IC: Jason Ferro- Ruins

Even with only one cuff attached, the power draining effect would still prevent the villain from using their wings. The ice certainly didn't help matters. His first target incapacitated, Ferro dissolved the magnetic fields binding them in order to conserve power, before setting his sights on another fleeing villain (78). Seeing as it worked last time, Ferro created more magnetic fields in a similar configuration to what he had done seconds before.

IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Ruins

The other heroes' attacks allowing him to catch up to his target, Gorn stabbed at Traferous's right knee, in an attempt to cripple the Titan.

Name: Discordia

Character Type: Villain

Powers and Abilities: Chaos Fire - Discordia can summon a shadowy, fire-like substance from her body, intermingling with what appears to be sparks of blue, green, and purple electricity. In actuality, however, it siphons energy from whoever it hits and transfers it to her (power 1 : major), weakening her targets while increasing her own stamina and, in some instances, even allowing her to recover from injuries faster while in a state of rest. While it causes absolutely no physical damage whatsoever, and any burning sensations felt by those targeted by this power is due to its hallucinogenic side-effect (power 2: major), it should also be noted that it has the potential to (at the discretion of the character's player) slowly corrupt those affected by it over an extended period of time if its essence isn't purged from their system, causing them to act more and more selfishly until they devolve into cold-blooded psychopaths. (power 3...minorish?)

Chaos Lightning - Discordia can also produce a form of solidified lightning from the palms of her hands, which she can then throw as a spear or use in a whip-like state to lash out against and damage potential foes with. This lightning, while solid enough to support her own body weight and possibly double as an additional form of mobility (whip mode only in regards to that last part), cannot extend beyond four feet as spears or fifteen as whips, and she is understandably quite resistant to the effects of both it and standard forms of electricity. (power 4: major)

Weapons: Predator Blades - Two pairs of retractable, serrated blades attached to her wrists, perfect for shredding through interior circuitry or disembowling those pesky organics in close-quarters combat.

Appearance: To the horror of her victims (and that of young children everywhere), Discordia resembles a strangely attractive, vampiric, goblinesque jester. She wears a tattered, green cloak adorned with feathers of a similar color, as well as blue and gold, and the gunmetal horns protruding from the back of her head and through the hole in her hood resemble the iconic, belled hats commonly worn by those of said profession. Aside from being either pitch black or gunmetal in some areas, her body is a host to a vibrant amount of colors (most of which were hinted at in her Chaos Flame ability) with a few bits of silver and gold thrown into the mix as well.

Needless to say, the palette of her atire is quite eye-catching... which makes it all the more easier for her to pluck them out.

Bio: Not much is known about Discordia's past; her former identity, her homeworld, and the reasons for her descent into villainy remain entirely up for debate. What is known about her, however, is enough to cause even the hardiest of Villains to begin spontaneously leaking oil at the mere mention of her name. She is a remorseless killer and seemingly picks her victims at random, which means that giving her so much as a funny look or questioning her motives or tactics could easily wind up being a death sentence. She also has a habit of leaving a bloody mess almost everywhere she goes, only to spontaneously disapear, which makes tracking her current wherabouts difficult at best, as nobody knows where she is going to strike next. Her titles vary greatly amongst the criminal underworld, with some referring to her as the Emissary of Chaos while others call her the Hellequin of The Hunt.

Despite her cunning and ruthlessness, those who spend enough time in her presence can all agree on one thing, however, and that is that Discordia seems to display signs of some form of advanced mental instability. She can often be heard holding up her end of a conversation within an adjacent room, only for a potential eavesdropper to discover the room completely empty upon her departure, save for the fact that a mirror or some other reflective surface usually remains. Her personality also frequently changes at random intervals as well; one moment, she'll be absolutely ecstatic to toy with people and relish the joys of combat, and the next, she'll display a more devious side, preferring to plan out her actions before executing them swiftly and lethaly without so much as a word.

Either way, those who face Discordia soon learn that not only is she a highly capable fighter, but also a force to be reckoned with.

