Hapori Tohu Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 A forum member over on Eurobricks made an interesting discovery on the back of the instruction manual for a 2015 set (60097 City Square). It's an ad for an upcoming videogame by TT Games and Warner Bros. Interactive titled simply, "LEGO WORLDS," with the tagline, 'explore, discover, create.' The illustration hints at an environment created entirely out of LEGO, with some desert elements as well as a City excavator. One popular theory is that this is the LEGO version of a Minecraft open-world game. The website printed in the ad doesn't work yet, so we'll have to wait to hear more information about this game! It's really Minecraft power with exploration and building in-game, via an interface similar to that of LDD." I really like playing Minecraft, and the Lego Universe properties were really fun too, so now I'm really excited for this game! A little disappointed that Lego Dimensions isn't the game that's going to be the sandbox-building game I've been waiting for since LU ended, but I'm glad we're getting a game like this at all.
