Bionicle Character You Didn't Want To Die

Recommended Posts

Which character did you not want to have die? Mine would be Carapar, 'cause he had an intriguing past.

Why are orange and black such a good color Combination ? Purple is pretty, and so is blue. Pink hurts your eyes, green is quite mellowing, black is very threatning, red is cool, orange is SO awesome, yellow's hard to read... But you can't see white at all! Oh, wait. I forgot brown.

Here's my thoughts: If a person tells the truth and says, " I always lie," Is he lying? Or is he telling the truth? And what has a mouth, but no head, and a body, but no torso? Do caterpillars like to tend to supporting colum of stone's every need? Or is that name misleading by nature? Speaking of nature, why are the children of animals called offspring? don't many young beasts come alive in spring, and thus, should be called onspring? Heeeeeeyy..... I got the first post on a page for the first time. Who knows; it may happen again. What the... It did happen again... and again...

YEAH! I'M ENCOUNTERING PROTODERMIS!

I found the death of all the Karda Nui Makuta to be unfortunate, especially for Krika. It would have been interesting had one or two escaped ...Also Botar. I felt that his death was completely unneeded.

The only characters I care about are the 2001-2003 ones and the Piraka so I don't know. None of the deaths mattered to me in anyway since I don't really follow the story. I find it strange how so many people cared when Matoro died. The guy never really did anything up to that point.

Teridax. I was sad to see our beloved villian of nearly 10 years go like that. The death of Matoro I thought was a good thing, though. I think that Bionicle needed to kill of a few more major good guys in heroic ways. -don't touch my pocket protector

The deaths of Nidhiki and Krekka always irked me, mainly because it was just a convenient way to work a combiner model into the story while practically eliminating all potential for character development. The end result was that they ended up seeming more like two-dimensional thugs than anything else, though Birth of a Dark Hunter did (somewhat) redeem them as characters.

Carapar. He was my favorite Barraki, and I really liked how his set looked.I also wished that some of the Karda Nui Makuta would've survived. A lot of them (particually Krika, Icarax, and a couple others) had really cool potienal for future storylines. But now their dead. :(

Matoro. Being honest I never wanted to see Matoro be a Toa, or Nuparu, or Hewkii, or Kongu. Jaller and Hahli I'm fine with for some reason though. Krika was also a death too soon, and Zaktaan. Both knew things, and both were unfortunately killed before they could say anything interesting.

Krika and Terry. Also, Nocturn and Gadunka never died.

Yes they did.Nocturn was killed trying to avoid recapture.Gadunka was shrunken back to a normal size and then eaten.

Probably...Lihkan. Even though he was thousands of years old, and a Turaga on his last leg, he should have stuck around. (But Skarloth, then Vakama wouldn't have been as motivated to fight 'the' Makuta! He would have gone in and he might have lost!)I don't think Lihkan's death could be justified. Well, he did save Vakama's life... perhaps that partially makes up for it.Another one that could have lived in Karzanhi, I actually liked him as a character, he was just lost, jealous (makuta, anyone?) and to top it off, he actually tried to help Matoran in the early days of his island. Then he went crazy and evil and such, and trapped Matoran... but he was an awesome villain and he should have lived.-Skar

Icarax and Zaktan. But they both did anyway XDI also miss the rest of the Brotherhood. Or at least, I wish they had not gotten killed off so quickly. Such interesting characters...I had been looking forward to more about them, and then they all got killed off. Sigh.

