Skull Slicer Character Video Appears on LEGO.com

Recommended Posts

As with the Toa before them, it seems like the skull creatures are getting their own 30-second character videos, starting with Kulta the Skull Grinder's lieutenant, Skull Slicer! Needless to say, though, the Skull Creatures seem to be a lot less talkative than the heroes of Okoto. Follow the link above to watch the video, and keep your eyes peeled for more at the LEGO.com Videos page!

I kinda wish he did more than jumping around maniacally, and some more villainous music would be nice. still, kinda neat to see him in action, and i like the more villainous take on the head.

That's probably because this video (unlike the Toa character videos we had before) seems to be cut entirely from the actual episodes. A video made of original footage probably could have had a more cohesive narrative and crammed in more action.

Yeah, I realized that was my other problem with it. It lacks structure, and feels a little chaotic. I wish they had made a new video with a consistent narrative, but I guess there must have been some obstacle to that.

I don't think that that is strictly entirely true; in this video he is jumping around on the pillars with his regular mask, while in the trailer he is wearing Lewa's. Presumably they switched it out here to emphasize is regular appearance. I wouldn't be surprised if the still image is exclusive to this video as well.

believe victims. its actually not that hard, and youd look kind of bad if you were to, say, side with an abuser because theyre your friend

Here is the video in case anyone has trouble watching it on Lego.com. (Like me.)

Anyways, I wasn't expecting Skull Slicer to have a Joker-like laugh. I wonder if its the Narrator is making that laugh. If he is, then he has a greater vocal range than I thought. :)

Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.

I remember something that he was alive because of skull spider mask controlling his body (and it controlled by LoSS), and in episode he just take it off, so he should be dead again? but he just put on Lewa mask, and was still alive and evil.

Yarr, that's somewhat inconsistent. Although it could be the power from Lewa's golden mask that is now keeping him alive, and it frees him from the LoSS' control.

Also, this character laughs like Lewa does. Maybe just a touch of personality rubbed off too?

Very cool video! Skull Slicer's cool.:) It is interesting that under his Skull Spider mask, he has a new face before he put on Lewa's mask. Speaking of Lewa, poor him. Why does he always get unlucky? It's very funny and classic.:P

I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!:)
