Welcome, Av-Matoran. In 48 hours, Mata Nui will awaken and Karda Nui will awaken from a deep slumber. You have been left behind by Takanuva because Takanuva is forgetful. The only place where you can take refuge is the Codrex. Unfortunately, it only has enough supplies for one Matoran... and there's a whole lot of you. More than there is space. Somewhat conveniently, you all have Midak Skyblasters, delivered to you by forces unseen. You can fire three shots from it before fatiguing yourself. Confusingly, the last shot in each Midak Skyblaster is not a blast of light, but a zamor sphere, allowing you to take control and therefore credit for the actions of whoever is shot by the zamor. But be warned, two Av-Matoran using a zamor on each other is a nice recipe for an explosion that kills you both.

 

THE GAME

 

This is Midak Skyblaster - a hopefully quick game where you try and kill as many other players as possible. This is done by:

  • Using your Midak Skyblaster, which, in terms of ammunition, has three blasts of light and one zamor sphere before being empited.
  • One blast of light is enough to kill a target. This means you can kill three targets total.
  • How can you win if you can only kill three people? That's where the zamor sphere comes in.
  • The Zamor Sphere will allow you to 'take control', and therefore credit, for the kills of whoever you target with the zamor. You can only target one person. If they also target someone with their zamor who is not you, then you take credit for whoever they targeted with the zamor as well, and so on, as you ultimately 'control the chain'. Be at the top of this chain of people to hopefully have the most kills and thus win the game.
  • If two people target each other with the zamor spheres, they die.
  • If two people target the same person with the zamor spheres, the targeted person dies
  • If two people target the same person with blasts of light, then whoever submitted their target first will get priority. Also, the target definitely won't become a zombie. (But there are no zombies in this game.)
  • It's not about surviving, like in Mafia or Hitman - it's about getting the most total kills. Even if you are killed, if your kills still total more than that of anyone who somehow survives, you still win.
  • From the moment everyone has signed up, there will be a 72 Hour opportunity for you to PM me all of your targets, who you wish to kill and who you wish to use the zamor sphere on. Title the PM 'Midak Skyblaster: [Your Username]'s Targets' or 'MS: [Your Username]'. After these 72 hours, the window to submit me your targets will be closed.

 

THE RULES

  1. You have only three blasts of light and one zamor sphere. You cannot kill more than three people and zamor more than one person.
  2. This is not Mafia, so it's not about surviving or accusing people.
  3. There is only one 'round'.

Seems highly intrigueing and a neat concept. Sign me up.

 

Though quick question, when submitting targets, do we list our 4 targets at the same time, 3 kills, 1 control?

Anyway...
 

IT'S TIME FOR A BLOODBATH(DO MATORAN BLEED? ZOX TOMANA WILL BE HAPPY)

TIME FOR DEATH.

 

The sound of fifteen Av-Matoran preparing their Midak Skyblasters echoed across the gigantic cavern that was Karda Nui, bouncing off the Codrex and the fallen stalactites that formed the foundation of the Av-Matoran villages. These echoes had broke a long, uneasy and tense silence that had spanned for around three days - unnerving whoever had not prepared. Fortunately, all but one Av-Matoran had prepared for this day - the day a lone Av-Matoran could get into the Codrex and do the impossible: Survive the energy storms. Of course, diplomacy to decide who to survive is out of the question when you receive awesome Midak Skyblasters that let you kill and control people. This also meant that it was no longer a question of survive. Why survive when you can destroy as much as possible? Sixteen Av-Matoran... Forty-Eight blasts of life... and 16 zamor spheres. Soon, these would be flying across Karda-Nui, towards their targets, beginning The Firefight.

 

The aformentioned firefight was began by Zox Tomana, who killed Burnmad, Lucina, and Ghidora. He used the Zamor on Fishers64, who, unfortunately for him, had used her zamor on... Zox Tomana. Both died instantly.