Faction Name: The Wylde Cards

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Evil (a.k.a. the people willing to kill just about anyone, regardless of sides)

Characters Involved: Discordia (obviously), anybody willing to join so long as they fit the carnival/circus asthetic and/or are some sort of mutant freak of nature/robotics (will edit and repost in the event that people actually join)

Base/Resources: The Fun House - Formerly known as The Three C's Carnival, Circus, and Casino Resort, this space station was once a failing tourist attraction until one day, Discordia showed up and persuaded its former owners to part ways with their establishment. Or she murdered them in their sleep and used their bodies as stage props, but nobody can really confirm this. Whichever you choose to believe, it has since seen numerous repairs and renovations, and is now open for business once again, acting as a front for the Cards' activities and simultaneously luring in potential victims looking to get away from the boring activities of their daily lives. Since the station itself cannot land safely on planets, and has no readily apparent ties suggesting any form of wrongdoing from within, it is accompanied by several cargo shuttles that are not primarily built for combat and are thus used mostly to transport supplies.

Discordia not approved due to having too many powers. Faction Wylde Cards not approved due to not having enough players; the Faction is fine otherwise.

OOC: Had I known about this the first time she didn't pass inspection, I wouldn't have even tried to replace the luck power in the first place. I did kind of figure that the faction part wasn't going to be approved for that very reason, however, though there's not much I can do about that unless a few other players start to express an interest in joining.

Also, for the record,

OOC: I took the "hallucinogenic side effect" to just mean that the fire causes pain without damage, because he didn't elaborate further on what the other effects might be.

this is correct, though I'll try to clear that up if and when I decide to resubmit her again.

IC: Epix - Furno's Ship

Slinging Kaiba's body over his shoulders, Epix emerged from the ship, deploying two of his remaining drones as an additional defensive measure as he began booking it towards The Astral as fast as his legs would take him.

Considering that his Gravity Pack was still active, however, he didn't expect himself to be out in the open for too long anyway.

IC NPC Bulk - Tower Ruins:

He straightened his back and rolled his shoulders, as though nothing had happened. "Never better -- thanks," he replied to Thumper cheerfully, then lightly punched one hand into the other. "Now, let's go show this villain what happens when he messes with Hero Factory."

With that, he started off in the direction Traferous had gone.

IC Wolfe - Near the Astral:

Wolfe hadn't expected the grenade, so there was no time to react before he was blown to the side of the ship like a leaf. He was a bit dazed, and his left leg began to hurt. As he tried to clear his head, he glanced around for Night Stalker. "Hey, you okay?" he called.

I'm getting too old for this...

IC Flint - Heading for the Downed Ship:

Flint grumbled as he watched 78 pull further ahead. He kept on running, firing more shots, as it was all he could do at this point, at least until he could catch up.

IC: Night Stalker

Night Stalker didn't even bother sitting up, and simply says sarcastically, "Oh sure, I'm fine.  Except for my foot.  And my knee.  And my legs and my chest and my hand and my hammer and just about everything else." He tries to count each thing off on his fingers, then realizes he doesn't have enough.

GM IC TRAFEROUS

Traferous hurled twin quaza blasts at the incoming cuffs and his feet, melting the ensuing ice back into his system. Unfortunately that didn't leave him enough time to evade the plasma blade that slashed through his knee, sending him forward - but he turned the movement to try to slam into Gorn and tackle him on top of that blade.

--------------------------------------------------------

OOC: WARNING: Traferous IC has ZERO scruples about killing Gorn at this point. I haven't yet decided whether he's going to just bail or fight Gorn - if you really want him to live, you may wish to weigh in.

GM IC FRAVI

Fravi fell to the ground, the ice breaking as she hit the ground. Slowly, painfully, she began getting to her feet, looking around cautiously, as the cuffs fully enclosed her wrists.

GM IC 78 EAST

The speed/momentum of 78 blasted past most of the ice spears - but she used her control of her limbs to stop herself, her feet skidding on the ground as a spear tore a gash across the front of her chest. Then the magnetic field took hold and she fell over, her body skidding along the ground in a shower of sparks, as Flint's shots went over her head.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GM IC THE BRAIN MASTER (SOMEWHERE IN THE STREPTOS SYSTEM, A RESTAURANT)

While their ship was feeding and repairing...itself...the two organic beings that composed the brain master had decided to stomp into their favorite steak place and catch the news.

It was then that they saw that most of the organic beings and robotic civilians were staring at the screen in a state of shock. The two teleported to the front, only to see - Hero Factory was destroyed. The footage played over and over.

The two teleported to another screen. Another news network was covering the appearance of the Astral and speculating whether the Factory could be rebuilt, what this meant for the galaxy...and who, just who, was the mysterious villain that attacked the Factory and was now fighting them on their own ground.

