What happened to Mimic's companion?

If I remember correctly, Mimic's companion was imprisoned in Odina and has remained there since her capture. After Teridax took control and he sent the rahkshi to the dark hunter's fortress, it's likely that she is either still trapped in the rubble or killed. Does anyone have any idea of what happened to her after the destruction?

To quote Greg when he was still on BZPower and I asked him if Mimic's friend was still alive:

I specifically remember him saying this, but I can't provide a source or anything because it was probably around 2007 when I asked him and the old Greg thread is long gone.

 

Anyway. I think Greg kept a lot of those Dark Hunters' stories open-ended so he had the option to revisit them in future story. Also keep in mind that Mimic's backstory was written largely by a fan, so neither Greg nor LEGO as a whole had much to do with it, though they ultimately had final say on where it would end up.

 

And one shouldn't automatically assume she's trapped or dead. She could have escaped during the destruction of the fortress. The walls of her cell falling plus an attack distracting her guards both factor into a possible escape.

There is a possibility that she could escape, but the rahkshi could've gotten her or died in a different way while looking for Mimic and considering he was always stationed far away from Odina to prevent discovery, it's unlikely she would've been able to track him down.

I believe it was confirmed that she survived. Mimic is still trying to find her among the thousands of other MU inhabitants as they spread out on Spherus Magna. That's all we know.

I remember someone asking Greg about it, and I'm pretty sure that was the answer. Or, it could have been that she's still locked away, and since TSO is the only other one who really knew about her imprisonment (and he's not gonna save her), she's stuck in there until they start tearing the GSR apart. Most likely will be dead by then.

 

But that still doesn't mean that Mimic isn't searching for her among the crowds. After all, he doesn't know she was locked up.

That would be correct. Some of the builders may have sent in their written ideas for the characters, which might have inspired Greg's descriptions, but since it wasn't a requirement for the contest, I doubt it would have had that much of an impact on the final piece.

I think it's safe to say she's alive at the very least. We know canon specifics on Varian, the only other prisoner on the island (albeit in very different conditions); Varian is alive and well, though still in stasis, and salvagers are "nearing her location". (Varian's BS01 page has a source for this IIRC.) I do seem to recall what The~1st~Shadow said from one of the Greg chats, but if that's not canon I'd wager Mimic's girlfriend is alive but still imprisoned. In an emergency evacuation, I somehow doubt moving her was a priority. If I'm the Shadowed One and I don't want her found, but couldn't care less about her wellbeing, I'd just leave her in a place everyone thinks is destroyed.
