shouldn't nato get to decide something like that

i mean it's already far more likely that anamnesis would just absorb the shield/sword versus the other way around anyway so

OOC: Because an energy sword and shield doesn't give you energy absorption powers. If he can absorb a being that is pure energy, what else could he absorb? Energy rifle shots? Lasers? Quaza energy from the Heroes around him?

Character Nulled. :P

Minor addition to Saracen's profile in preparation for the next mission, will edit into his profile and implement IC if approved.

Hero Profile:

Name: Saracen Rune.

Powers and Abilities: Special gravity-manipulating capacitors built directly into his armour allow him to fly and hover near silently. Maximum movement speed using these is limited to his body’s own terminal velocity. As such, his armour has been reinforced to withstand these increased speed and pressures, making him more durable than the average hero.

Weapon(s): Saracen’s weapon of choice is a sturdy, powerful rifle that fires precise, high-impact energy bolts across mid-distance ranges. In preparation for taking on larger vessels in the air, his rifle has been equipped with a secondary RPG launcher. His helmet is equipped with a set of goggles possessing several variations of targeting software – telescopic, thermal, and night vision – to assist in his aiming.

Appearance: Clad in blue and grey, this hero is slightly taller than average, and carries himself with a haughty air of confidence that is more than a little intimidating.

MOC: http://i.imgur.com/ch9Z1wp.png

Bio: Not particularly talkative, Saracen just gets the job done and gets on with his life. He is quiet, calm and efficient, and will carry out his orders to the letter without hesitation. He has little understanding of true ethics or morals, as he’s been brought up to believe that whatever Hero Factory does or asks him to do is the right thing.

Proper profile for Silvia's Ship:

Ship Profile:

Name: the Wolf Pup.

Ship Size: Medium – spacious cockpit large enough for three occupants, seating in the body of the ship for an additional 20-ish beings, plus a decent-sized cargo hold.

Pilots: Silvia Raine.

NPC/S: “Alpha”, an advanced repair/maintenance drone who serves as Silvia’s co-pilot/engineer, and gives her someone to talk to.

Communications Systems: The ship is capable of broadcasting and receiving messages on most galaxy-wide open channels.

Navigation and Drive: As Silvia conducts business in many regions of the galaxy, her vessel has extensive starmaps depicting most inhabited worlds and numerous major trade routes.

Weapons/Armour Systems: Primarily a transport vessel, the Pup relies on its armour plating and shield systems to protect it from missiles, lasers, asteroids, extreme temperatures, etc. The cockpit has been further reinforced to prevent easy access in the unlikely event of a boarding situation. For combat and defence, the ship also carries a heavy laser cannon on each wing, and is able to deploy flare countermeasures to divert heat-seeking projectiles and the like.

Propulsion Systems: Possessing a cluster of smaller thrusters to prevent a single lucky hit from disabling it, the Pup’s size and weight renders it fairly slow when travelling sub-light, and the numerous engines mean that it takes longer for the FTL to charge. Because it’s designed for lengthy space voyages, the ship has a large fuel capacity, and spare fuel cells are stored in the cargo hold.

Land vs Dock: Designed for versatility, the Pup is able to land securely on most forms of terrain.

MOC/S:  Wolf Pup. Alpha.

And a ship for Reginald, too.

Ship Profile:

Name: the Old Timer.

Ship Size: Small – single hero fighter.

Pilots: Sir Reginald Buckley.

Communications Systems: Access to regular HF and civilian channels.

Navigation and Drive: As one would expect of a HF vessel, it has full access to Hero Factory’s starmaps, with the interior of the cockpit serving as a touchscreen HUD for displaying information on the ship’s systems.

Weapons/Armour Systems: Lightly armoured, the vessel mostly relies on its small size and agility for defence in combat. Each wing is equipped with a plasma blaster, and the wings are sharpened and reinforced for slicing at enemy vessels.

Propulsion Systems: Each of the four wings has an engine mounted on the back, and as each wing can rotate and move independently of the others, this allows the fighter an extensive range of motion and manoeuvrability. However, as it lacks FTL capabilities, this fighter must rely on being docked with larger vessels in order to traverse the expanses of space.

Land vs Dock: Standard gear for landing on most forms of terrain.

MOC/S: http://i.imgur.com/6P9LO7E.png

Wolf Pup and the Old Timer approved

What is a RPG launcher? I think it is Rocket Propelled Grenade laucher, but want to make sure I'm right.

