BlackboltJohnson
This 700-series robot wasn't designed for combat action. WIthout any armor to protect it's vital parts, it would be easily one-shotted by any weapon. But it's advanced AI combined with state-of-the-art robomotion technology makes it perfect for almost any large scale construction project. It can operate perfectly even under the extreme conditions found at great ocean depths, frigid arctic temperatures, or even the vacuum of space. It's pincer type appendages are modular, and can be easily swapped out for things like arc welders, clamps, forklift prongs, shovels, etc. Here is Utili-Bot unit 781. . . Millennium
It's nice how it has an Inika armor but not an Inika torso. Very good use of orange parts, and the blend of new and old - really old, I may say - parts is coherent and good-looking. The head doesn't really convince me, though. BlackboltJohnson
Thanks for the feedback! And that's a great point about the head. I actually designed it to look as little like a real head as possible. Basically just a visual processing unit (it's "eye") along with the locomotion processor where all the cabling connects to. Have you seen any of those recent videos on Youtube where Google and some other companies have been demoing their robots? Well those weird looking things were my inspiration for this. Here's a great example of that, if you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-e9QzIkP5qI This is one of those creations where I was purposely trying for an unappealing looking head/face.
