Black Six
Due to the dearth of activity and the cancellation of the Legends of Chima theme, the decision has been made to close down this subforum. All topics will be moved to LEGO Discussion and future Legends of Chima topics may be posted there. The forum will be closed on or about December 31, 2015. 9 Quote Bio of a BZP Admin

Toa Smoke Monster
This doesn't surprise me. With the theme canceled and the forum dead, this is a sensible move IMO. Rooster Nui
Yeah, it's pretty unfortunate for the small number of folks that liked it here on BZPower, but it's a sensible choice when you consider how active it is compared to those of Bionicle and Ninjago. I'm completely okay with this move.

Xboxtravis
What, we had a Chima forum here? I guess if anybody still wants to talk about it we have the Lego Discussion Forum here or the Action Themes Forum on Eurobricks... But then who really wants to talk about Chima? aldero
So long, Chima. I barely missed you and might get some sweet discounts on your sets nearing the holiday season. You will be mildly missed. 1 Quote < -< =<o>= >- > Ha! I tricked you into reading my signature! < -< =<o>= >- >
SynthMav
yeah agreed but compared to ninjago and bionicle its was more likely because well lets face it both are largely better than chima well see you chima in the long run Quote The Mavrick thanks to Starwars ep. 7 for the avatar pic

masterchirox580
I was wondering when this was gonna happen. This forum has been pretty much dead for a long time now. I wonder if they'll replace it with a nexo knights forum? Quote It's time to move on.
Sybre
what's chimaIn short, Legends of Chima was a LEGO theme about different tribes of anthropomorphic animals living in a world balanced by energy orbs called Chi. Evil tribes rise up and try to steal all the Chi for themselves, which is frowned upon, and the good animal people fight back. There are all sorts of different animal-themed vehicles and there were a lot of imaginative designs. I never bought even one set, but I watched the whole TV show. Basically, Chima as a whole wasn't horrible, but LEGO's done far better. Quote mindeth the cobwebs

Naota Takizawa
When I first saw the name, I thought it said legends of china. Oops. Anyway, I liked the line, it was cool to see anthropomorphic animals in a Lego theme, the sets were pretty imaginative and while I didn't pay too much attention to the show, I thought it looked decent enough. The minifgures were my favorite part for some reason, it could be the head molds, the printing or just the look of the figures. Seeing Sibress's head underneath her animal mold made me wish there would be some more light blue hairpieces. The CCBS sets were also great since they provided more prints & pieces in unique colors. Kopekemaster
Not sorry to see it go. I've actually looked in here a few times in the past months and been like... why is it still around? Like five threads and most of them are barely alive. Aanchir
Chima was a nice theme. The first three episodes of the show didn't speak to me enough to motivate me to keep watching. But I liked the sets, the characters, and the storybooks. Someday I'll catch up on what I missed, and maybe I'll regret not paying more attention or collecting more of the sets. The ones I did get were brilliant! Overall, Chima never took off the way LEGO hoped it would, but it enjoyed a moderately successful run. I think it'll be remembered well in the long run.
