the final challenge

For a lot of the time, Omega couldn't see anything.

He was just left there, in the darkness, thinking.

Thinking about what he had done.

How he had failed.

How he had died.

He still couldn't believe that last bit. He had fallen to his knees, in agony. To EXXAN. He had PROMISED himself that he would beat Exxan. Of course, it was all for nothing. He was a weakling, and he would have to have to face that for eternity. In the black. After a while, a small light appeared. Omega naturally walked towards it, anything but this horrible darkness. Then the light transformed. It started to take shape. A hunchbacked figure began to form, two arms stretching out from the light. Two legs also sprang from the bright light. Finally, two, solid purple eyes gleamed out. The light began to fade, and the figure's colors were revealed. It was a red rahkshi, with black tribal patterns all over. Omega's eyes widened when he saw her. "Kat...."

The rahkshi said nothing, staring into his soul. Disgust was plastered over the rahkshi's face. Another light formed in the rahkshi's hand, before it too morphed, turning into a sword. The sword began to bend, seemingly at the rahkshi's will, since he could see it straining. This was not Kat. This was just a monster, in Kat's shape. The rahkshi began to move forward, it's sword at the ready. Omega began to back away. But then, two identically sized balls of light appeared in his hands, before shaping into two axes. The same ones he'd used in Corpus. He raised them, ready to fight. The rahkshi snarled, and ran forward, it's sword swinging towards his head. Omega ducked, swinging an axe at it's midsection. The rahkshi screamed in pain, ichor spurting all over his axe. The rahkshi grabbed ahold of Omega's head, tearing at his soft kraata. He drove in the axe deeper, making the rahkshi scream even more. Finally, he kicked the rahkshi away, tearing away the axe, ichor covering it. The rahkshi's expression had turned from disgust to anger. Omega's had turned from fear to determination.
