I'm 19 and taking online collage. Don't have to do jack with my collection.   :camera:  :glasses:

My wife and I are in the process of building a new house--we've got plans for several sets of dedicated shelves for display, plus a few feature walls for posters and such. :) The current plan is to hang onto them forever, though the canisters and boxes can be a challenge to store at times.

During college they predominantly stayed at my parent's house, with careful instructions from me not to toss them. ;)

Well, just last Friday, I sold my G1 parts to a nice guy from two towns over, as I don't build G1 style MOCs anymore.

However, I've kept my favourite G1 sets and MOCs (of which there's quite few), along with quite a large variety of armour and weapon pieces that I can use with my CCBS-based MOCs without stepping to far out of the G2 aesthetic. Oh and of course, I kept all of my masks and helmets, along with all of my Metru, Mata and Glatorian heads.

The G1 sets I've kept are currently standing around on a shelf, but soon I might bag them up disassembled individually, download the manuals for all of them, and keep them stored for safe-keeping. Then, whenever I have the urge to put one together, I can just grab their bag and get stuck in :3

List of the G1 models I've kept:

  • Slizer Flare
  • A gaggle of custom Slizers
  • Roboriders Power, Onyx, Lava and Dust
  • Tahu, Gali and Kopaka Mata
  • Mata version of my self-MOC, Toa Araun
  • Turaga Vakama
  • McToran Hewkii
  • The Tarakava
  • Gahlok, Pahrak, Korahk and Tahnok
  • 3 copies of Bordahk
  • Zadahk (with Bitil's weapons as I lost the Zadahk staffs)
  • Toa Vakama Metru
  • Lego Sports miniature hockey player
  • Defilak
  • Maxilos and Spinax
  • A heavily modded Hahli Mahri
  • Kiina

I'll also likely be buying a few more sets soon.

I'll probably put most of (if not all) my old sets and pieces in boxes and store them away someday, until I have kids and show them what my generation had to play with in that day...

and then the cycle will begin again... hopefully.

Most of the older G1 sets I have taken apart for various reasons, but some of the my favorites ares still stored away in a tub in my closet. My room is filled with my other collectibles and right now, the G2 Toa and Kulta are on a shelf.

That sounds like a pretty poor use of your Bionicles. :u

You have no idea how many bulk pieces it takes to build one.

I'll have my favorites displayed hopefully. I would love to keep them for my kids and show them what my childhood was like back in the day. Maybe my Bionicles will inevitably make my children into artists as it did for me.

I'll probably be building MoCs until the day I die, so getting rid of my parts isn't an option.

I'm generally pretty open about my hobbies with friends and family, and if my parents cared at all about me still getting them, they aren't showing it, mostly because they know that there's a lot of other worse things I could be doing with my time. I've spent enough of my life dealing with jerks as it is; if people can't accept what I do, then I don't have to socialise with them.
