it's very clean, and its a nice pose! the Proportions are very good too, the only thing that looks particularly off with them is the feet seem somewhat small. :P

The right hand seems a little bit off, but not by much; it was a good call to make it smaller then his left hand with the shot having it farther back, but it seems like its just a liiiittle bit smaller then it ought to be.

The colors are pretty well balanced too, especially for working with pretty much a single tone; seems like it just needs a touch more of the dark grey here and there on the neck and upper legs, but other then that I'd say its all well and good!

the shading isn't bad either, but its difficult to tell where the light source is... Behind him, I think? Regardless, it does seem to add some depth (if that's the right word, me art terms are a bit rusty) to the picture, which is a definite plus.

All in all, its a great drawing! I See noticeable improvement from the older one you linked. :)

Thanks! I appreciate what you have to say. :D

First of all, I'm going to be honest and say that this drawing was made on a different program. The original Bionicle/Toa drawing was made on Paint.NET with a mouse in about a couple hours. This, however, was made on my iPad using one finger for a couple days. That does explain the obvious improvement.

Proportions and perspective are the bane of any starting artist, in my opinion. Luckily I have years of experience. But I still can't draw hands right, and I know that many can empathize with that.

I often do all my work with one tone. I'm not fond of blending yet. I want to make sure I master the basics first.

Depth is the right word! But to be honest, I kinda shade wherever I want. Your trouble in determining the location of the light source is something I wrote down for future drawing reference so my artwork can improve. Thanks for helping me discover this.

Thanks for your comments. Having other people tell me about my work is quite riveting.
