jed1ndy Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 (edited) All right, I've finished version 2 of my alphabet: CHANGELOG:Fixed 'E' and 'F' characters (based on Dragon1106's version)Swapped back 'X' and 'Y' charactersRe-centered triangle on the new 'Y' characterI also went and made a "corrected" version: CHANGELOG (from 'v2' of the original):'C' and 'D' characters swapped, based on Mailli's suggestionNew 'C' character is flipped, based on Mailli's suggestion'X' and 'Y' characters re-swapped, as Tolkien originally pointed outEDIT: After looking at the preview some more I tweaked the letters again, and since this version is so quick after v2, I will give this version the name of v2.1, even though there are more changes in this version: CHANGELOG:White space in the 'I' and 'N' characters extendedIncreased the amount of white space in the 'Q', 'V', and 'X' characters, without majorly changing the shapeTriangle size in the 'Y' character decreasedYou can download v2 here and v2.1 here. Also, the download does not contained the reversed 'D' character. I would think of it as an alternate look. Mailli Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 I just thought since we're so confident with X an Y being switched, C and D should be switched because they look like each other's Latin alphabet's versions. IXRollOutIX Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 I personally think that the supposed 'D' symbol looks an awful lot more like a capital D than the supposed 'C' symbol. Again though, one of the biggest reasons I don't think there's any switcheroo there is because you'd have to completely mirror the D character for it to look right at all.
