid? what is the weight? and most importantly, does it take more than one part to attach to the torso? Hopefully we can get some answers soon, but I guess LEGO liked that one CUUSOO project after all.
PDPsi HAN
Shame his legs aren't covered from the back like Obi Wan. 1 Quote AΨ
J46 Nui
I am definitely planning on getting the whole wave, but Cody is the figure I am the least excited for. He just seems kind of plain when compared to any of the other figures revealed so far. Mr. Cup of Fail
Indeed, plus we are getting new armor from those, just like Chima 2014... only that they're not licensed theme. Lyichir
https://twitter.com/LEGO_Group/status/589491220881117184 Jango has a new shade of blue!! Looks like Sand Blue. This is its debut in CCBS, which should please Matoro fans. And the new shoulders and leg shells should be nice in Silver Metallic. Otherwise not too fussed about the figure. Even moreso than Cody, it's clear that corners had to be cut to make the figure available at the lowest price point. It's not awful as figures go, but nowhere near as extraordinary as Obi-Wan or Vader. doodleloot
I'm really liking these so far. Not so sure about Grievous yet but Cody and Obi Wan sure look cool. The new parts look super useful too, both the new molds and recolors. Quote Hail Denmark
Munty
Jango doesn't look too bad surprisingly, he has almost enough armour to cover all the tricky joints that are typical of CCBS. The legs look a little slight in my opinion and could probably do with being a little larger than they are. something another shell or two on the back would no doubt have solved. The jetpack does a good job of filling in his back but brings attention to his legs even more which is not a particularly good thing. I came across the Skywalker figures today for the first time and holy carp wth is up with Luke? It;s possibly one of the ugliest constraction figures I've ever seen, give me HF any day! It's almost verging on Galidor territory (except Galidor didn't have all those huge hideous gaps where the limbs join so I guess it's actually worse...) Vader on the other hand is a thing of beauty and I can feel myself being tempted to add this to my Autumn wishlist along with Grievous. Shame they're from different eras, they probably won't display together very well but hey ho, nice pieces all the same! Toa Smoke Monster
If it weren't for the back of his legs, I would say that Cody here looks like an amazing set. And he does if you are looking at the front of him. He looks exactly like he did in Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars. But turning him around reveals his back of his legs, which really looks bad IMO. But at least his back has armor, so I guess that's something. Mr. Cup of Fail
Well you can just get another Obi-Wan for Cody legs TSM. To Munty: You do know your on the Cody Ultrabuild topic right Anyway I agree with you about Luke, but he's a lot better then Darth Vader, I mean it would had been way better if LEGO used the clone body armor then using a 2.0 body armor and Ultrabuild chest armor. Mr. Cup of Fail
I have always called it ultrabuild, it's a better name then CCBS which I find it a dumb name (because everything is CCBS just look at 2001). Perhaps I should take a proper look at the Vader set but from what I've seen I can't imagine how anyone could possibly think Luke is better than Vader! It was used in the retailer's catalogs for the 2012 LEGO Super Heroes constraction sets, though I don't know if it's ever been used officially outside of that. Generally "constraction" or "buildable figures" will suffice. The Star Wars ones specifically were described in the original press release as "LEGO Star Wars Battle Figures". FLYING ROBOT MANATEE
I'm really imprssed with the constraction version of general grievous' build. I'm not a fan of star wars, but that set has a very awesome build which leaves much to be desired out of the summer 2015 bionicle sets when it comes to build/complexity. Thanks for the clarification. I'm familiar with the term constraction of course but that's really more of a blanket term as it covers several different construction methods. Wondered if ultrabuild might be a new 'family-friendly' reatailers term like 'adrenaline mode' Quote Check out my Bionicle store on Bricklink here!> > > Bionic Bricks < < < Let me know if you can help me find these last few collectibles! Also looking for WILD KRAATA and a VMKK Yo!!!