Then, it was the Brain Master's turn to be surprised. The grainy (and admittedly far away) footage of the battle showed a ship both of them recognized - it was one they had attacked a few years ago, only to be surprised that it was not an easy civilian outifit run by a laughable and personable leader, but it was an organization ran by a powerful villain who was not to be underestimated.

Traferous Diaphanous?! Why would he destroy Hero Factory?

The two looked at each other. Maybe he was serious about that alliance request.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC: Logically it's going to take a lot longer for them to get back to Makuhero city, so I'm not going to pull a fast one. If Traferous loses here, he loses. Just consider this an update.

OOC: Done and done.

NAME: Sampson Bass [HERO]

POWERS/ABILITIES: Sampson possesses enhanced strength and durability, as well as heightened senses of hearing and touch. He is particularly sensitive to the unique frequency generated by his sonic cannon, allowing him to use it for echolocation. In addition, he is equipped with a state of the art internal galactic compass to aid navigation.

WEAPONS: Sampson's preferred weapon is the sonic cannon built into his right arm. It is a very versatile instrument, by turns loud enough to blast boulders to rubble or soft enough to barely be audible. He can also adjust the width of the sonic beam, though high-powered wide-bore blasts tend to have a reduced firing rate. There is a small prosthesis-style split-hook hidden beneath the barrel.

Sampson also carries a simple glaive, which he uses as both a melee weapon and a walking stick.

APPEARANCE: MoC

BIO: Sampson Bass was still a rookie when he went on the fateful mission that destroyed his eyes. Shrapnel from an explosion was driven through his ocular receptors and through his skull, missing vital components in his brain by micrometers. The shards couldn't be extracted without destroying his brain...so it was necessary to improvise. After a few cycles of adjustment to his condition and the new weaponry he had been issued to compensate for it, Sampson was back in the field once more, and performing as well as ever.

Though never the most outgoing Hero, Sampson Bass withdrew into himself following the accident, keeping to himself and never speaking unless necessary--and then generally as tersely and quietly as possible. He is, however, reasonably good friends with Artemus Schadenfreude, who has taken it upon himself to ease the blind Hero out of his shell, though he's been careful to take it slow, and thus has had limited success so far.

It's "bass" as in the musical instrument, just to be clear. :P

And I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me a quick rundown of what the former site of Hero Factory looks like right now. I was planning on having Artemus and Sampson arrive there with Demoman in tow, so I need to know what they're looking at.

OOC: I'm honestly waiting to see if the other pursuers are going to post anything? If not, then I guess I'll make a Uerub post when I wake up tomorrow.

IC: Andrea PlumeVar Vicious
Location: Battlefield of Glory's Ruin

Andrea, having been chasing down Fravi until Saracen along with a few other heroes intervened, now turned her attention to a villain she had encountered before; Var Vicious

At the same time, Var was prepared to lunge into battle with the villainous Traferous, but decided against it when another hero landed next to her, the one she'd fought before; Andrea Plume.

"Well well. Small battlefield, droid. Seems our victory over our foe didn't last very long at all. Back to finish the job?"

Andrea grimaced. "Actually, I'm here to arrest you. You assaulted a suspect in custody, and combated two officers of the factory."

"Oh come now, little bird. Surely you can't hold trying to destroy that villain against me? Especially when that's exactly what your friend with the bow did only moments later... well, for a temporary effect anyway. And both cases of me fighting you and your friend were instigated by the two of you, not me. I, dare I say, was only defending myself, but that's something I've already explained to your friend."

The two spared a quick glance over to Wolfe dragging a cuffed villain away from the scene of battle. "Anyway, you and I both know that villain won't be stopped by any conventional means. He needs to be destroyed, thoroughly and utterly. And we can't do that if we're fighting each other. So here's my proposal. For now, we set aside any petty grudges and try to devise a plan to get rid of him-" She pointed at Traferous for emphasis "-once and for all."

Andrea hated to admit it, but the villain was right. Traferous was a threat to the whole factory, and they needed to work together to take him down. "Alright, I have a plan... well, part of a plan. We'll work out the details, but we need to work fast."

OOC: How about the I get off my dead tail instead and actually do my job? :P

24965579019_f35f6c92cd_c.jpg

OOC: 78 is by the engine room; Fravi is slightly to the left of the middle due to being accelerated into a metal thing; and Traferous probably got five feet away from the battle before he got stopped and ganged up on lol.

