While the post wouldn't be for people showing great expertise at building with LEGO or for people especially knowledgeable in the history of everyone's favorite toy company, a Professorship of Play in Education, Development and Learning sounds great in its own right. BBC reports it's been sponsored with GBP 2.5 million, hence its name of a LEGO Professorship. LEGO has also provided GBP 1.5 million to support a play research center in the education faculty, to be led by the LEGO professor.
