Murder Mansion II: House Arrest

Recently a law was passed that outlawed the use of The Pit and mandated more humane prison facilities. As these new prisons were being built, prisoners were transferred to the largest homes available available and place under house arrest. In one of these, a mansion belonging to a famous art thief, there were three convicted criminals and six who were on trial all guarded by secen investigators. Only one of these investigators had the key to leave the mansion and none of the prisoners knew which it was. The security system was far too advanced to escape without the key. But while no one could be sure of the guilt or innocence of the six, one was certainly guilty, this one was impersonating someone they had killed, they had killed many before that and planned to kill many more. So the impostor hatched a plan to free all the prisoners so they could wreak havoc.

Each player in this game is assigned one of 16 roles, each with a unique power Some roles are random but not all. 7 roles are investigators, their identities but not their powers are public knowledge. One of them is also the keyholder. If the keyholder dies, the impostor and all surviving murderers and theives win. If an attempt is made on a different investigator's life, it fails, the plan is exposed and the impostor and all murderers lose. So don't target an investigator unless you're sure it's te key holder. The three convicted are similar to the investigator in that their identities are public knowledge but their powers are known only to each other. However, this does not necessarily make them allies. All players can choose to work with or against whoever they choose with the exception that all investigators are allied with each other.

Before the game begins the players may recieve a note from the impostor and will be privately informed of the contents of their note, and may later receive more notes throughout the game. Every other 24 hour round players will tell me what they wish to attempt to do and after the round is over, I will privately inform them of what happened which will be affected by all player's choices and how quickly they informed me of them. The players can choose to attempt to follow someone, interrogate someone, attempt to kill someone, attempt to hide from other players, attempt to steal an item from the police, use their role ability (unless it is a passive ability), or use an item if they have one. In between these rounds are surprise inspections where everyone has 24 hours to vote for any living player and whoever gets the most votes has all their actions for the whole game (including illegal ones) revealed.

Attempting to kill a player is fairly self explanatory, and allows the killer to claim any items from the victim. Following a player makes you aware of their actions that round, interrogating them makes you aware of their actions the previous round (unless they killed or stole in which case they will lie). Items that can be stolen grant additional special powers(you may choose which item to try to steal). Hiding makes you immune to being targeted unless the targeter tells me where you chose to hide or has a special power that overrides it. Players are informed when you interrogate them but not for any other targeting, barring role powers. After a round all players are informed what (if anything) was stolen and who(if anyone) was killed.

Investigators cannot choose to attempt to kill someone but can attempt any of the other options, including stealing (they can try to steal items back) Investigators start with all items and share them all. If all players guilty of murder or attempted murder, are dead, the investigators and anyone else not dead wins. Investigators, please don't betray each other, but everyone else is free to make or break whatever alliances they like.

Roles:

Investigators: Seven investigators each with a unique power known only to each other but their identities are known to all. One of them is also the keyholder. If the keyholder dies the investigators lose. Their goal is to expose the plot by tricking murderers into targeting a non-keyholder.

Convicted Criminals: These three know each other's powers and may or may not choose to work together. Like investigators the criminals' powers are secret but not their identities.

Suspects: Identities and powers known to all, one is secretly an impostor. Their powers are:

Secret Role: (No that does not mean this is the impostor its no more likely to be than the other five suspects) Everyone knows exactly who the secret role is but not what their powers are.

Bone Hunter: This old hunter can scavenge armor from their um two-legged prey. Every time this player makes a kill they get a suit of armor protecting them from a killing attempt.

Bota Magnan Vorox: This inventor has his own agenda. If he collects three items he builds an extremely powerful item out of them.

Skrall: This former enemy of the Glatorian seeks to regain honor and will thus kill anyone it follows if they commit a crime.

Turaga: This elder knows what powers everyone has (but not who the key holder and impostor are, unless they are the impostor)

Makuta: This being, banishedd from another dimension, is very powerful, able to convert any non investigator to becoming their ally, one per night, if they so choose.

Important Note: Due to copy/pasting and then editing old rules, I completely forgot to mention a very important change from the first game. Pleas check first post.