Also, I am waiting for a Gorn post before posting as Traferous again. It's kind of important, as that decides where he is in relation to the other attacks. Anyway.

GM IC 78 EAST

Bound by the magnetic field's pull, 78 could do nothing as the impact grenade smashed her into the ground, breaking her back armor shell and busting apart several of the delicate servos in her chest that allowed her to use her powers.

GM IC FRAVI

Fravi walked. She thought about drawing her knife and trying to use it against the cuffs, even though it was no use. No, she would just have to keep walking, and hopefully Dr. Lie, 78, or Traferous would be able to get the cuffs off. Stupid Heroes.

-----------------------------------------------------------

GM IC ??? (MECHANOS)

The gel thing finally flopped to the ground in front of the restaurant, and chirped. A very small landing craft rolled up, and the thing crawled in. Whew.

Villain Profile:

Name: Carphos (aka the gel thing)

Powers, Abilities, & Weapons: Carphos is clear, and thus hard to see. It can will itself into shapes, such as arms and legs, but this is tiring to it and it would rather not do so. It naturally adheres to most surfaces, and it can adhere or not adhere at will.

Its main weapon, however, is a form of poison that it can inject into organic or robotic lifeforms. For organics, it is a paralysis that wears off in a few hours. For robotic lifeforms, the poison shuts down the systems of the unfortunate victim one by one, unless they are cleaned. The poison affects the flow of electricity in the target; an organic individual would move the fluid away from their nerves and wash the poison from their system, whereas a robot would not. This poison could be deadly to a civilian if left to spread for long enough, but it doesn't affect quaza energy, meaning that a Hero would not be killed from it alone.

However, Carphos is very small, slow moving, and has a weakness to fire and water, and can be easily drowned. Energy weapons can easily destroy its substance. Swords and bullets can cut it in half and damage its delicate nerve structure.

Appearance: Clear, small gel blob.

Bio: Carphos is an emissary from a small planet on the edge of the galaxy that was concerned that Hero Factory or one of the other warring factions in the galaxy might attack their planet next. Unfortunately, he hasn't had much luck actually finding the Factory - just plenty of trouble on what he thought was the peaceful planet of Mechna. Namely, he ran into a pair of psychopaths with flamethrowers who threatened to kill him if he didn't take on whatever dirty jobs they thought a gel blob could pull off.

Location: Mechanos.

IC: Uerub Kalslann

Location: Mechna - Grunge District | Active Quest: To find a Necromancer

The trio had made its way out of the tight alleyways that bordered the Grunge District. They had then travelled through streets filled with thugs and pickpockets, some of which were stupid enough to actually try and steal from the three of them. After a few separate incidents, the street rabble seemed to learn its lesson, and the trio's journey wasn't hindered much afterwards. After more walking, they finally happened upon an older area of the district.

Older, and much more desolate. Scattered throughout the ill maintained houses and streets were weak-looking robots and creatures, huddled up around weak fires, wearing rags that could only barely be recognized as once having been clothing. "Well... this is depressing. Still, it looks like we're on the right track, if the rumours of an abandoned area in the district are anything to go by."

OOC: I hope it doesn't clash too much with your ideas for the city, Fishers, but Necrissia lives in an area of the Grunge District that's almost completely abandoned. A practical ghost town, if you will. Pays to be a scary unknown being with the powers to bring back the dead, eh? Anyway, this is sort of the area that leads into the "ghost town".

IC: Ken Render - Slow Going

It had taken a while, due to avoiding the fight as best they could- Render didn't like to fancy himself a coward, but he didn't think they'd be much help with Forticus between him and the healer- and finally made it to the door of the Astral. He knocked, shooting the other two a tired grin. Though comparatively smaller, Forticus was still heavy enough to be tiresome to help walk over long distances.

~

IC: Timothy Gyro - The Astral

Hearing someone knock on the door, he nudged Kat with his elbow, seeing this as a useful escape from Stormer's disapproving look. "Hey, there's someone outside! Let's go get the door for 'em, we might even be able to scope what's happening out there."

OOC: I sincerely apologize for the delay, I had real world obligations to attend to.

IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Brawling... Again...

Gorn quickly sidestepped the titan's attempt to tackle him, before taking a few steps backwards. His wounds were beginning to cause him pain again, and he was in no position to try and take on someone as big as Traferous, at least not until his comrades had weakened them a bit...

