I have made my best effort in making the functions of Tahu 2016 now i did not concentrate in making the moc look like Tahu 2016 but it does have the 2 functions.

Congratulations on accomplishing the gear funkchins of th3 Toa of next year, as well as Tahu's clockwork sword, without using those unique parts coming next year.

Nice job! It's nice to see an old, familiar Kanohi on a new Tahu. The red and gold color scheme is a new take on an old design, and it's interesting to see. We're used to seeing the new bulky Toa so this is very refreshing. I wonder what a Gen 2 Tahu Nuva would look like compared to your MOC?

 

I also really like how the fire sword has a function; when it's not elongated, it almost looks like it could serve as a lava surfboard! That's the kind of simple but clever function that the first Bionicle sets were all about.
