I wanted to create a more rough looking Takunuva. As if he's been traveling for decades across Spherus Magna in search of the Great Beings. While also avoiding the crummy 06 build as much as possible. (No offense) just making it like a Bionicle 1.5, as if transitioning between generations.

I like how the forward armor sort of slopes downward on the chest and lower torso, it's a nice variation from the typical armor that we see on so many other MOCs. Great job!

This looks really good! The only thing that I would change would be putting in more white, since I only see like 8 white pieces. I like the silver G1 aesthetic a lot, but I kinda miss the signature Takanuva white.

The fact that you have a gold mask of light makes me a bit jealous (once had that and a translucent gold but they went poof), but he looks a bit weird from the chest down. Also, what's with all the yellow? I thought he was white with a metallic color. And can I ask: what's with the gears on his hands?

The gears were coverings, as one would wear armor on the back of their hands. I put less white so it doesn't look as much like a toa of ice.

 

Also I thought having a gold MoL was common?

That what I meant. Silver comes in two sets (Teridax, Takanuva Stars), one of which has two in it.
