Poll: Which is your favorite Uniter combination?

One of the compelling features in the 2016 Bionicle sets is the ability to "Unite" the Toa with their Creatures. Umarak is also able to Unite with all six of the Creatures.

 

 

Which combination is your favorite? How about your least favorite? What do you like/dislike about the Uniting feature?

Lewa's definitely my favorite, second is Tahu.  I guess it's kindof because the color schemes mesh so well together.  Pohatu and Gali are my least favorites; Pohatu simply has too many colors and I'm just not that thrilled with Gali, that lack of symmetry is really not working out for me...

Tahu's my favorite. His united form helps fix some of his proportion problems (like the head being too small) and gives him the visual flair he desperately needed. Tahu goes from mediocre to great with his united form. Lewa's united form is good too, but he was already a good set so he 'only' goes from good to great.

Umarak got my vote. He looks really cool combined with Uxar. The creature's wings make him look all the more menacing.

I guess I'm in the minority. I voted Onua and Terak. I enjoy the balance of purple, and I like the upgraded shoulders.

I'd say Gali and Akida. The blasters on her shoulders look really good (I love blasters on shoulders) and the fish tail at the back almost makes her look like a mermaid.

I put my vote on Lewa and Uxar. Uxar just makes him (and Umarak too) look fantastic.

I voted Gali as my favorite. Gali as a standalone set is one of the most flawed, in my opinion, but combined with Akida, she's one of the best. Can't wait to see them United in person.
 
Least favorite has always been Pohatu and Ketar. They are the only pair that doesn't "merge" into a single set - it really looks like Ketar is piggybacking on Pohatu, not Uniting with him. The over-the-shoulder slashing swords might be cool, but there's nowhere to stash Ketar's legs, and the scorpion tail can't bend up...

To be fair, they all look like they're "piggybacking" on the Toa. Although, if they can all merge with Umrak, they can also technically merge with any of the other toa as well.

 

To add to the "piggybacking" example, it also just looks like Melum is giving Kopaka a shoulder message.

 

Onua and Kopaka look like the armour they had lost in the transition from Master to Uniter simply became sentient.

I don't have the sets in hand, but from what I've seen in reviews, Lewa and Uxar are my favorites (with Gali and Akida at a close second). I love the way the silver creature heads look on the gold masks, and the way that Uxar and Akida's functions still work effectively even when combined with their respective Toa (unlike Melum or Terak, whose arms help to bulk out their respective Toa's shoulders but don't really do anything else). I'd give Lewa and Uxar the edge over Gali and Akida just because I like those two better individually as well.

Tahu and Ikir, but just barely, i'm not really a big fan of this idea it just looks odd remake of the battle companion from 2008 with canister sets and small sets.

Lewa and Uxar are definitely the best especially after seeing them both in person and I love the Uxar and Umarak combo it really does him and Lewa a lot of good and they were already awesome sets.i can't wait to meet the other uniters and their creatures!

Tahu and Ikir, definitely. Tahu just looks like a god in his unity mode.
