(Trans-Orange Tahu, Trans Tahu, Trans-Blue Gali, Trans-Lime Bull Skull, Gold Grinder/Warrior.) Do you think they will ever have meaning in the story, or will they remain just cool exclusives? Are the transparent Toa masks related to the Skull Villains draining their power? Will Kulta gain power through a Golden Mask? Let me know! I think that the trans-orange Tahu mask and the trans-blue Gali mask are more powerful versions of the Golden Masks. The Golden Masks are apparently made of raw magic and pure gold, and it seems the Skull Villains just strip away the gold, leaving more power for the Toa. It's really unnecessary, since you can go back and edit the original post to add the new information. Try to avoid doing this in the future, as it takes up space and prevents other members from answering your question directly. Honestly, I think the masks are going to stay as exclusives, although I'd love to see more of these ion the future. And a gold skull mask sounds really cool! I quite like the golden Kulta mask (don't have it, but want it). The trans orange Mask of Fire is amazing as well. Maybe being fully transparent shows that they are lower quality (like the negative transparency on drained masks), as we know that Ekimu's masks were preferred by villagers. Or maybe Makuta has set up a makeshift forge wherever he is now, and this is all he can make. But whatever, it would be nice if they were given some in-story powers, even if they are never used. Several of those masks are practically unobtainable for most fans—it'd sting for them to actually be integrated as key elements of the story that those fans may never be able to obtain. But yea, there were exclusive masks without story significance in G1, like the Trans-Lime Miru. 3 Quote Elemental Rahi in Gen2, anyone? A write-up for an initial video for a G2 plot I really wish everyone would stop trying to play join the dots with Gen 1 and Gen 2 though,it seems there's a couple new threads everyday and often they're duplicates of already existing conversations! Or simply parallel them with a slightly new 'twist'! Gen 2 is NEW, it is NOT Gen 1 and it is NOT a continuation. Outside of the characters we already have I personally don't want to see ANY old characters return. I think it will cheapen the whole experience to those of us familiar with the original line...
