Boss RoboRider - Modern Version

Built to keep my modern Dust RoboRider company, this 'bot takes cues from the original Boss RoboRider, while being very much its own entity. With working sets of treads with individual shock absorbers, guns which swivel together*, and a streamlined Tumbler-esque design, this is one of my favourite MOCs I've come up with this year. Enjoy!

I like that you went for a more unique direction, but I think some dark gray pieces could've been used on the tank treads or the technic pieces on the sides. If you wanted to keep the black, then you could've replaced the technic beams with orange ones or even replaced some of the pieces such as the red and silver roborider heads with ones that came from the actual set so it would bear more resemblance to the original set while keeping the unique tumbler like frame.

It's nice, though the silver really sticks out the wrong way, also no separating into smaller vehicles? :c

I was going to say that, but Logan said he wanted a more unique direction so he omitted the Boss Jet or he could've just not had enough pieces to achieve the extra vehicles.

Great job! :) I think I used to own the original, although I can't really remember. In comparison, I think you really captured the feel of a fully fleshed-out RoboRider. As any Bionicle fan familiar with Nuparu knows, orange, gray, and black aren't always the smoothest color scheme, so I like the red and black instead. Red is nice and simple and doesn't distract from the MOC like orange sometimes unfortunately does.

I like the use of the RoboRider heads in red and chrome! They really help give it a RoboRider feel. :P And the working shock absorption looks great! The treads remind me of all the Rahi sets that used them, which is sort of a nice if unimportant tie-in between RoboRiders and its descendant Bionicle.

I like the red lightsaber blades, too! They're perfect. Nice job!
