Hapori Tohu
Another project has recently achieved ten thousand votes of support on LEGO Ideas. This time it's 20,000 Leagues under the Sea NAUTILUS by OrionPax, based on the ship from the well-known Walt Disney movie. The model looks pretty amazing with some awesome building techniques. It's a bit on the large side though, so even with the licensing agreement in place between Disney and LEGO, I'm not sure this will appear on store shelves. We wish it the best of luck though! Wazdakka
Why would it not appear on store shelves? Disney is more than happy to suck money from their licensed sets, as shown by the overpriced new Star Wars sets. Quote Steam Name: Toa Hahli Mahri. Xbox Live Gamertag: Makuta. Ballom Nom Nom
I expected this to be too implausibly huge to be made into a set, and I was surprised to see it wasn't actually that huge. Looks about to scale with the UCS Star Destroyer. So, still a bit impractical as a set, but not completely insane like that Flying Dutchman. ~B~