IC: Jason Ferro- Brawling

Ferro gasped as his second target was blasted by a grenade's explosion, pushing them into the ground. Ferro couldn't see if they had survived the blast, but it seemed that another hero was about to reach them. Despite all that these villains had done, he didn't feel that they deserved to die anymore. They deserved a fair trial at the very least...

Attempting to take his mind off of the possible death, Ferro turned his attention to the villain who had been frozen. The ice had melted faster than he had expected, and the villain was making a very slow getaway. Running after them, Ferro easily caught up to the bound flyer due to the latter's low power.

"You're not going anywhere."

IC: Scourge- Hunting

Having been stalking the Hero and their weird friends the entire time, Scourge was incredibly surprised by the sheer amount of easy prey surrounding it. Attacking the hero could prove dangerous. These unfortunate beings, not so much. Heck, it could probably kill enough of these bots to get the same amount of energy it would get from a hero core, with far less effort. Abandoning it's previous prey, Scourge instead went off to gorge on Mechna's less fortunate.

IC: Arsenal- Detour's over

The walking attack helicopter made his way back to his ship, having ignored Uerub's quest. He had much more important things to attend to. Entering the cockpit, Arsenal took off and began flying towards Mechna's middle district.

Approved.

GM IC TRAFEROUS

Traferous was already falling over, so Weaver's mace shot largely missed, scraping the back of his head in a glancing blow. Bliss' kick, however, caused him to fall over on top of his severed leg, which hurt. He quickly shapeshifted that back into where it belonged, repairing the damage, and began to crawl along the ground, trying to avoid being Heroes' Punching Bag of the Week.

GM IC FRAVI

"Incorrect," Fravi said. "I will be going somewhere - whether back to my home in the sky or prison camp with you. If you're going to talk with me, at least try to make sense."

GM IC 78 EAST

78 slowly and painfully extricated herself from the dirt, and began crawling along the ground. She wasn't sure she could stand given the damage to her back, and her legs hurt to move. She stayed close to the engine room, hoping to stay out of view of enemies.

GM NPC STORMER

"Both of you ought to treat fellow Heroes with more respect," Stormer said to Katherine and Gyro. "Now get out of my sight and actually do something useful with your lives."

He then turned to Katherine. "Teams are built on respect and trust. How to you expect to be assigned to a team if you act like that?"

 cloud-time-lapse-o.gif

Azure Stryker finally snaps out of it and goes straight back to this:

tumblr_n3pwxpN6sm1qduyqso1_500.gif

OOC: Perfect.

IC: Azure Stryker/Ruins at HQ

"I'm fine. My location? I'm at the base of the tower. Or what was the base of the tower. I think I see someone there."

IC: Gadget Thompson/Ruins at HQ

Gadget, after the HQ was destroyed, had been running around what was once the base of the tower scavenging for any salvageable technology to hopefully bring back to the Astral. Unfortunately he didn't find anything, but he did come across a large Hero who had noticed his presence.

"Oh, hey! Uh...Gadget Thompson, reporting for duty! I was just seeing if I can bring something back to the Astral, but I guess it's pretty unnecessary. Those guys did a number on the tower."

Azure nodded in response and sent back another transmission.

"Never mind. It was another hero. He's also in good condition. We'll go after the nearest villain from here."

"Wait what?"

IC: Timothy Gyro - Rude

"Hey, hey, whoa," Gyro growled. "Nimius is a jerk and a bully. A harmless prank ain't gonna hurt him, and he's done way worse to way more people."

Glancing at Scarlet, he added, "Besides, it was all my idea, anyways. There's nothing to get mad at her for, she was doing what I asked her to."

OOC: Here I go having to describe that area for the 5th time...

GM IC SARACEN

Saracen would find himself in a hallway with three doors. One of the doors was slightly ajar and was marked "engine room" on the door. The other side of the hall had a room which had lost its door, with a bunch of ruined robot heads bolted to the wall and a power-draining net dangling from one of them - but Doctor Lie was clearly not in there - and any inspection would reveal the engine room to be deserted as well - although there hand to be some power source around here, otherwise there wouldn't be any lights.

There was another room at the end of the hall that wasn't marked.

GM IC TRAFEROUS

Traferous stopped the mace with an arm, grimacing as the tool tore huge gashes in that appendage. He shifted out a Kryptonium blaster aimed at the Hero off of his back, and his usual sword into the mangled arm.

