A Look Back at LEGO Star Wars

Christian Faber updated the Faber Files recently with a new entry titled Flashback - The LEGO and Star Wars collaboration - part 1. He takes a trip down memory lane at his initial involvement in LEGO Star Wars and the creation of the iconic original logo the brand used. It's an interesting look back at the design process and since it's the first part, I look forward to seeing this series continuing!

I really love that logo. I barely remember when the first sets came out, but I remember that logo.
 
Well, actually, I remember the prequel variant—I want to say it had Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn as the two middle Jedi?

It still amuses me to this day that the LEGO Star Wars Episode I logo had a Queen Amidala minifigure in it, yet it took them thirteen years to actually release one.
