Hapori Tohu
ToyNews recently reported on Sony Pictures' plan for licensing the upcoming Ghostbusters, Jumanji, and Get Smurfy films. Most of it won't interest you (unless you're a big Smurfs fan), but there is something of relevance to us. Mark Caplan, Sony Pictures senior vice president of global consumer products, stated, "Alongside Mattel, we have LEGO on board, Funko doing Pop! Vinyl and Rubie's is making costumes," when speaking of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. It's interesting that Mattel's own brand, Mega Blocks, isn't making the building sets, but that's probably thanks to the ongoing relationship LEGO and Sony have thanks to last year's Ghostbusters Ideas set. Perhaps we'll learn more about the new sets at Toy Fair early next year! View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
