Decent review.

 

I think you missed the point of the "golden ice-cream ammo". While that part has been used for an ice cream swirl, in this set, they represent acorns—specifically, acorns for the temperamental Miss Spry to fling at unwanted visitors like Farran.

 

Also, the transparent tile in Farran's hand is actually meant to represent his earth magic. All the Elves use those parts to represent glowing magical energy.