OOC: I'm kind of thinking along the same lines as fishers here. Looking at Focus' profile and the images you've used for his weapon descriptions, neither of those items seem to have energy absorption abilities...

SHip profile for Jade!

Name: Gunship 479

Ship Size: Medium

Pilot: Jade

Communications: Access to HF and a wide range of civilian and unlicensed channels.

Navigation and Drive: Access to standard HF Starmaps, as well as a few.... less than legitimate maps. Piloted from the front, with standard holo HUD and control panels. Embedded cameras provide a roughly 360 degree field of vision when necessary, but cockpit provides a rough 100 degree field of view.

Weapons/Armor: As befitting a gunship, 479 is heavily armed and armored. Heavy lasers, and two racks of missile pods, each holding roughly 12 missiles. Additionally, a light laser cannon in the rear provides some additional firepower. The armor is thick, ablative plating, designed to boil away under fire and preserve the overall functionality of the armor. Chaff pods provide missile defense, but are limited to four chaff firings.

Propulsion systems: On each 'wing' there are two main engines for propulsion, as well as smaller thrusters for maneuvering, deceleration, or hovering. Additional engine pods lie on either side of the rear, each wing and pod able to rotate independently of each other parallel to the body of the ship, giving it surprising agility for a ship of it's size, as well as power to punch through lines.

Land/Dock: Tripod system allows easy landing on any relatively flat surface.

Other: Troop bay able to hold around six heroes with full gear, eight without, or ten civilians. Or four XLs.

Approved.

OOC:

Ship Profile:

Name: The Iron Hornet

Size: Small

Pilot: Jason Ferro

NPCs: None

Communication: Hero Factory

Navigation: Some basic maps, and 360 degree cameras. The ship is piloted by Ferro, while another hero can face backwards and act as a gunner. The ship can also be summoned to Ferro's position, or controlled remotely using a device on his forearm.

Weapons/armor: The ship is lightly armored, being able to take hits from bullets and lasers, though something like a missile would put it out of commission. It is armed with two foreword facing laser cannons, controlled by Ferro, as well as a backward facing articulated laser cannon, controlled by the gunner. It also has a towing cable attached to the bottom, for whatever reason.

Propulsion: The Iron hornet was designed to be very fast and agile, in order to make it as difficult to hit as possible. The ship can switch between two modes: a mode made for flying as quickly as possible, used for chasing down other ships and aerial combat, and a hover mode, which it assumes by shifting the position of it's wings to reveal a pair of turbines. This mode is much slower than the speed mode, and is used for combat against ground based targets. The ship has to land in order to switch between modes.

Landing: The ship can easily land on many surfaces due to it's small size, including the outside of larger ships, as Ferro can magnetize the landing gear.

Approved.

Rocket Propelled Grenade, yes. My apologies for not being clearer. Rest assured, it's definitely not a Role Playing Game launcher.

So, has the invasion started already, or do we need to wait for a post before we begin retaliating? Also, whenever it does start, will the brain master's ship be within the atmosphere, or in space above the city?

IC: Saracen Rune - Mechron City.

Since emergency services seemed to have the whole blown-up building situation well under control, he took to the air and started making his way back towards the police station.

_____________________________________________________________

IC: Silvia Raine - Wolf Pup.

Dropping out of FTL in orbit around one of the more lawless space stations she frequented, she skimmed through the galactic news headlines while Alpha ran a scan of neighboring star systems. One of his findings - an entire fleet of unidentified battleships converging on the Makuhero belt - caught her attention. Considering what had just transpired at the Conference on Antropolis, she doubted the fleet were visiting Hero Factory for a pleasant chat.

"Set a course for Makuhero City," she instructed Alpha, "I'm sensing an opportunity for profit."

_____________________________________________________________

IC: Mr Vyle - Traferous' Ship.

He made his way up to the bridge, skimming the news on a data tablet. The appearance of a near-perfect Mr Makuro look-alike after his departure from Antropolis was certainly interesting, and he was already thinking of a few different ways he could factor the doppelganger into his future schemes. "Anything interesting happen while I was gone?" he asked Fravi as he entered, putting the tablet away.

SHIP PROFILE: The Brain Master's Base of Operations [he really didn't bother to name it]

Ship Size: Large - the ship is big enough for a bridge, a healing area, a hangar for small vessels, and areas for his legions to live, albeit cramped.

