Popular Post Sergei Rahkmaninoff
Gallery Everyone knows of prehistory's fearsome sabretooth tigers, but paleontologists have only recently discovered their more imposing avian cousins, sabretooth ducks. Let us assure you, in all history there has absolutely never ever been a species more incredibly powerful, more immensely dangerous, more patently absurd than these fearsome waterfowl. So I was kind of stuck for inspiration and not really getting anywhere with MOCing, when I looked through the Lego's Design Process topic in Lego Discussion and saw the phrase "I want a Giant Killer Duck now." I decided I would try to make it happen, although admittedly the end result wound up basically just a duck with fangs. Anyways, here it is, for your enjoyment and appraisal. Distorted
This is fantastic! I'm genuinely surprised that it's possible to create such a realistic rendition of a duck with CCBS pieces. I particularly love the beak - is that Chima armour? Nescent
I love this so much! I mean you made a duck. A Bionicle duck. It's impressive how very accurate this is, especially the face/feet/chest. The whole thing is perfectly seamless.

Ghidora131
Ducktales is floodin' back to me... Very nice, even if it is in the despicable LDD. Nice usage of the beak piece.
kathy
Very realistic, the rendering is very good too. I love the use of the claw-paw piece for a chest, quite original. cjr205
This is easily one of my favorite MOCs on BZPower right now. It has everything: Perfect color scheme, good proportions, and of course, awesome fangs. keep it up

Toa Smoke Monster
I love how realistic it looks. I also couldn't help to notice that, along with the fangs, you give it clawed feet. That just makes it even more terrifying. Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.

Sergei Rahkmaninoff
A big thanks to everyone who's commented, I really appreciate the support! And of course, my gratitude to BZP especially for the feature! This is fantastic! I'm genuinely surprised that it's possible to create such a realistic rendition of a duck with CCBS pieces. I particularly love the beak - is that Chima armour? Yeah, that's the piece! Same as on Ekimu's shoulders. This is incredible. How did you even come up with the idea? That's the most amazing part to me. As I said, a Giant Killer Duck was mentioned in another topic and I knew I had to make one. I'm glad that spontaneity paid off.