GM NPC STORMER

"Yes, but he's still a Hero," Stormer said. "A hero who has gone through a lot worse than two rookies play-drawing on his face. Now run along and go do something useful."

IC: Gabriel Bliss - Final Epic Battle

Bliss aimed a burning slash at Traferous's arm while the villain tried to reform the other one.

IC: Alex Drift - Final Epic Battle

Drift ran towards 78 even as she crawled out of sight. He usually reserved his grenades for more heavily armored villains or for crowd control, but with his home in ruins and his best friend dead he wasn't exactly in a good or reasonable mood. He didn't have any cuffs on him, but with her condition it shouldn't matter too much.

IC: Cobra Shard - Final Epic Battle

Shard would have launched another attack, but by now Traferous was surrounded by so many Heroes the rookie was nervous he might hit one of his own. He moved in closer, looking for an opportunity to strike.

GM IC TRAFEROUS

Traferous moved his arm away from Bliss' sword to avoid it being hacked off, and drew another sword of his own. Bliss' blade tip did cut through the arm anyway in a large gash. Said arm was now across his back, near the blaster, and might make shifting complicated.

IC: Timothy Gyro - The Astral

"Rookie?! I ain't-" He stopped at Scarlet's words. He glanced between her and Stormer, and forced his temper down. Scarlet didn't need to be in any more trouble. He said, "Sure, Kat. See ya, Stormer. You keep holding down the fort in here or whatever."

As he and Scarlet walked towards the door, in an attempt to make her laugh, he stooped and mumbled in her audial unit, "Jeez, if he loves Nimius so much, why doesn't he just marry the guy?"

OOC: I forgot to mention this, but Gyro isn't a rookie. However, seeing as he's pretty immature and by no means a veteran Hero, not to mention he's standing there with Scarlet and it's probably easier to say "rookies" rather than "rookie and Hero", I have no problems with Stormer referring to him as a rookie.

I hope I'm not becoming annoying with the multiple profile attempts. The bolded are changes. Hopefully this will fix the problem...

Name: Shellshredder

Affilation: Villain

While not designed to actually fit someone inside of him, Shellshredder is, in essence, a walking shell. Very strangely, he seems to have no inner workings, not even a central processor or power source, meaning he has no vitals that can be damaged and he has no energy that can be detected as a lifeform. (EDIT: Shellshredder now CAN get his parts replaced, but while replacement parts do not require inner workings, thus making the issue of replacing them easier, he cannot simply assimilate a scrap pile into a new arm) Thus, puncture based weapons will be rather ineffective against him. On the other hand, his hollowness means that impact damage is highly effective against him and he can crumple significantly easier than others. This does not affect his strength, however, which is good as any’s. As far as his senses go, he only has four of the five base senses, not having taste as he is unable to consume anything. His senses are slightly more enhanced than others and are unable to overwhelm him/cause him pain, but this doesn’t mean that you can’t blind/deafen him. Unlike others, however, he has no scanning systems whatsoever, giving him a disadvantage against those capable of doing sensor sweeps such as Heroes. His movement is somewhat haphazard and erratic, making him seem even more like a zombie. However, this doesn't mean he is hampered in any way, sometimes catching people off guard with his sudden bursts of speed, which, while nothing spectacular, is more than his drunken gait would suggest. As far as personality goes, he generally meets everything with indifference, fearing none, impressed by none, and almost incapable of holding a grudge due to his excessive apathy towards all. He tends to speak of things that make little to no sense, however, buried beneath his speaking in riddles and strange allusions to things that couldn't have possibly happened is an impressive intellect.

Regenisis- Rest in pieces... literally. :P

Hunger/Diffusion- Able to drain energy on touch, this will generally result in the weakening of whatever part he's touching within the first several seconds, followed later by the part going limp and the effect spreading throughout the body and causing it to go limp. To this extent it only affects more external energy, such as that powering motor movements and sensors, maybe even processors as well. However, up to this point it is short term and will do no damage in the long run, generally only paralyzing or stunning them and not overly affecting their power supply on a large scale (Note: Whatever part he's touching is the first affected, so grabbing someone's head in an armlock will knock someone out far quicker than shaking hands with him). While he can take it farther, for instance damaging someone's memory or processing or draining them completely, this would take far too long to be practical on someone such as a hero and he doesn't consider it worth his time.