Pilots (these are PCs onboard): Jarrious and Rwer, The Destroyers - 500

NPCs onboard (if applicable): Evil Brains (about 500)

Communications Systems: The ship is designed to communicate on civilian and some encrypted villain frequencies. The two haven't managed to hack Hero Factory comms yet. This is done through the method of organic creatures that emit radio signals that are embedded in the ships' flesh. Sometimes they detach and walk around the ship for better signals.

Navigation and Drive: Biolumensent touch screens provide navigation data and feeds through external eyes (and the eyes of the brain master's legions). The ship is actually piloted via voice command, given that it is a living creature.

Weapons Systems/Armor: Large energy beams capable of shredding vessels and knocking them out of the sky. The sides of the ship are soft and have no standard armor to speak up. Wounds to the exterior, however, heal rapidly, making the ship difficult to damage until it runs out of fuel. Chitin resources on board can make the ship's outside hard, but the drivers are reluctant to use them.

The weapon systems are operated via touch screen.

Propulsion Systems: The ship uses fuel like any other organic beast. The exhaust of this particular organic system propels the group through space. The ship is not particularly nimble, although it can change shape - but not that rapidly, and sometimes at the cost of its internal oxygen supply. It also has a short-range teleportation system in the event that fuel is low or transport needs to be faster.

Land vs. Dock (Atmospheric): Dock. Entering an atmosphere with this vessel could cause it to explode.

----------------------------------

OOC:

So, has the invasion started already, or do we need to wait for a post before we begin retaliating? Also, whenever it does start, will the brain master's ship be within the atmosphere, or in space above the city?

OOC: It's starting right now. And, in space.

GM IC BRAIN MASTER (ABOVE MAKUHERO CITY)

The two came to a stop above a certain asteroid in the Makuhero Belt, within view of the notorious base of his enemy's operations. Below him, a dropship came in for a landing, causing a section of the failsafe shield to be lowered.

The brain master said nothing. While it was tempting to just fire his energy lasers at the shield, there was a far better way. He waved his hand, and a small pod of Destroyers appeared inside the shield. They began melting through the side of the Hero Factory building. Soon, they would lower the shield, or be trapped inside it like rats in a barrel.

GM NPC ZIB

"All Heroes, report to the front door!" Zib shouted, as the Destroyers quickly zeroed in on the transparent aluminum at said front door and were chasing civilian call center workers. "We are under attack! I repeat, we are under attack!"

Alarms sounded throughout the Factory as Zib's voice was broadcast through the entire PA system.

Finally dusting this old thing off.

EDIT: And Done! Ready to be submitted for approval!

Extremely rough profile, just putting it here to revise and keep safe for later.

Name: Max Vale

Appearance: An organic being, Max is a bipedal humanoid creature, with two legs that end in feet ending in ten toes. Mean while, his arms are similar, ending in two hands with four fingers and a thumb. Two eyes, ears and nostrils on their face along with a single mouth make the look uncannily like an organic hero. With simple cloth coverings he keeps himself decent, with rustic white pants and simple boots. A loose fitting open dark blue shirt arguably covers his torso.  His eyes are a dark green, and has a head covered in hair, which is black.

Powers/weapons/abilities: In the far reaches of the universe, there exists a power, known as the Spiral. Organic beings can tap into this power as they evolve, and as they do so, they are able to utilize it to a greater degree. The humanoid form suits it best, and humanoid races can use it to the greatest extent.  When applied to a being, it increases their resolve, making them stronger and faster than a similar being who is not using the Power of the Spiral. While not on par with the abilities of the mechanical heroes, these beings can outclass most mechanised civilians. The largest boon, however is when this power is channeled through compatible machines, such as Powered armor, mechs, or certain ships. Using this power, these machines gain immense power, able to stand up to withering punishment and putting out incredible power, so long as the user remains determined and passionate about their fight. This is ultimately the power's greatest weakness, as well as it's strength. It is only as strong as it's user's resolve, and other strong emotions such as grief, sadness, and even extreme frustration can shatter it and render it unstable. Max is one such user of Spiral power. Using it, as well as a suit of powered armor he calls Aniki, he fights for the future of organic races.