I dunno, towards the end a lot of characters seemed to get killed off quite a lot. The serials seemed to just be ways to pick off characters from the past.I guess Zaktan and the other Piraka are characters I would've liked to see more of. Of course, part of the problem is that they were also transformed into snakes, which made them pretty useless after that, but still, those were some of the best villian characters Bionicle ever had, IMO.:music:

Oh, where to begin.I think I'll start with the 2008 Makuta. Such interesting characters(specifically Krika, Mutran and Icarax) that were all "oh hey now you see us now you don't". Guh. It felt so cheap.Teridax is another one. I think he deserved a better death than just a moon(or rather, a fragment of one) to the back of the head.I also think Botar was a terrible excuse just to kill someone. It was all "oh cool I'm in the story oh wait no I'm not".Nidhiki and Krekka also felt cheap. Nidhiki was an intriguing character that deserved more than what he got, and I think Krekka had more potential than he was given credit for.Guardian and Ancient both seemed like excuses to kill off someone. Ancient had good potential and Guardian was just a Dark Hunter that had no real reason to die.Zaktan is up there, too. Of course, he was just a fish head so he couldn't really do much anyway. Then there is Karzahni. I think he had potential.Tren Krom is another. I mean, this being of pure power is finally set free of his bonds. And then he gets killed. Wow. That was meaningful.I think in the end, I think I would like to have the 2008 Makuta stay alive most. I think it would have been interesting to see their personalities for longer than half a year.

Actually, Nocturn was captured, and then he tried to escape again and then he got killed.Hasn't anyone thought Hydraxon? I know, he was introduced after he died, and the point was for Dekar to transform into a new Hydraxon, but still. It would've been so much cooler if it had been the real Hydraxon fighting in the Pit, not a duplicate who was really a Matoran.Does Tuyet count? I know, she didn't die, but we thought so for years. First, we're given a wonderful story about an "evil" female Toa. Then, suddenly, she's killed and we don't even get to know how.

Osaatko lukea tämän?

Matoro. A strong character, to be honest. Also, the Karda-Nui Makuta dying wasn't very nice, either. =/

On the day the wall came down / They threw the locks onto the ground

And with glasses high / We raised a cry / For freedom had arrived

On the day the wall came down / The ship of fools had finally run aground

Promises lit up the night / Like paper doves in flight

I dreamed you had left my side / No warmth, not even pride remained

And even though you needed me / It was clear that I could not do a thing for you

Now life devalues day by day / As friends and neighbors turn away

And there's a change that even with regret / Cannot be undone

Now frontiers shift like desert sands / While nations wash their bloodied hands

Of loyalty, of history / In shades of grey

I woke to the sound of drums / The music played, the morning sun streamed in

I turned and I looked at you / And all but the bitter residues slipped away

slipped away...

Carapar was an interesting character, and one of my favorite sets, Icarax was my favorite Makuta, and Krika was the one villain who I felt had a chance for redemption. It would have been very interesting if he lived through RoS. As well, I thought that killing Karzahni, Botar, and Tren Krom was pointless.-Star

Zaktan was a great character, and it would have been nice to see more of him, but getting him out of the picture gave us the Skakdi Fusion, which is some consolation.Another thought, how could the 2008 Makuta be trapped by a storm when they had teleportation powers? It isn't like they had no way out. So was it something to do with the shields around Karda Nui or did they just not use them for some reason?

The Karda Nui shields blocked most powers since the inside was both vital to Mata Nui and extremely dangerous to anyone else. So yes, teleportation got was blocked, and that's why the Makuta couldn't even find the place until Vultraz discovered the entrance. Artahka is the only being we have seen that can teleport through the shield. It might even have been one-way, as he did not simply "pop in" to save the Toa, but that's more likely to be due to his rather strange and isolationist nature (or he was busy with locating Teridax at the time).

Would have been extremely interesting for Krika to have been alive during Teridax's rule, but it wouldn't make sense for Teridax to keep him alive. Otherwise Tren Krom, I was kind of indifferent to him as a character at first, but I really liked the way he acted after reading Lariska's mind. Was turning into a cool character.

Also, yeah, it just occurred to me about Nidhiki. His death was sad, as well as Icarax's. Killing off characters is never cool. =[

Wait, Gadunka was eaten? I must have missed Nocturn, I thought Hydraxon had simply apprehended him. But Gadunka? I don't think he was eaten.
