Unlike the previous thousand cries of "nuva symbols!" whenever a square rune showed up, this time they're actually the Nuva symbols.  Nice easter egg.

It's not just an easter egg. You'll find that out later though. ;)

And look, Nuva symbols! Well, they look like Nuva symbols on the left...

More importantly, who is the winged being?

Why, that's a Toa. There's a reason why Kopaka and Leaked info is not to be discussed. -B6 are packaged together. Can you guess? Edited by Black Six

Although the episode, including the battle, could have been better, but it was awesome!:D Man, things are going The Lord of the Rings (when Kulta looks like Sauron with the Mask of Creation and how he hit all six Toa in one swing) and Thor (when Ekimu's hammer restored his armor when battling and defeating Kulta). Man, the Toa are desperate. These are epic!:D

I wonder what happened to Kulta? Did he fell into the burning furnace (similar to Gollum in a movie, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King)?

Anyway, I see the Nuva Symbols, and some 2016 stuff, like the picture of a winged being and a crate of new fiery-looking armor. The 2016 striking is coming, guys.:) We have to wait for two months.

Anyone find any Okoto letters in this episode?

Since this is a concluding episode of this season and this year's webisode series, I think it is a good conclusion of this year's storyline, even though it's a bit short.:) I wonder if there is going to be more webisodes in 2016?

I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!:)

We're getting a netflix series, no more webisodes.

So if Kulta is Sauron, then who is Melkor? An even better question is, who is Eru?

I find it interesting that we are supposed to get 20 episode this year, but thus far we've only seen 18. Who knows, more may come.

My guess it will work like this;

19: Ekimu escorts the Toa out of the city, while defeating the last of Kulta's forces

20: The Toa and Ekimu leave the city. The to a return to their villages, while Ekimu searches for new Masks for the Toa (if not this, than perhaps something similar. These are just a guesses though)

well this is a weird-looking box.

I'm not Saying it's Leaked info is not to be discussed. -B6 buuuuut

it's most likely the 2016 main villain :P

Also those six symbols on the right? The ones on the left are the Nuva symbols. And those six squares at the bottom......

Subtle Hints, baby................ Subtle Hints...............

We've got Nuva symbols on the left, six unfamiliar identical symbols on the right, a humanoid with wings front and center, and five empty squares below.  I think the five squares are where we're supposed to unscramble the five letters hidden in previous animations, which would mean that this image would be labeled "UNITY."

So many 2016 references! Also, nice Nuva symbol easter egg. Unless of course it's more than an easter egg...

TOA NUVA 2016 CONFIRMED!!! :P

I really wish these animations weren't so rushed because of the time limit. It's a good thing we're getting a Netflix series next year, which should allow for more in-depth story.

Also, that box of obviously 2016 parts looks pretty cool...

Where do people keep getting this "20 episodes" figure from? The DumDum website says 19 90 second webisodes (the Legend and two 9-episode seasons) and 11 character spots (the 6 Toa and 5 Skull Villains, I guess? This one is questionable, because Ekimu got one as well, which means properly it should be 12.) All episodes are accounted for now. We're not getting any more this year, afaik.

Even though it's the last episode for now, I got the same feeling I had approximately a year ago when "The Legend" was released! :)  It was a very nice episode.

One thing that is kind of weird is that I don't think Kopaka ever loses his Golden Mask? I remember the Skull Warriors' character animation having one of them holding the mask, but it never happened in the story? (Maybe I'm missing something?) Not complaining though considering Kopaka is my favourite character. :P

Just watched this directly after seeing the 2002 news story animations for the first time in a long while. Amazing how such "simplistic" and "low-quality" flash animations invoke a much stronger feeling than the new episodes ever did. I mean, G2 is nice and all that, but watching them side-by-side really brings it into perspective: It's not the Bionicle we used to know.

Hoping the books flesh out the world more, but I'm not counting on it...

Those parts at the end... And the Nuva symbols! 6 Nuva symbols, six creatures... One being. The hidden word, "Unity". The Uniters. "BIONICLE: The Journey to One"... Power-up mode for next year confirmed I guess.

The pace of this really ruins what could have been a really good finale. It's epic and the stakes grow so high at the end with all the Toa defeated with Mask's broken... And all it takes is just one swipe from Ekimu. And then their Masks are all fixed I guess... It makes Skull Grinder look to be a fantastic final boss only to undermine him directly after. We actually never even see how he is beat... Ekimu just did it by himself? Alrighty then.

I liked it. But if we didn't have a clipshow episode we might have gotten a better paced finale... Oh well. I enjoyed summer 2015's animations for what they were and how they were released steadily, as opposed to Winter's slow stretch. Really fun to have been on this adventure and I'm personally stoked for next year with a true television show.

I love that we still haven't gotten "The Toa are the best at what they do always they just need to work together" motif.

They are clearly rookies.

Ekimu is their coach.

They are the underdogs and I'm liking where this is going.

Ooh, last episode's out? Time to go binge...

...

Aaand that was quick. Which is why I saved a bunch until the end, but still the pacing was left as my biggest disappointment with this year's series.

I also did like that the Toa weren't the best at everything though. That was refreshing.

Yeah pacing was too fast. The old animations were very slow and now these new ones are too fast! Where is the happy medium?

G2 desperately needs some serious world building now, like what MNOG, the comics, and bonus material did for G1. Maybe now that year one of G2 is coming to a wrap we could get some more world building from TLG.

Anybody else note the names of Greg Farchety, Christoffer Raundual, and Christian Faber in the credits? Even if they still aren't working on Bionicle, TLG still lists them as the series creators.

Here's the episode for those who have trouble watching it on Bionicle.com. (Like me.)

Anyways, this was an alright episode. It was cool seeing Kuita one-shot all the Toa, even though they made it really easy for him to do so. But as others have said, the pacing on this feels rushed. Hopefully next year's episodes, whether they be online or on Netflix, won't feel like this.

Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.

It should be noted that those three seem to be the BIONICLE veterans that were consulted as the new line was developed - it isn't meant to imply that they were the original team creating BIONICLE. I don't remember if Christoffer was on the original team, but Greg wasn't and several of the people that were aren't listed.

Christoffer Raundahl was definitely on the Bionicle team from the very start (he designed the original Tahu and Kopaka sets, and even before that his name appears on the patents for some Slizer/Throwbots parts). But he wasn't the design manager at that time — that was a later promotion.

Greg was a member of the story team from at least 2001 onward since he was the writer of the comics. But he wasn't involved in the earliest stages of the theme's planning like Christian Faber, Martin Andersen, Bob Thompson, Alastair Swinnerton, or Jan Kjær.

I interpreted that credit as that Christoffer, Greg, and Faber designed the original concept for G2

Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong though.

That's what the phrasing implies for me too, but Greg has said that all he did was look over stuff that had already been written, so apparently that's not the case.