Bio: Being one of the few remaining members of an organic race that once flourished through the universe, Max is more or less one of the last of his kind, the rest slaughtered in a war with mechanical beings and a collection of once organic races known collectively as the anti-spiral. Now he has allied himself with any other Organics in an effort to avenge his people, and right the wrongs that he perceives throughout the universe.

Location: New Dawn

Armor Profile using the ship outline:

Name: Aniki

Ship Size: Small, single occupant powered armor.

Pilot: Max Vale

Communication Systems: Encrypted channel system capable of contacting friendly forces and enemies alike.

Navigation and Drive: Operated simply by moving, though weapons systems are neurally linked to the mind of the pilot.

Weapons systems/Armor: The armor is about as effective as your average Hero plating, normally, but powered with Spiral energy, it's nearly twice the strength. An energy cannon can be transformed onto the left arm, and a nearly indestructible drill of unknown alloy on the right.

Propulsion systems: Microfusion cell provides nearly limitless energy to run the Armor in basic combat. However, the true power source is Spiral energy, which allows the armor to run at full potential. Has a retractable wing jetpack that allows for space and air flight.

IC: Wilhelm Gorn-Hero factory entrance

This was exciting! Someone's ATTACKING Hero Factory! Whoever did this must be really powerful! And where there was power, there was a new threat for Wilhelm Gorn to destroy...

When Gorn had heard Zib's message, he had moved quicker than he ever had before. He couldn't let anyone else have all the fun, could he? As he reached the door, weapons drawn, Gorn was met with disappointment at the sight of a number of odd bug-like creatures. He had been expecting something like Von Nebula. Or maybe an oversized beast. Or maybe TWO Von Nebulas... Not a bunch of overgrown ants! Oh well, they would have to do...

Assuming a battle stance, Gorn charged at one of the creatures about to attack a worker, shield held in front of his body, and sword ready to decapitate.

Anemensis' actions may or may not have made all of the other villains' life harder for this mission.

OOC: Even when I'm trying to destroy Hero Factory from the inside, it seems that I'm actually helping its cause...

_________________________________________________________________

IC: Markus Vex - Antropolis.

Leaving Striker to deal with Fakuro, he clambered into his pod and powered up the engines. "This is Vex, returning to base," he reported into his comms as the pod began to rise. "Striker's bringing the prisoner."

_________________________________________________________________

IC: Sir Reginald Buckley - Hero Factory.

Picking up Old Chum, he strapped on his equipment, checked his core charge - nearly full, more than enough to get him through this battle - and took the elevator down to the floor that was under attack.

"You know, chaps," he adjusted his monocle as he stepped out of the elevator, advancing on the swarm of Destroyers with his shotgun at the ready, "It's impolite to enter a man's home without knocking." With that, he began blasting away.

OOC: I was gonna point out that Jawblade has been confirmed to walk on his fins or something similar (I remember because the book that describes it notes he gets angry because of how silly he looks waddling around) but first off, I don't remember the Breakout scene where he punches Stormer off the top of my head (I'm trying to rewatch all the episodes and Breakout is next on the list though) and maybe him walking makes no sense there, and secondly and more importantly, this means we have a HOVERSHARK on our hands and thus I hereby redact any and all canon discrepancy notes I had on the subject. Even if this means I can no longer make Gyo: Tokyo Fish Attack jokes about him. Just kidding, this will not even stop me.

Also, on the topic of power absorption: I've noted before, with great amusement, that Flood could defeat Anamnesis with a warm hug or even a firm handshake.

~

IC: Wilbur Flood - Dropship

Flood leaned to look down at the city below. He stared at the giant hole in the city centre. "Um... hm. Well, we're just about here. Any ideas as to how to get the turbines out of wherever they are? From what we learned from last time, they're still functioning."

~

IC: Ken Render - Hero Factory

Render idly meandered from his Quaza charge, chewing a short length of copper wire. He'd returned from a mission to find he'd apparently missed some nasty break-in, and the rest of his team was out on a mission. He thoughtfully mused this, even as he headed for his room. Their team rarely found themselves all out at the same time, since usually they worked in either small teams or alone as support for other teams.

The call came in as he approached the elevator. Fighting villains directly wasn't exactly his favourite thing to do- the emergencies he was called in to deal with were usually dealing with the aftermath of a villain's actions- but he sure could help. He could at least help get others to safety.

"One attack after the other," he mumbled around the wire, jogging for the front door. "These villains're like wood termites gnawin' on a steel bar."

