One little mistake and you could ruin it. One thing though: the slits in the middle-front seem to wide. Was it just too difficult to cut it straight and thin? (I haven't done this in a while) Does the face of the pumpkin pop off when you tap it in the back?It shouldn't. I did this a couple years ago only doing the Mask of Light instead, and it was left intact (rotted away though).