 

Ghidora, before death, having been super prepared and sending his preparations back in time for a few seconds accidentally, managed to kill Nevermore, Jed1ndy, and Unit. His zamor had targeted Lucina, only to find out that Rahkshi Guurahk had also targeted Lucina - denying them both the kills that Lucina had committed.

 

Jag18, meanwhile, managed to kill Kohrak Kal 17, and shot the corpses of Ghidora and Jed1ndy, while clamoring to zamoring Kapura. Except, Kapura was contested by two others - Jed1ndy and Unit, who had also attempted to zamor Kapura....

 

Lucina, being under Ghidora's control, killed Xaeraz, while being late to killing Zox and Nevermore. Their own zamor sphere went to Vox.... who died because they were also zamored too many times. Three deaths, two zamors for Vox.

 

FF the Forgotten attempted to kill Lucina and Kapura, and managed to do so, just in time before more zamor spheres hit them - but their other target, Kohrak Kal 17, was already dead. Even their zamor did not give them success, as their target, Rahkshi Guurahk, died due to to TooManyZamorsitis, half from FF and half from Nevermore.

 

Kohrak Kal 17 attempted to kill Unit and Kapura, but to no avail - they were already dead. However, they did manage to kill Jag18. Unfortunately, that was to be their only success, as their zamor target - Vox - had died.

 

Luroka attempted to kill Lucina, Vox, and Fishers, only to find they were all dead. His zamor target ended up being Burnmad - who had killed and zamored absolutely nobody. In short, it was ineffectual. Plus, Burnmad died about twice.

 

Nevermore had attempted to kill Zox, Kohrak Kal 17, and Unit, but of course, they were already dead. Their zamor target, RG, died to being zamored twice. Interestingly, nobody targeted the aforementioned zamor target with blasts of light. Just one too many zamors...

 

Fishers64 was late to killing Lucina, Burnmad, and Ghidora. And of course, she had already died by zamoring Zox who had zamored her anyway.

 

Xaeraz attempted to discard their Midak Skyblaster and rip the spines out of Lucina, Ghidora, and Vox - they were successful, but they were already dead anyway. They attempted to zamor Burnmad, who already died twice, once to Fishers and now to too many zamors.

 

Vox attempted to kill Kapura, Kohrak Kal 17, and Jed1ndy, but was late. Zox, Vox's zamor target, was dead already, too.

 

Jed1ndy tried to kill Kapura, Fishers, and Lucina, but of course, nothing happened. They were dead. And so was Kapura, their zamor target.

 

RG managed to kill Luroka, but that was about it. Their other targets, Burnmad and Fishers, were dead, and Lucina had died so many times already.

 

Unit failed to kill Vox and Jed1ndy, because they're both dead. Unit did manage to kill FF, which was a relief. Kapura was again a zamor target. What is it with Kapura and zamors? 

 

Kapura himself tried to kill Burnmad, Vox, Ghidora, but all three were dead. They did target Luroka with a zamor, though. This was also the only truly successful zamor - Luroka's kills were now Kapura's. But was it enough?

It would seem that zamors killed more than they helped anyone. The only successful zamor came from Kapura, who had 0 kills. It was used on Luroka. Who has 0 kills. 0 + 0 is... calculating... shockingly, still 0. It seems there were no absurd zamor chains. Just a lot of death by zamor. And sometimes, multiple deaths.

GHIDORA IS 2ND PLACE, WITH 3 KILLS.

FF IS 3RD PLACE, WITH 2 KILLS.

 
 

Hope you enjoyed this, even if it's a bit of a mess. Note for anyone looking to do anything similar to this in the future: Give them one kill and one zamor next time. It'll be much easier to keep track that way. :dazed:  

 

Burnmad didn't send in anything. Kapura was targeted with zamors a lot. Three times! I've shown you who targeted who because, really, there isn't any point in not telling you,  considering this game just ended.

 

Anyway, congratulations to Zox Tomana.