~

IC: Mona Selphi - Hero Factory, Forensics Offices

Selphi brightly tapped away at her console. It sure had been an exciting day! Not one, not two, but THREE bodies had been taken down to her office today, she was pretty sure she'd sent them in to her pal in the morgue. She was currently writing a report based on the notes sent to her from that department, since she didn't have anything particularly pressing, since she was only really waiting on some other results to go through the database.

An alarm sounded with a message over the PA, startling some of her colleagues. She regarded it with a small nod, picked up a datapad and her headset, and continued her work in the safety of the space under her desk. No way was she ditching her duties! She had important work to do! What if a Hero needed an oil splatter or an impact dent analysed? Why, that'd just be irresponsible of her not to be here!

~

OOC: I am reminded that I am still waiting on a post from Cor. I'll give it a little while longer, but if she's not replying by the end of the week, do you mind if we just assume Wolfe is firing arrows around like no one's business so I don't leave Night Stalker waiting any longer?

IC: Jason Ferro- Dropship

"If I can see it, I can move it using magnetism. It'll take quite a bit of power, though, and I'm at around 60%, so we can't get them back into place using that alone. If we can get them out into the open, I know a way we can transport them easily."

OOC: I'm pretty sure the scene where Jawblade punches Stormer was from the commercial for the breakout sets, not the episode.

IC: Anamnesis - Cell.

His form was beginning to wither, unraveling with each passing moment. With his power levels still gradually dropping, his form could no longer maintain a distinct shape or colour. He was becoming blurry and indistinct, taking on an almost ghostly transparency. His datastream remained intact for now, but without a form to properly contain it, it was likely that his consciousness would begin to dissipate as well.

He was dying, and didn't even know it.

OOC: So do I just go to the main entrance then?

OOC: If you want to bust through Hero Factory's shield, yes.

Anemensis' actions may or may not have made all of the other villains' life harder for this mission.

OOC: Actually, if Breaker is smart, he should go to the hangars and slip in along with Makuro's dropship, right before the shield goes up again, getting him back inside.

OOC: I'll get a ship profile and maybe a new Hero up tomorrow. Too tired to do it tonight.

IC: Alex Drift - Seriously :annoyed:

"Really?!" Drift yelled in exasperation as the alarms all started blaring. "I get back from the Antropolis nightmare and this happens?!" Turning around, he unholstered his new gun and took off towards the front entrance.

IC: Cobra Shard - Hero Factory

Shard welcomed the convenient distraction from his terrible guilt and began running to where the sirens were coming from. He ran down the hallway, turned left around the corner, and SMACK! Ran right into a wall. "Augh, turned the wrong way," he muttered to himself as he climbed off the floor and turned right this time. Wasting no time, Shard began raining down ice spikes on the attacking force.

IC: Echo - Hero Factory Villain Containment

Ah, there he was: the villain that had caused them so much trouble. "Hello?" Echo said cautiously. When there was no response he tapped on the wall next to the cell gently. Still nothing. The villain seemed to be in some sort of catatonic state. Probably from the cuffs; they did have that effect on most people, what with the power draining and all that. Luckily, all Hero Factory cells were designed with a safe removal system for the cuffs.

First, Echo remotely disconnected them from the villain. Then, he opened a small panel on the floor which revealed an indentation just the right shape for the cuffs and triggered the built-in magnetic field to suck them directly to it. Once the cuffs were in, the panel closed over them and there was a small click as they were moved away from the cell under the floor. They would go through several screening processes as was the standard before being deposited in a decontamination area and eventually being transferred back to the armory.

With this done, Echo sat back to wait for the killer to wake up.

OOC: I've been trying to think of various ways to remove cuffs from villains for re-use without giving them an opportunity for escape. If I've missed something with this system, please let me know.  :P

GM NPC STORMER

Stormer twisted toward his sword arm to avoid being impaled, though the blade did cross his Hero Core cover at a speed fast enough to make him warm. In doing so, he pushed the blade even further into Kaiba's neck hold.

He wasn't surprised when the villain backed up and release his hold on the weapon as result.

GM IC DFER (ANTROPOLIS)

Dfer walked back up to Tait's hotel, past the receptionist and the hole in the side of the establishment, and up the stairs to the roof.

There, the pilot named Hayley Gwet welcomed him aboard as the two blasted off for the Valos system.

