A bloodthirsty creature with deadly claws and a nearly impenetrable armored shell. He's not the fastest or most agile fighter. But he makes up for it through sheer ferocity and being almost impossible to defend against.

The name in Japanese means "wild red", if translated verbatim.

That's an interesting use for swampfire's head. Overall, it looks pretty good, very bulky.

Nice, he looks suitably Oriental,  he reminds me of that one monster from the Adventurers theme. I still haven't figured out how you make your torsos so complex.

Yup that's right. I bought around a dozen or so on bricklink. They're 3-4 times more expensive than the common gray ones. But they're still only around $.70 apiece or something.

Bonkle - I basically try to cover up every bit of the inner bones that I can by plugging every hole, nook and cranny with an axle that I can stick a ball joint onto. Then it's just a matter of slapping shells and pieces onto them.

Nice work! You did a great job of making an entire MOC out of just a head! I think it was a good decision to use yellow the least just like it's used the least on the head; mostly red and black make for a good, solid color scheme. I like the hands; they're like giant, poseable Onua claws! And nice work making leg details out of Tahnok claws!
