The Azulvian

Recommended Posts

Very little is known about The Azulvian, as it has only been sighted a handful of times on a distant moon in the outskirts of space. All attempts to communicate with it have failed since it's language is currently unknown. Other key things are also unknown at this time:

Is it male or female?

Is it the only one of its kind, or perhaps the emissary of a race of blue avian beings with designs on invading the galaxy at any moment?

Is it capable of interstellar travel with its own wings, or does it require a vessel of some kind?

Is it good or evil?

These questions, and many more, are yet to be answered.

For such a jumbly and jagged looking build, it looks really, really good. When I saw the first photo, I was kinda confused. Almost instantly, I realized it was some sort of sweet lightning bird. And it sure is sweet! I love the claw being used as a comb and the mix of pieces old and new.

I HATE SCORPIOS

Oh, dang.

Knights Kingdom armor parts. Old tohunga foot. And I doubt anyone had ever thought of putting the Inika shoulder armor on the av-matoran limb.

Instant love.

Thanks man. I had tried so many different parts on the av-matoran leg to give it at least somewhat of an armored look. So those shoulders were about the only thing I could get to work that fit with the overall motif.

I've never said this before, but man, I always enjoy seeing your MOCs. They have a lot of imagination put into them, and today, I see no exception. The use of the Tohunga foot was pure genius. Never in my life have I ever looked at that piece and thought of it as a component for a head. You also made the Knights Kingdom armor work, but it doesn't look as charming when you can see the blue pin that connect it to the arm. This might just be a nitpick, but it doesn't ruin the MOC for me. I also like how you used gunmetal to break up the black, blue, and gold while also making it fit in. It serves its purpose while somehow keeping the electric theme of the MOC. I could even tell at first glance that it was a bird person at first glance, so props on that.

Another good job, man! Keep 'em coming!