GM NPC FURNO (ANTROPOLIS)

Furno piloted the dropship into the hole in the ground, past a couple of heroes who were battling Kaiba Blader - what was he doing here? - and managed to put the vechicle down in an area free of organic beast pods.

GM NPC QUEEN BEAST

The Queen Beast had never seen the strange thing that Furno was piloting before and sauntered over to take a look.

GM NPC BREEZE

Breeze headed to the door. "I'll talk to her. You guys move."'

-----------------------------------------

GM IC DR. LIE

"Yes, it is," Dr. Lie said. He reached over and pressed a button. Lasers shot from hidden aperatures on the walls at rapid speed, and outlined a...thing...in the middle of the room that looked like a dog peering into Adam West's cell.

"Cloaking devices" snapped Dr. Lie, "take light and bend it around an object so it vanishes. These lasers show the bending path."

He waited for a reaction from the cloaked being. Perhaps it was friendly and shy. That had happened before.

GM IC CAPTOR

The database didn't have any readings anywhere close to what he was seeing. Whatever this villain had, it was relatively new.

He might also notice the lasers covering him. They weren't harmful, but they moved as he moved, and they covered him.

------------------------------------------------

GM NPC RECEPTIONIST (TRANQUIS VII - W/NIMUS)

"Crashed?" she asked. "Why? Did some villain shoot you out of the sky?" She looked worried. If there was a villain on the loose, they needed to lock the place down.

GM IC NIMUS

The reception area was a hub of activity. A couple of civilians with burns and one with a crushed shoulder were awaiting treatment, and repair crews were everywhere fixing damage from the recent battles.

GM NPC DRAX

Drax slunk down through the hole in the ground, seeing a villain awash in a green glow from his ammo launched and a thick locker open. Drax fired his energy pistol at the villain's weapon, but didn't dare get any closer for the risk of being irradiated.

GM NPC MECHRON POLICE

The Mechron police officers hopped down behind Drax and fired as Kavok Quake's head, like they were in a poorly designed video game.

IC Kat:

The alarms are you kidding me right now how am I supposed to work with no LEGS

IC Jade:

"OOOOOOhhhhhhhhohohohohhhooo."

Jade laughed to herself as she ran her hands over the controls of her (HER!) ship once more. Finally fully repaired and ready for action, just in time for a big fight in the sky.

Just what Four Seven Niner needed.

She opened a channel to any heros in the factory, "This is Gunship 479er, prepped and hot, ready for launch. Any Hero needing a drop is welcome to join, we launch in five."

IC: Anamnesis - Cell.

Light and sound filtered back into awareness as the cuffs disconnected. He sat up, his translucent visage shimmering in the dim light, and turned towards the nearest energy source his weakened senses could pick up - the hero lurking just outside his cell. Even with his vision somewhat blurred, he recognised the being from the camera footage.

"So at last you come out of hiding, coward," he mused, sitting back against the cell wall. His voice was crackly, distorted. "You only dare meet me face to face when I've been safely locked away."

"What is it?" it looked like an animal of some kind, but he was all too aware that looks could be deceiving.

GM NPC QUADAL (MEDICAL BAY)

Quadal arrived with the legs Unit had ordered for Kathrine

GM IC TRAFEROUS (SPACEPORT)

Traferous climbed out of a sewer grate near the spaceport, only to see another ship leave. To his great relief, his  dropship transport piloted by 78 was still there. He opened the door. "Get out of here and go check on the other villains," he said, helping himself to the main pilot chair and the news feed.

"Mission accomplished," he said to Fravi. "We still need to get our other assoiciates and our tail out of here."

GM IC FRAVI

"The Brain Master is attacking Hero Factory," Fravi said to Mr. Vyle, looking at him. "For starters. And I just got a hilarious email from the conspiracy blaming Hero Factory for one of their bases getting blown up and one of their leaders killed, and they've set a bounty on one of the Heroes. A Saracen. As if he was something important." She was holding the comms, though, allowing Traferous to listen in on what she was saying, his face on one of the screens.

"Unfortunately their leader did get killed and their base did get blown up, so they are definitely plotting revenge. Probably something subtle, although that will be hard to pull with the Brain Master in there with guns blazing."

IC: Mr Vyle - Traferous' Ship.

