But on this night, after an undeserved mob killing, the silence stalked through the streets. Like a wolf, or a panther, or... Something else that stalks silently. Anyway, the night was mostly uneventful. The streets were empty, as was the ice cream bar. The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon when there was a knock on a little birdy's door. Expecting the local milkman with his delivery of fresh cow juice, Quisoves Potoo opened his front door with bleary eyes, only to let out a shrill cry for mommy as he was attacked... Despite the Detective's objections to this vigilante justice, mob rule did exactly what it says on the tin. FF the Forgotten was led to a makeshift gallows, protesting all the way.
