Hapori Tohu Posted September 20, 2011 Share Posted September 20, 2011 LEGO has had their augmented reality kiosks in their stores for a while now, allowing a small number of sets to be experienced through a computer screen when the box was held up to it. Now they have gone a step further and added in gesture recognition, which allows one to scoop up the set and hold the digital version in the palm of the hand. The latest software also now has a full database of every set available, <a href='http://www.geek.com/articles/gadgets/lego-demos-augmented-reality-boxes-with-gesture-recognition-20110919/' target='offsite'>Geek.com reports</a> (with a video) and recommends trying it out the next time you visit a LEGO store.