If he is in direct contact with energy itself, such as an energy shield, his hunger powers are considerably stronger on said energy, allowing him to push his way through energy walls/force fields (the difficulty with which he can do this depends on the force field and its power output, shields that use more power would take longer for him to push through, and if they're high powered enough he won't be able to do it)

While his inner workings, if he has any, appear to run on nothing, in reality he is simply able to sustain himself with ease, draining unsuspecting victims of their energy to perk himself up. While he seems to be able to make do with little energy, he tends to lurk in areas where there are both plenty of potential victims and plenty of places to hide. Thus, the Grunge fits him perfectly.

Inertness- His body is practically an energy vacuum, any energy poured into it being shunted into oblivion. Thus, due to his strange nature, EMP’s and electric based attacks are generally worthless, this does not mean that he is impervious to magnetic based powers, however. Some other things may not be effective on him either, for instance, lifeform scanners likely won't detect him due to his lack of energy. (Of course, one might be able to detect him if the searched for the lack of energy...)

Appearance:

Average height, black and silver appearance, while appearing heavily armored, as mentioned above this partially disguises his hollow bearing. His helmet looks not unlike this, except that it's black in addition to silver and is blankly hollow where the eyes should be.

Bio:

No one knows when this husk of a being first appeared. For the most part he stayed in the shadows, recovering from some malady unseen to others. As he began to consider things other than self survival, he suddenly realized how purposeless his former life was. There was no point in seeking revenge on the one who broke him and there was nothing left of his former world, or, at least, there wasn't going to be. Thus, he started the life of crime. No one in their right mind would tread anywhere near him and he frankly didn't see the point of being 'nice'. Claiming affiliation with none, his sense of morals is practically nonexistent and he will ally with both Hero and Villain alike when he deems it necessary, although he almost always works with criminals, as when he decides to do something 'productive', it generally isn't for everyone's best interests.

OOC: Stormer really doesn't care what the proper Hero designation is at this point. He's using the term as an insult.

OOC: Say, where in hero factory's ruins might one find a large amount of remote detonated explosives?

IC: Uerub Kalslann

Location: Grunge District - Mechna

"Alright, let's move. Oh, and don't let them play to your sympathy, Core, most of them will probably try mugging you the moment you show them a sign of weakness." Uerub kept walking down the street. Up ahead the area seemed to dwindle gradually in population.

GM IC SARACEN

There was another room at the end of the hall that wasn't marked.

IC: Saracen Rune - Ship.

"Well, this looks promising," cautiously, he pushed open the unmarked door, rifle at the ready. "Hello?"

IC: Evangeline Weaver - Ruins.

How the heck do we stop this guy? There wasn't enough water left for her to do anything useful, but... if she could drive him back towards the lake... maybe... She lashed out with her mace once more, trying to swing at his head again.

IC Flint - Fallen Ship:

Seeing that another Hero was taking care of 78, Flint continued on in the direction he'd seen Saracen run. He entered the ship with caution, careful to look out for any traps or faulty equipment that could blow up in his face. His sword wouldn't be of any use in that kind of situation, but he held it at the ready regardless, in case some other villain saw fit to ambush him. "Rune, where are you?" he called as he neared the hallway with the three doors.

IC Wolfe - Astral:

"You'll live," the vet chuckled as he hauled Night Stalker aboard. "Which way to the cells?" he called to no one in particular.

IC NPC Bulk - After Traferous:

Nearing the little group that was bombarding the villains' ringleader, Bulk checked his rocket launcher and grinned at Thumper. "Watch this," he said, before addressing the Heroes attacking Traferous. "GUYS, INCOMING!"

And with that, he fired...

OOC: Yes, Bulk has a rocket launcher in his Breakout form.

IC: Jason Ferro- Ruins

"Well you... You know, you're right, actually. I never really thought about how inaccurate that line is. I suppose a better one would be "You're coming with me!" or something like that. Either way, you get the idea. You're under arrest."

Ferro grabbed the chain connecting Fravi's bonds and began to lead her towards "The Astral".

IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Brawling

Gorn was alarmed at the sight of the Traferous regenerating their lost leg. If the wounds Gorn inflicted wouldn't last, there was no way he could hope to win, even with the help of his comrades. Noticing Var and a hero conversing while pointing at the Titan, Gorn got an idea. Quickly approaching the pair, Gorn inquired about Var's powers.

"Do you think you could use "The Force" to keep that guy from instantly healing all the wounds I give him?"
