The 1st Shadow
So, here's my first entry for the #BionicleMaskMaker competition. Took a bit of work, but I'm more or less satisfied with it now. Anyway, the Mask of the Skies! It allows the user to take flight and control the wind and weather. Flickr Gallery Enjoy. 9 Quote ~Your friendly, neighborhood Shadow ~Credit for Avatar and Banner goes to NickonAquaMagna~
McNugget
Saw this on Flickr a few minutes ago, and it looks great, Love the little "Wings" on the side. And by any chance, was it inspired by the G1 Miru?
The 1st Shadow
And by any chance, was it inspired by the G1 Miru? Not directly, no. I can see how you'd think that, though. Actually, the original frame was based more on the Kakama Nuva. But I do see the Miru in there. Pohatu: Uniter of Stone
It looks cool. This mask is a threat to my entry. *Growling noise* Nonetheless, it is an awesome mask. I love the trans blue under layer and the detailed gold outer layer. Quote I HATE SCORPIOS ~Pohatu Master of Stone, 2015
Ford
Yup. It's better looking than mine. That's for sure. Also, trans blue is the best thing ever and light piping makes everything awesome. Including this mask! Quote http://i.imgur.com/kbP5Svg.gifhttp://i.imgur.com/O8CcqC5.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/kbP5Svg.gif
Nescent
Those sword pieces flaring up around the edges are a nice touch; too many entries lack anything interesting around the sides. I also like how you left the mouth area open. Great entry, and good choice of colors.
Dallior
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, T1S here told me that the lower mask moves with your jaw, so it talks. I've said this before, but this is amazing. Monumental job here; keep up the good job! Quote "Remember when the comics forum had a lot of good stuff? The 1st Shadow
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, T1S here told me that the lower mask moves with your jaw, so it talks. Sadly, no. The design didn't fit so well, and hurt my jaw if used more than once. So, I disassembled that function and returned it to normal, filling in some bits around the chin to fix it. I wish I could have made it work. Maybe I'll keep tinkering with it for my next entry. Maybe my Kakama... -Windrider-
I saw this on the Bionicle Facebook page, and I can appreciate the work that went into making this. It looks equally stellar from the front and from the side, and the choice of colors is very nice. It may be a small detail, but I also really like the angle of the eyes. Good luck in the contest! Irrie
I'm fascinated by how clean your carpet is. 6 Quote bZpOwEr
Mate.397
Off a human face it looks nice, though when put on somebody it just looks off, the face part feels jumbled or something, don't really know how to put it.
