Hapori Tohu
Christian Faber is at it again, sharing even more cool stuff over on the Faber Files. This time it's an entry called Flashback - The LEGO and Star Wars collaboration - part 3 where he shows off a concept of the box design for the Star Wars sets from 1998. It shows off a prototype Millennium Falcon model navigating the asteroid field from The Empire Strikes Back. It's interesting to see how many design elements changed before the final product - the logo color, the minifigs, and the set itself. Yet it's still instantly recognizable. I look forward to seeing more of these cool behind-the-scenes glimpses! View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
Onuki
That's a cool Millenium Falcon prototype! The older cockpit design using a piece they didn't have to make is interesting. And it looks like a minifig could actually fit through that doorway! The use of the old UFO saucer pieces is still familiar and iconic, though. Toa Smoke Monster
That is a really neat poster. I like how the Millennium Falcon looks, even though it is a prototype. I can't wait to see what Faber shows us next. Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
