Excellent.

I've been kind of busy - well, by my standards, anyway - on the music acquisition front.

  • Serenity Soundtrack - composed by David Newman. I rather think the movie is enhanced by having listened to the soundtrack separately.
  • The Circus at the End of the World - Abney Park.
  • Homo Erraticus - Ian Anderson. Much better than Thick as a Brick 2, and this is coming from someone who enjoyed that album.
  • History Repeating: Red - The Megas. I think the Megas improve with each album, or at least they've been doing so thus far.
  • This Is Spinal Tap - Spinal Tap
  • Valkyrja - Tyr
  • The Who Sell Out - The Who
  • 2112 - Rush
  • The Complete Recordings - Robert Johnson
  • No More Tears - Ozzy Osbourne
  • No Rest For the Wicked - Ozzy Osbourne
  • Electric Ladyland - Jimi Hendrix

We will remember - Skies may fade and stars may wane; we won't forget

And your light shines bright - yes so much brighter shine on

We will remember - Until the skies will fall we won't forget

We will remember

We all shall follow doom

  • A Trick of the Tail - Genesis
  • Wind & Wuthering - Genesis
  • Anthem of the Sun - The Grateful Dead
  • Grateful Dead (Skull and Roses) - The Grateful Dead
  • Grateful Dead - The Grateful Dead

scored the 2008 reissue of Something Wild by Children of Bodom and two of the final three Every Time I Die albums I need, Hot Darn! and the 2-disc edition of The Big Dirty

edit: picked up the deluxe edition of Siren Charms by In Flames even though I figured it'd be bad, because I'm a shameless completionist and In Flames used to be my favorite band, but it turns out all copies of the deluxe edition have a manufacturing defect where all but one song are insanely quiet. I'm gonna wait and see if In Flames or Sony Music acknowledge this mistake and offer a corrected replacement disc or something before taking it back.