"Interesting," he made note of the information, wondering if there was anything he could use. He had a feeling that Traferous' current absence was likely linked to either the conspiracy base being blown up, or the leader being killed, if not both. "Just in case it wasn't already obvious from present circumstances, the Brain Master was unwilling to negotiate with me."

IC Kathrine:

"Thank you kindly, Quadal. I'll get these fitted as soon as possible." I said with a smile, hopping down into a wheelchair, and tossing the legs across my lap.

"But first, I gotta have a chat with someone."

I wheeled out of the medical bay, despite the medical staff's.....concerns? Ah, well, they were only doing their jobs, and I had saved enough day for today.

Approved.

GM IC TRAFEROUS

"Perhaps we should add our guns to the blazing club." Traferous put in. "Best two out of three. Or we could just use the Brain Master's obvious preoccupation with stupidity as an excuse to get rid of him. Or we could ignore all of that and try to figure out what the conspiracy is doing, and maybe join that. Or we could just buy some popcorn and watch everyone kill each other."

Mr. Vyle, Traferous knew, would be able to hear this.

GM IC FRAVI

"Mr. Vyle is back," said Fravi to Traferous, in case he hadn't noticed. "And yeah, I kinda noticed that you were shooting at him," She shrugged to Mr. Vyle.

IC: Mr Vyle - Traferous' ship.

"In all honesty, the popcorn option sounds like the safest," he weighed up the options, "The Conspiracy can be a little hostile at times..." especially if he was correct in assuming that Traferous was the one truly responsible for the recent destruction of their property, "...and the Brain Master would likely try to kill me if we crossed paths again. Perhaps we ought to simply sit back for the time being. Let Hero Factory and the Brain Master wipe each other out, then we can sweep in and finish off the weakened victor."

GM IC TRAFEROUS

"I do know of a planet in the Valos system that sells some pretty good popcorn," said Traferous. "Now all I need to do is get these two dimwits off of this planet, which, given that we're going nowhere fast, isn't too much of a hurry."

GM IC FRAVI

"I think I will be going to the battle," said Fravi. "I haven't had a good fight in awhile - I need to stretch my legs."

Behind his impassive faceplate, Mr Vyle rolled his robotic eyes, "So I would be correct in assuming that you were the one who blew up that Galactic Conspiracy base, then?"

IC: Mr Vyle - Traferous' Ship.

"Children," he sighed, "Petty, immature children. So wrapped in your little grudges and rivalries that you fail to see the bigger picture." Disappointing, but not totally unexpected. "Or did you simply forget that we're trying to work with the Conspiracy?"

IC: Epix - Conference Hall (Ruins)

The fact that the Villain had never heard of him didn't come as much of a surprise, since most of his missions took place well out of view from the general public.

"Epix, head of Hero Factory's SIA Division, and hunter of Rogue Agents," he said simply without so much as a hint of emotion. "More commonly known as The Recall."

He then quickly flicked his wrist and twirled the weapon between his fingers before lowering it back towards the ground.

"And you are Kaiba Blader, Prototype Hero and the first ever to betray your initial programming. You should know that I have full authorisation to terminate you in the event you choose to resist apprehension."

ICKaiba Blader:

the proto-Hero's sneer grew.

"It is not betrayal to wish to continue to serve the galaxy. And it is not betrayal to feel the pain of loss, to want revenge for the wrongs committed against a being and all his brethren."

"Despite this, I have held myself in check. Not exceeded my programming beyond what was necessary to survive, continued to help innocents on worlds the Factory never would!"

"Before that, I served the galaxy faithfully, to the best of my ability, alongside my siblings. We were a force of good in the galaxy the like of which had never been seen!"

He leveled his blade at the other Hero.

"I DID MY DUTY!" He spat."AND IN RETURN HE TORE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS APART!"

IC: Captor

Location: Unveiling Lasergrid Samba

Uh oh. Captor cursed himself. Of course, regardless of his cloaking powers, there were still methods to uncover his presence. He then sighed with relief when he remembered that his hero core was safely hidden within his torso cavity, and that he had no outer markings or even scan-detectable internal processes that marked him as a hero. And seeing as how the two villains hadn't attacked him yet, it seemed they were rather interested in learning what he was than disposing of an intruder.

And so, with relative calmness on the surface, he uncloaked, revealing his honestly somewhat edgy looking form to the two beings. If he played his cards right, he could pass for a villain, and get out of this situation without having to resort to anything violent. "Hello there."

