*JX-85 units were built for mobile air filtering usually used on space stations or in dome settlements built on a planet that is under going terraforming. These drones are able to purify the air with their filtering equipment attached to the arm and back. The process happens in two steps, first the air gets sucked into the arm compartment where the bigger particles get stuck on specific filters, from there the air travels to the backpack where the more precise filtering/purification can happen. Often these robots are referred to as janitors because they are also tasked with keeping everything clean as much as possible.*

Well, this fella didn't get too much of a change but just enough. Haven't touched him since 2010, not many MOC of mine can say that, that their overall looked has not been changed for so long. None the less I still like this little guy, and thought I give it a few newer parts, plus the original look of the backpack started to look very outdated/clunky and required a better, more fitting look.

Edit: Gave him a custom head

This is a sweet MOC. The filter is nice and greebly, and it's cool that you've managed to fit not one but two Zamor launchers into the design. And that use of the Kraata tub is awesome!

If I had to offer a couple (minor) suggestions, the tube from the backpack to the filter seems a bit awkward--maybe try using a silver or black Mahri tube instead? Also, if you use a bright green Zamor sphere (from the Piraka sets) instead of the whiter green one you have currently, it might match the green lights on the backpack better (which BTW are another nice touch!).

Nice. I really like the filter apparatus. I think it might look even cooler if you made a custom head that's a little more robotic and less generic, maybe with one eye or something.

Do you think a 2015 head would work? It's silver, but it has a more robotic look to it. And if you use a silver Mahri tube to connect the backpack to the filter, a silver head might not look quite so out of place.

It might still look out of place, even with the tube. I was thinking something completely custom, sort of like what Keetongu has.

I really need a better signature.

Hm, that's not a bad idea, I'll see what can I put together.

I should have brighter ones around somewhere, I would have used a mahri tube, but I only have red colored ones, no black or silver.