IC: Nimius Ardor

Location: Tranquis VII - Hospital

"Yeah, but I wouldn't worry about them now, they probably left after they discovered me and shot me out of the sky." Nimius looked at his shoulder. The healing bot was almost done with its work. "Anyway, I was wondering where in the city I could get a signal off to Hero Factory that I'm stranded here? Or if there's maybe a ship rental around here somewhere?"

IC: Lilith Specter and Titanos Forticus

Location: Hero Factory

"Uh oh, looks like we're under attack. C'mon, we gotta go help." Lilith said to Titanos as she heard of the attack. Titanos rubbed the back of his neck. "Aw man, a fight? Gosh darn it, I don't like fighting..." Titanos groaned. "But I guess I can't just sit back and let the factory get attacked..." "That's the spirit! Besides, we just need to fend them off. Just look big and scary, and throw some stuff around. Maybe it'll scare them off." Lilith replied as the two of them ran into an elevator.

They stood there inside as it swiftly brought them to the main entrance, where they busted out, Lilith taking position and aiming her rifle while Titanos took a deep breath, puffed out his chest, and let out a mighty roar before charging towards the fight. He hoped the attackers would run away before he reached them, or this situation would become very humiliating as he'd be forced to retreat back. But he couldn't let the factory down... Well, maybe he could smack one of the beasts away to add to the intimidation factor. Not too hard, just enough to throw them away.

IC: Jimmy Abacus

Location: Hero Factory - Mission Control

Jimmy ran into the Mission Control after hearing of the attack. "What's going on?! Where did they come from?!" He asked of Zib. "First a rampant villain in the factory, and now an attack? This is going to be a long day..." Jimmy sighed.

OOC: Gonna put up a new villain profile soon...

It could speak, then. Definitely not a mere animal. Or an animal at all, given the creature's robotic-seeming appearance.

OOC: Thank you for the help, PyroLizard! I found it in the Breakout episode, but thanks to you, I got to see Jawblade pull a cool, almost anime-like pose in an advertisement and that was excellent. Upon reviewing the Breakout scene, I am very happy to see that we get the best of both worlds in that he still appears to use his fins and thus I still get to make shark with robot legs jokes.

IC: Wilbur Flood - Antropolis City

Flood nodded absently, but his eye was drawn by the sheer amount of beast pods around. He wasn't very well-versed in the creatures- many of them weren't aquatic, after all- but he'd read a few papers on the ones that were, and by the nature of the species, he had picked up a little knowledge on the species as a whole. He drew himself away; he had a job to do. He instead looked around for the turbine.

OOC: Gonna assume someone at Hero Factory got these nerds' message.

IC: Eloise Thumper and Mara Quiver - Mechron City

Thumper waited as Quiver gave a few more details to whoever was on the other end of the call, and then hung up with a mumbled 'Thank y-you'. Thumper smiled, despite still feeling a little annoyed at the villain getting away. "Well, they're gonna spend a while banging out the dent in their ship, at least. How are you feeling?"

It took a second, but Quiver found the words. "I d-don't feel w-w-well."

"That's okay. You did great today. It was your first time in the midst of things, and you did so, so well." Thumper grinned. "Besides, we've got one more chance to catch a villain today. And maybe if we catch one, Quark won't be so mad that we forgot to call her when the villains turned up!"

Quiver winced, which made Thumper smile wider, leading her friend back towards the police station. "Aw, don't worry. She's probably busy with that explosion thing that was happening, and we would have just worried her even more. She'll be mad, but that's just because she wants to keep us safe. She won't stay mad... at least, not for long... hopefully..."

OOC: I think I have a better idea

SHIP PROFILE: Breaker's Stolen Dropship

Ship Size: The size of a standard hero dropship

Pilots (these are PCs onboard): Breaker

NPCs onboard (if applicable): None

Communications Systems: Everybody

Navigation and Drive: Navigation is looking out the window, enhanced with Breaker's access to the Hero Factory's network. The drive system handles like a dropship.

Weapons Systems/Armor: H4 Force Ball Shooter, Cockpit Vario-Field, Armor Plating

Propulsion Systems: As fast as a Standard Hero Dropship

Land vs. Dock (Atmospheric): Can your ship land on a planet or asteroid safely? For most small and medium-size vessels, the answer will be an obvious yes. Large vessels is an open question.
